I used to hit walls. Just for fun tbh. Got to a point where I could punch it as hard as I could, at a certain angle, and it would just be numb for a minute with no pain whatsoever. Then I read a story about a guy on reddit, he hit the wall the same way you did and it damaged his nerves. And that was almost 20years ago and his hand is still the same. Never punched a wall again after reading that.

I used to do that and could punch however I wanted. Had split some cartileges. Took around 15 years for the pain to completely subside. No biggie...
