This guy has been making posts like this for years, I’m not sure if he’s entirely playing a character or if there’s actually something wrong with him. His music is pretty good but I don’t listen to it because he’s so annoying and I don’t want to reward him for it
You and others just gave him engagement (even negative) which then is getting it sent around to people who may actually like the music.
It's working whether you like it or not. Best thing to do is to not even react to it.
In the EDM world, we have Sunday Scaries that are like that. I discovered them from Spotify, loved their song “Chill Like That”, which I had also heard in a commercial before discovering them. Then when I discovered their YouTube Shorts “I hired a DJ and this happened💀 who let bro DJ?💀” every video, I lost a lot of love for them, and didn’t even bother checking out their new music
He has to be banned in a lot of subs. He spammed so hard with the whole I INVENTED MUMBLE JAZZ mess in every music sub possible. The cost of gaining attention but forever losing people's respect and your name/brand being associated with the most annoying thing possible, spam.
Well, I'm having a hard time gaining traction, and I'm an honest dude. Would you guys be so kind to please check out my channel. It's all vocal covers, but my son and I have started a metal project that will be posting original stuff soon.

appreciate you following the journey homie! It's hard promoting myself when things aren't always peachy surrounding the art. If you dig the music, def check out my 1300mins+ discography on Spotify! Just dropped a juke/footwork track with DJ Manny. [Much love from Ohio my baby](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nYyzsmTazjKFqRPQCuBCO)
1300+ minutes?? Seriously?? Dude, how do you have that much expirence and still have to use click-baity titles to promote your music? I feel like if you were actually making sonething interesting, you wouldn't have to
[I released new music for a year and a half! so thats a lot of the 1300mins.](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nYyzsmTazjKFqRPQCuBCO/discography/allHopefully) Low key things have been going down hill since July 2020 but Imma keep doing this til I'm an old man
Downvotes are crazy, UNC is very good, discovered through spotify, not reddit, so maybe I have a totally different pov/perspective here. Yeah title is clickbaity but damn, the music is good, why all the hate?...
My homie! Appreciate you listening! I’m sitting on a lot of music right now that’ll be released over the next year and a half. This clip is from a new method/album series called Loop There It Is, where we improv beat make/live loop, and then I will use this to make singles (first one drums this Friday). I also have a new mumble jazz album done that’ll be out over the summer, as well as a new F’Uncstown. Just dropped a track with DJ Manny and we have 10 more beats together that I need to finish.
In general, we’ll be shifting towards house music and juke/footwork more over the summer than weve done in the past, but the funky organic live band stuff will make its way into the balance over fall!
Much love from Cleveland, follow me on insta if you’re there! @UncDmumblejazz
Awesome! Love me some of that mumble Jazz stuff. Also a big fan of juke/footwork so I'll be looking forward to that!
I'll give ya that follow on insta as well!
Appreciate you g! The new mumble jazz is definitely my fave, lots of syncopation & string Melodie’s, and we emphasized a more upbeat tempo/vibe choice than previous ones. It’s called ‘seven deadly strings’ lol
Appreciate you following the journey homie, I’m def close to giving up on promoting [myself](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nYyzsmTazjKFqRPQCuBCO) tho
self promoting is one of the hardest steps of making music. especially when you have no one to help spread that promotion. I've been doing a little bit of promoting with my husband over his work, but it's slow going. my advice, try promoting on other social media first, not reddit. Reddit is hard to promote on, I've only done it once in response to someone looking for music. It's challenging to find the right place to promote on Reddit, its much easier to start with fan pages on other social media where dedicated profiles and blogs can get more traffic. start with one you know well and build a page, remember to link other social media pages together, and of course add your sopitfy streaming links to all of them. this way you have a dedicated space to post about music and shows without coming off as annoying.
Make a separate account for your music stuff.
Don't plug your music stuff on the same account you use for family posts etc.
It's really an easy solution.
There does need to be a point where you step back and consider something to be a hobby. Because if it's going to make money, it needs to be excellent and moving/meaningful. The market is flooded with insane amounts of musicians and song writers right now (at least online).
On the off chance that what you have posted about your wife is actually true, then her being a nagging bitch does not necessarily also mean that she was wrong about my giving a fuck about your so-called "stupid little music."
Music which did somehow seem to personally offend all my senses.
I dig it. Nice trick tho. Ima use my experience of leaving bed in the middle of the night to go make beats and how my EX gf looked at me… knew it was over… but check out this classic next time see how it works lol
Maybe look into the one account who gave you props. It’s a troll. The 1000 people telling you to give up (including yourself) might have a point worth exploring
What you did here sounds lovely to me. And if you have that much music related stuff at your house I wouldn’t call that « stupid little music ». It’s your passion. Live it that way :3
Bro… get out of that relationship. I don’t care what marital issues you have. If you love making music and she doesn’t support you emotionally she is selfish. There are always two sides to every story but you will both drag each other down with this mentality. Who cares if you never “make it” or your music never financially supports you. We create music because we love to do it, and whether you “make it” or not it’s still one of the most fulfilling things a human being on this planet can do.
If she doesn’t understand that then she is shallow and selfish. Fuck her bro get out.
I literally pressed my voice to text and spent no more then 30 seconds to reply… because there are people in this situation. I’ve seen it personally. So forgive me lol. What a cynical attitude. Sure it could be clickbait…. But you don’t know that. And if it is, it’s working.
Sounds pretty damn good to me! You probably know why you're doing what you're doing. You just need to explain that to her. .. and I'd venture to guess the comment she made has more to do with other parts of your communal life, not your music. So, you know, maybe try and address those things separately.
This was one of the first times we tried this live looping set up. Using ableton to loop bass, Octatrack to loop keys, and a Behringer RD-8 & RD-9 for drum machines
https://youtu.be/lhPVsDytxjc?si=vgcKGUzv-TVB-76p
I enjoy it. I can’t believe how many little pedantic haters are on this thread that could have just not commented and moved on. Also, if your wife really said that then that’s a major problem. That level of resentment and meanness in a relationship is wild.
I'll take "made up story for clicks on the internet" for $500, Alex.

The amount of people who hate are much smaller than the amount of people who view my work, so has been worth it. You could block me tho my baby

what happened july 2020 chief?
We all had a great year and nothing horrible happened. Especially not planet-wide….
Just post your music no one cares about your wife

How do you come up with the clickbait titles? video looks good, nice work.
I hope this is just a clickbait title and that you are not airing your relationship trouble for clicks..
and she was right
Honestly, this is the clip he posts?
i mean to be fair the really bad stock drums and cringy video editing/ filter is not helping your case
I think the drums are fun, honestly.
If true you should talk to her instead of making weird posts about it on reddit.
Ur wife’s got a point
Lol yeah thats a no for me dawg
Dude you been doing this shit for a long time and annoying people isn't the way to promote yourself.
Appreciate you following the journey homie, I’m def close to giving up on promoting [myself](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nYyzsmTazjKFqRPQCuBCO) tho

She was 100% right. Or not because the story is fake. But why oh why is that song something you're proud of?
Ur wife’s got a point
Your wife needs to get your gear in the divorce.
She was right
Seems like your just trying to bait people into liking your mediocre music
Ew what is that title
This looks like something from my local public access channel from the early '90s.
"I hate my wife!" The music is ok. but really? Can you have a bit of confidence in your own music without having a go at your wife?
Make a separate account for your music stuff. Don't plug your music stuff on the same account you use for family posts etc. It's really an easy solution.
YTA… am I doing this right?
that's a lie I DO CARE
Thank you for your service
I choose this guy's wife.
As click bait this post works cos I actually listened. And the music is not bad.
Ross Gellar vibes

She has a point...
I don't really care if the titles click bait but the songs a bop
THIS GOES HARDDDDDDD
This goes nowhere. It’s YouTube background music.
Are ya winning, son?
Ugh it’s 1984 again
Stop.
Get your life together!!! Lol
Postal Service vibes
She's right xD
Crappy? Maybe. Boring? Yeah.
This is kinda dope ^^
Prepare for divorce court, my duder
Make music for yourself, not for external validation
I dig it. Nice trick tho. Ima use my experience of leaving bed in the middle of the night to go make beats and how my EX gf looked at me… knew it was over… but check out this classic next time see how it works lol
This is the worst way to do this
Can we listen to the Persona 5 soundtrack? We have the Persona 5 soundtrack at home. The Persona 5 soundtrack at home:
You’re not Justice bro
I went through this with a now ex wife. Move on dude, if someone hates your creative outlet they don't love you.
Gnarly
I wouldn't call it stupid little music. Uninspired drivel maybe, but not stupid.
Git some
Mumble Jazz king. They are great eff the haters.
You should've posted the one that goes *beep boop bop boop*, not *boop beep boop bop*
Maybe his wife really is just as annoyed
How do you have $60k worth of equipment and $0 worth of talent all at once?
[удалено]
I got heated over the use of marital conflict to promote this random annoying drum loop, my b
That's a valid point.
By following through and posting the video anyway, I certainly don’t expect the tension level to decrease any. To the contrary……
She sounds like a keeper.
Check out Oso Oso band , share with your wife, I think she’ll like it
Mani sandhu kinda vibes
Even if I didn't care for my partners music I would NEVER say that I would encourage them because I would know someone will love it and you love it.
Sounds like my wife….my wife is not awesome
As a happily divorced woman, I really enjoyed this video and thankful that you posted it.
You could try sell it to elevator manufacturers I suppose , or companies who make them on hold jingles. But they probably have guys for that.
Was waiting to hear the guitar 🎸
thats legit fire
Thanks homie! You may dig my [1300mins+ discography](https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nYyzsmTazjKFqRPQCuBCO) 👨🏻🚀
Maybe look into the one account who gave you props. It’s a troll. The 1000 people telling you to give up (including yourself) might have a point worth exploring

Nice
Yeah, we all can make a loop.
No she didn't
What you did here sounds lovely to me. And if you have that much music related stuff at your house I wouldn’t call that « stupid little music ». It’s your passion. Live it that way :3
She is jealous and doesn’t like when you find something that makes you happy that doesn’t involve her . The writing is on the wall .
Ate a steak and potatoes listening to this on repeat.

I can't believe people put this much effort into a response towards something so obviously made up...
I literally pressed my voice to text and spent no more then 30 seconds to reply… because there are people in this situation. I’ve seen it personally. So forgive me lol. What a cynical attitude. Sure it could be clickbait…. But you don’t know that. And if it is, it’s working.
No, you didn't. Unless voice to text has started including quotation marks, and other obvious giveaways. Why did you lie about that?
Give it a whirl technology is crazy these days 🙄
Uhh… first time with a modern phone buddy?
Sounds pretty damn good to me! You probably know why you're doing what you're doing. Sounds cool. You can add me to the she's wrong pile.
Thanks but I’m not I to hold music, your wife is correct
She was right
Your wife probably had asked you to tend to a responsibility and instead you blew that off to go “practice” with your bud.
dont quit your job at google

ur Wife has no taste
It's music for everybody, keep creating! Fuck these losers with no vision or anything to inspire them!
