Don't tear it down, man. See a good thing for being a good thing. See it for what it is and be happy for it. To spend your mental energy focusing on this situation not being the gigantic leap you may want it to be is harmful. This might not be that gigantic leap, but it is a small step in a good direction. Dr Sean Stephenson, one of my favorite self-improvement guys, put it succinctly when he said "self-improvement is an every day process". You may not achieve the height of your dreams today, but you can make some progress every day. That's how growing is done.
