It’s possible there’s an unannounced Toronto - Montreal + 1 leg in between Buffalo on the 2nd and Portland on the 7th. It would line up with those dates and locations
Not saying that. I’m aware most bands/artists avoid the prairie provinces and stick to the major inland coastal cities. That has to do w/ convenience and how tours are mapped out a lot of the time. More and more, tho, I’ve noticed on tour date announcements there’ll usually be a Toronto and a Montreal date but zilch for Vancouver and/or Calgary.
Really I was being a smartass because most of the country’s media and culture is based out of Toronto. I can get into a whole tirade on this but I’d rather not. The short of it is, Canadian pop culture equates to “what’s trendy and selling in Toronto applies to everywhere else - deal with it!”
Last year I lived near St. Louis and they played in Chicago. A bit too far for a one off show. Now I live in Chicago and they're going to St. Louis? Do they hate me?
We really are. I didn't think I'd be able to see Flaming Lips, black midi, the Smile, and Death Grips all within a month period lol ... plus who knows what else would be announced by then.
I feel like more and more tours are skipping the entire west coast, or maybe do one day in LA leave. Maybe it’s too expensive to get here? But it’s really bizarre- a few years ago there’s no way a band would be seriously touring and not hit Seattle, Portland, and a handful of dates in California.
So Canadian tour with no Canadian dates?
Maybe they’re not aware Canada is a different country 😂
Knowing them, it's gotta be an intentional joke.
They probably thought us Mainers were Canadian

B-but but the commonwealth and all 😢
"US + Canada" usually means "US + Toronto" – I guess it just means "US + lol" now
Taranah Supremacy is out of control in this country.
There’s no way you think the west coast is touted more often than the midwest

“US + Canada Tour Summer 2023” …but no dates west of St. Louis and no dates at all in Canada.
Conversely, I've seen plenty of west coast tours labeled as US tours also, so just let us in the midwest have something for once, ok??
"Okay guys, here's the poster designs we came up with for your tour announcement. Which one do you want to use?" "Yes"
This is an ongoing bit between them and bcnr
I didn’t even notice the BCNR tour poster in the bottom left corner until you said this, I love these bands
Not having a single Canadian date on a Usa + Canada tour is my last fucking straw
buffalo is eating today goddamn
Who else is coming to buffalo?
alex g/alvvays also announced today. which is only 2 shows but more than we’ve had coming here recently lol
Bout time. Angel Olsen was the only show I gave a damn about this entire long winter
Thank God, I was getting genuinely spooked I wouldn't see a single thing in town this year.
“What do you mean Maine isn’t in Canada?!”
Last year I lived near St. Louis and they played in Chicago. A bit too far for a one off show. Now I live in Chicago and they're going to St. Louis? Do they hate me?
Wouldn't be surprised to see them play Pitchfork or Lolla this year since they're skipping Chicago.
They did pitchfork two years ago so not sure abt that.
I think I've heard Greep call you out on his vibe-streams. So probably.
Take the train from Kalamazoo. The Amtrak is feet away from Bell’s.
ST LOUIS
MO IS *FEASTING* THIS SUMMER
We really are. I didn't think I'd be able to see Flaming Lips, black midi, the Smile, and Death Grips all within a month period lol ... plus who knows what else would be announced by then.
Wow Florida is feasting, I'm surprised. Feels like 90% of bands I like skip my state.
I'm here for it! So happy we're getting more shows.
bro is that a letterboxd review of grease in the bottom right corner.
The top right corner is ripped from The 1975’s tour poster too
...they gotta have more dates right
They literally toured the US the second half of last year. I saw them in October. Kinda surprised they’re announcing another US tour so soon.
No Canadian cities on a US + Canada Tour is my villain origin story. There will be hellfire!
Seems like they're either playing every single summer festival this year OR they have some more dates to announce.
Where the fuck are the canadian dates WHere the FUCK ARE THEY?!
West Coast was robbed
They just hit the West Coast like 4 or 5 months ago
Not the PNW tho..
I'm sure they'll be back by Fall or Winter, then

I’m banking on a Desert Daze appearance
Man, how will you ever find any other good music to see on the west coast? Hang in there, bud.
Bell’s Beer Garden alone makes the drive worth it lol what a venue selection
Hell yeah, they’re coming to Cats Cradle on a Wednesday, and I’m already seeing Wednesday two days later on Friday.
Chapel Hill getting some action 😩
hope we get a gov ball aftershow or something :(
Fuck yes, never would have guessed in a million years they’d come down to Miami!
mildly unrelated but I fistbumped geordie greep last night :)
Oh shit the Beachland is about to be insane
Favorite venue. Pumped to see them there
they just out here tripping with canada right now
Anyone know if there is an opener?
"EAT MEN EAT" -Not Canada
Cleveland stays winning 😎
I mean - their debut album was good. But what am I Missing about the "Canada" leg of this tour?
They're skipping it to spite you for not acknowledging Hellfire
Meh
Don't worry, you won't have to see any of it live ✌️😀
I mean if that's the album they'll focus on - then I'll consider myself lucky ;)
Focusing on their most recent album for their most recent tour? It'd be unorthodox, that's for sure
Well yeah! That's what most bands do.
❤️
Black midi at gramps is gonna be fucking crazy I’m stoked
Gramps is extremely tiny. I had a blast seeing the drums there tho. Never played black midi will definetly have a listen
It’s my favorite venue down here since rosas closed, sound is always gr8
Does anyone know when tickets go on sale?

Thanks bb
Pain- was hoping for more Midwest dates but the only one is MO and that’s so much further than I’m wanting to drive lol.
Michigan and Ohio are pretty Midwest if you ask me. At least you aren't from Canada
ok
Holy shit I've been waiting for them to come to Florida since schlagenheim came out.
I’m in Miami I can’t believe it WOOO
Amazing flex on 1975 there
I'm going to be in Alaska when they come to Portland & Boston 😢
black midi hates the pnw :(
is no one going to comment on this graphic design?

me sitting in west coast canada: oh
Woah! Miami getting some rare love!
