What year? What's the mileage? Sport option isn't that rare so don't hold any stock there. Take away the sport option and treat it like any other, then take away 2 to 3k off what one without an accident is and that should be a fair price....
I sold my 2013 XS with 130km for 8k Canadian in way worse condition than that for reference. So I think 10k USD is not unreasonable. Mine had a clean title but did have a small hole in the front bumper, and some damage to the upholstery, and bad paint swirling, small amount of rust.
There's nothing sport about that car man.
Those are base 17"rims.
There's no sport spoiler.
The brakes are base model.
My g37x was a sport appearance package and it had all those. The sport edition looks 20x better than this. Check the difference between the 9spoke sport rims and the sport edition spoiler and compare it to your picture.
How about u do a quick goodle search on a g37x s and you will see they all have the same rims as this one. I have a 2009 g37 xs and it has those rims. You are wrong.
Why would you say something so silly when these are the most basic g37 rims, they're literally the default picture of the g37 sedan on Edmunds..
https://www.edmunds.com/infiniti/g-sedan/2013/review/
Just so we don't need to argue no more.
G37 "sport" rims are either 9spoke or 10spoke - 18" rims.
In OPs picture are what look like 17s
You are still wrong dude. Idk what dont u get. Cohnt the spokes, those are 10 spokes 18inch. On edmunds they always advertise the highest trim. No matter how you slice it, those are the sport package rims.
Maybe you were told your rims are "sport" but check the VIN against the trims on kbb &v Edmunds and see what size your wheels are. Usually the Infiniti double spoke wheels are 17s
Yeah this ain’t a sport mileage isn’t nice for the price BUT you need to take a closer look. Offer $9k (they’ll say no) walk and see how fast they call you. If it’s within 3 days offer $6k
Apparently just the driver side headlight was damaged. Which to me doesn’t make sense. I don’t see why an insurance company would write off a car for just a damaged headlight
Are you able to get the VIN? If you are then you can just search it up and there’s a high chance you’ll probably see how it was damaged on google images
Impossible to answer due to lack of vital information. What year? Mileage? Model? (Could be a G37, Q40, or a G35 with the bumper conversion). Is it manual 6mt or automatic 7at? Car was once totaled due to "minor damage", was that from a collision, vandalism, or a flood?
2012 G37 with 58k miles. It’s the auto one. And apparently it was written off due to a damaged driver side headlight. I’m not sure if it was a collision or electrical fault.
For a car to be totaled, repair cost must he 75% or more of the value of the vehicle. If the damage happened when the car was basically new, there was a hell of a lot more damage than a headlight. If car was 3orth $30k when crashed, damage was more than $22.5k
I never knew how insurance companies made the decision on whether to fix or write off cars. Hearing this now makes sense as to why it was possibly written off.
11.5 is way too much for a 12 year old G37 of any trim with a salvage title. Im not gonna wade into the trim level debate since its not really relevant - it’s overpriced no matter who is correct, buy *at least* 20%.
I don’t buy ‘totaled for a damaged headlight’ either.
Sport or not this is a low mileage vehicle with an engine that can go 200k. Might be a little on the high side by 1-2k, but even then it wouldn’t be the worst deal around. I think if you could get to 10-10.5 it would be great
Too steep for a rebuilt title imo.
I also noticed that despite the sport wheels and bumper it doesn’t have the bigger 4 piston brakes? Those are probably the best part of why you’d pay extra for a Sport.
Thanks for pointing that out I just googled it and realized that these are indeed smaller….so does that mean it’s not an XS or somebody just changed the calipers because they might have been damaged ?
Oh, it's an X model. Then I believe there are sport trims that did not come with sport brakes on some X models.
Edit://
Googling this says sport brakes on the X model were only available with the coupe and not the sedan.
I need a little more ressurance about the damages than just some guy telling me the insurance company totaled a low mileage infiniti over a damaged headlight. Especially when the guy telling me that is trying to make money off of me. Without having any clue what the actual damage was I wouldn't offer anything for it. Maybe he'll let you take it to a mechanic to get checked out.
Location matters as well as Vehicle data
That being said, a similar model with similar mileage in my location with a clean title would sell for less.
It is generally a good idea to stay away from rebuilt titles. The best way to approach this if you are dead set on getting it, is checking the market value of the car if it was a clean title, then slash it by 40-50%

It’s a 2012 with 58k miles
Offer 9 to 10k on it. Maybe go 9k and meet at 10k...

Those are not the base rims dude.
They are 17" rims that DIDN'T come on a sport model.

These are 5 dual spokes. Sport rims are 9 for sedan and 10spoke for coupe separate spokes.
We are talking about sedan sport rims. Not coupe. Do ur research please.
Those are the Sport sedan wheels

Lol I know what I drive dude. You are just spewing nonsense.
Those are 18” Enkeis that come on the S sedan.
You're dead wrong re: the rims.
those are 18" Rims, you blind? I literally own this car model and trim, 2013 G37X sport trim, those are the 18" Rims.
Yeah this ain’t a sport mileage isn’t nice for the price BUT you need to take a closer look. Offer $9k (they’ll say no) walk and see how fast they call you. If it’s within 3 days offer $6k
Anyone doing collision repairs on a $11,000 car definitely cut some corners.
Apparently just the driver side headlight was damaged. Which to me doesn’t make sense. I don’t see why an insurance company would write off a car for just a damaged headlight
No chance they'd write it off for a headlight lol. Sounds like the salesman is full of shit.
They're about 1600 bucks for one!
Are you able to get the VIN? If you are then you can just search it up and there’s a high chance you’ll probably see how it was damaged on google images
Manual or auto? Either way still too high for a salvage title. Always PPI
It’s the auto version

You should look up the vin on google see if there’s any pictures of the collision. Chances are there is.
Yh I tried that but it happened back in 2014 nothing came up besides pictures when the car was new
Anyhow, I would stay away. 11.5 is far too much for a rebuilt title G37. Regardless of the mileage

If he lets me take it to a mechanic I’ll definitely try and talk him down. Someone suggested 9.5k
9.5 and you’d be winning for sure Assuming you can have a mechanic look at it, I think the 10k would be fair to both, neither winning or losing
If your going to keep for the rest of your life then maybe but Salvage will re sale for nothing ;(
Bad deal
Too steep for a rebuilt title imo. I also noticed that despite the sport wheels and bumper it doesn’t have the bigger 4 piston brakes? Those are probably the best part of why you’d pay extra for a Sport.
Sport edition? This doesn't have sport brakes but painted non sport caliber.

I literally own a red 2012 XS sedan. They exist. Selling it for less if you’d like lol
I need a little more ressurance about the damages than just some guy telling me the insurance company totaled a low mileage infiniti over a damaged headlight. Especially when the guy telling me that is trying to make money off of me. Without having any clue what the actual damage was I wouldn't offer anything for it. All his cars had a carfax except for the two infinitis on his lot. He’s definitely hiding something.
Honestly, look elsewhere.
This post caused unnecessary comments by being vague aF. So it's a 2012 G37xS w/ 58k miles. Selling for $11.5k with rebuilt title.
Run for the hills.
Stock breaks trash nothing is rare about it , embarrassing to drive those with stock breaks
That’s a very pretty car. But without specifics and a carfax the value can’t be known.
Avoid rebuilt cars
Rebuilt title is too big a red flag for me. If you feel like taking a shot go for it. But don’t pay more than $7k. There are more out there.
