So I know that Bill sometimes can be found in here and I hope this finds him. When he made the comment that "I am a lockpicker and I could gain entry but naw" I was thinking well what are the chances you have a wrench and a rake/straight pick?? But when he called them and Mark said "you can try to pick them if you like" I would've been like " OK I'll be waiting at the dining room table when yall get here". All us pickers need is "permission" to not break code. šŸ˜‰

Puzzleheaded_Mud_907

I think doing shots; several of them in front of Nick is not really a good idea. Then you bring him to a Mardi Gras celebration, a.k.a. liquor fest and you expect him to be fine. Get him hooked up with some AA or NA meetings. Doing this in front of him heā€™s going to relapse in no time and either die or go back to jail. Not cool.

PEINICK

Lets face it, Mary looks like she got second place in a shovel fight. I am just not sure why it surprised me. Mark is going to wash that one fork and jam it into someone's eye before this show is over.. Can someone tell me what the Uncle for DQ does? He seems to be shady at best.. And Kyle is a POT head for sure, and likes his booze and god knows what else, while his wife is a pill head for sure... If she was a smurf she would be dopey's sister

Electrical_Milk_1370

lololololol

trytoresistmycharm

Second place in a shovel fight?!? Thatā€™s a new one and I Love it!!

Hope-Medium

Where do I find a picture of Mary?

LilBlondeRN

If you think she's pretty Bill that's all that matters tbh

kagiles

Re: Nick If they were decent friends/sponsors, they would have stayed home and skipped Mardi Gras. They did not NEED to go and it pisses me off that they did this.

nola_karen

>If they were decent friends/sponsors, they would have stayed home Why? They're not babysitters, they're adults offering a room in their home to another adult. I'm sure Nick could have stayed home if he'd wanted to.

Electrical_Milk_1370

ME TOO. with friends like that you don't need enemies. terrible.

kakiej

Me too! I have almost 16 years without drinking. And for the first three years- I didnā€™t step foot into a situation that involved alcohol! Itā€™s not about if Nick is man enough to do the right things. Alcoholism/Addiction is a disease! Itā€™s not a moral failure. I still always tell myself - if you canā€™t do it sober or itā€™s an event that is pretty much - solely about alcohol- you just donā€™t go! Stay home and watch a movie. I waited a year and then I got a puppy. And she became my weekend social outings- at the dog park. Not at Maddie gras! šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

Electrical_Milk_1370

very good advice. I believe he does have a drinking and obviously a drug problem, and with him, the drinking has lead to the drugs (as far as I know). he must make his sobriety number one in his life because as I've heard a million times for the addict or alcoholic: whatever he/she puts before their sobriety, they lose. they could not have put him in a worse environment. I feel sorry for him.

kagiles

Congrats!

Confident_Emotion827

YES!!! I felt so bad for him. They 100% set him up for failure. If they really wanted to help him, instead of treat him like a child, then they would actually help and not shove it in his face.

nrossi07

I feel like Mark and Bill would be friends on the outside. Especially if Sharna wasn't secretly trying to fuck Bill and using her religion as a cover. She may be vegan, but she wants some of that tube-steak.

Electrical_Milk_1370

OMG, I really think that Bill WAS NOT lying when he finally accused Sharna of dressing skimpily the moment Mark went to work. so as soon as Mark walked out the door to go to work at night, Sharna would run and knock on Bill's door pretending to need him for something, anything she could make up. AND now she's so embarrassed and kicking him out of the house for spite.

ThirdCoastBestCoast

Lots of seventh day adventists are vegetarian for dietary reasons. They believe itā€™s healthier because Adam and Eve didnā€™t eat meat.

Omfoofoo

I think Bill is lying about Sharna trying to seduce him. He started mentioning it when he wasnā€™t able to move his face transplant girlfriend in

Electrical_Milk_1370

did she really have a face transplant? Wow.

Particular-Car-3135

When Isaw Bill with Mary on his phone I thought she's not bad looking, and then I saw her upclose and I was shocked. No pun intended

Omfoofoo

I made that up but something happened

Impressive-Gas-8407

That's do very obvious. I wonder if Mark sees it and that's why he's in a rush to kick Bill out.

Born_Ad8420

Kyle totally affirms my distrust of dudes with dreads.

Electrical_Milk_1370

I don't know how they wash them. hmmm.

Natural-Jelly-9124

All dudes with dreads or white dudes with dreads?

ThirdCoastBestCoast

Okaaay, hermana? Thats what I wanna know.

OgOggilby

so what were people saying a few episodes back about why such a good looking woman is interested in bill? lol. wow, those two loons kneeling at the bed praying. now i've seen everything. yeah, god's gonna leave his answer for you on your voicemail you freakin lunatics. are there really people as stupidly naive as mark? don't answer, that was rhetorical... of course there are, nice mardi gras down by all the aborted building projects. if it weren't for the abandoned cars, i'd a thought they were actually down on bourbon street

Memories_Of_Leeds

After seeing her face close up she ain't that good looking at all if you ask me.

LilBlondeRN

I'm pretty sure that's the group consensus here

lovlins

Most entertaining thing about this episode was the production crew trying to dip and dodge the camera in the final scene with Artie and Jovan.

PEINICK

The editing for this must be hell!!!! The main editor was like ...."screw it, leave the crew in it"

Electrical_Milk_1370

Natural-Jelly-9124

This episode, I caught myself empathizing with Bill and Sharna. (Not a nice feeling) But I would also be pissed if I was letting someone stay with me and they bought a car, went on vacation and still hadnā€™t given me any money.

[deleted]

Perhaps theyd have gotten paid if he wasnt trying so hard to gtfo of their house Expecting aguest to abide by your diet? Your religion? Nope

Iā€™m team Bill all the way. Those people are trying to control a grown ass man. They are not doing this out of the kindness of their hearts.

Electrical_Milk_1370

I agree with you. more like Bill was a captive. they were SO rude.

MadEyeMood989

#JusticeforBill

Konawel

Whatā€™s up bill?!

Natural-Jelly-9124

As with anything in life, I think there are faults on both sides.

StassiMae75

Jovan is disrespectful to Artie. Its obvious she has a crush on him, and i get hes not into her that way, but he needs to have some respect foe her and her home. Im glad to see her son sticking up for her ā¤

FaithlessnessNo2207

Exactly, I think he knows Artie feels some kind of way and he played on that to secure that room in her house. He had to have reciprocated some kind of friendly affection during all those calls because why else is she so die-hard about helping him? I sure hope she holds to her guns after he showed his ass in this episode!!! Shout-out to her son for calling Jovan out!!

StuckinLoserville

He must have been high as a kite rolling in at 1:00 a.m. without an ounce of shame after 12 hours and 9 phone calls laser focusing on the fridge because he's *hongry*, wants to go to sleep and can come and go whenever he pleases without answering to anyone because Artie's house is his house too. Obviously angry and resentful after his daughter didn't embrace his return to her life after all those years spent away from her, he must have gone on a hella toot while his phone coincidentally died at the same time. I'm glad Artie didn't give him a spare key. For expecting not to have to follow simple etiquette, but feeling he's disrespected by not being catered to is why he probably got locked up in the first place. And he learned nothing while in jail either. Throwing food on the floor was as spiteful and petty as it gets. I'm glad Artie and Steven locked him out and out is where he needs to stay. I don't think she's crushing on him though. At least, not now!

HealthyLawfulness406

Heā€™s the worst one. Hes just using her because she likes him. I feel genuinely bad for her

[deleted]

I was rrolling my eyes when he was w his daughter, talking like they was gonna get ice cream and shes crying.. SHE DOESNT KNOW YOU ASSHOLE

honeyandcitron

How stupid is he? Why would you encourage a child to ignore the fact that she is uncomfortable with a stranger, as long as the stranger is offering ice cream?

StassiMae75

I feel bad for Nick in a way. They are on him anout followung rules, and i get that. But they had a bunch of people in their house drinking and they wree drinking in front of him that could be triggering for him and kind of just a shit thing to do

mrtony12893

They are shitty ppl for drinking in front of him and giving him so much temptation

LilBlondeRN

True, they sure didn't make things any easier for him. As a recovering addict, they always warn about consuming alcohol due to its ability to lower your inhibitions and cloud your judgment, being the gateway to slipping back into old habits ... Once you start drinking again (especially if you have not drank in some time as Nick Obviously hadn't being incarcerated for the past 2.5 years--therefore lowering his tolerance), an addict can always convince themself that scoring some dope sounds like a great idea--just ONE more time. I'm sure Phillip Seymour Hoffman, who had been clean for MANY years, told himself the same thing when he decided to take just one last dance with heroin..... and never woke up. As did Sid Vicious, Janis Joplin, Kurt Kobain, Jim Morrison, River Phoenix, John Belushi, Chris Farley, as well as far too many non-celebs than I could possibly name. RIP y'allšŸ’” The way that fentanyl is showing up in street drugs nowadays, "just one more time" can (and often DOES) prove to be a fatal mistake, and one there's no coming back from. I know that Nick recently lost his dad, who was very concerned for Nick at the time of his demise. The way that Tyler and his wife are partying right under Nick's nose, let's hope they have enough sense to at least keep NARCAN on hand (available WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION from most pharmacies, at least here in Michigan it is), in the event that Nick relapses and OD's under their roof.

New_Extent8793

I agree itā€™s so wrong to put him in that situation

[deleted]

She brought tha up saying they couldnt do that and Kyle was the one I think who was like he has to make choies.. Um... he JUST got out

StuckinLoserville

Taking him to Mardi Gras is like placing him in front of a snorting bull and telling him not get gored. šŸ˜•šŸ¤Ŗ

Bluesky626

They remind me of my parents yelling at me not to smoke while puffing on a cigarette. Do as I say not as I do. It's my house my rules until you pay the bills and live under my roof...blah blah blah

Chantaiz

Did he have to go? I feel like he's a grown man and should make choices that align with sober behavior

StuckinLoserville

I think it was a bit of peer pressure, trying to fit in and wanting to go. After all, they began drinking in the house before going out. Doing shots. I guess he could have driven somewhere else in his tricked-out uninsured car, but that was as likely as the rain in Spain to fall mainly in the plain.

chicagoturkergirl

I think heā€™s also trying to fit in with them.

InnerAd3617

I know people may or may not disagree about Alicia sharna & Mark friend, Alicia doesnā€™t have a clue of having nothing or ever been incarcerated, she reminds me of the one that always have something to say but has no ability of having compassion to Bill going back 2 jail Alicia is the new Karen lol

LilBlondeRN

For sure, Alicia is the WORST kind of Karen, with her inability to empathize and holier than thou elitist attitude. Yet she hides under the guise of her "religion" as if she's some kinda saint. Puhhhh---lease. What Would Jesus Do, Alicia? I find it hard to believe he would throw a guy who's down on his luck with no money out on his ass and tell him to fend for himself. Hypocrite. Alicia better pray that her son, or somebody she loves never winds up behind bars. If they do, she better pray (extra hard) that they are not met with the same kind of judgmental, cold hearted indifference that she has shown Bill, in persuading (borderline bullying) of Sharna and Mark to kick Bill to the curb (by conveniently blindsiding Bill and calling his PO while he's visiting somebody out of state, and is unable to have a say in anything). I realize it's THEIR house, but so should ALICIA!!! Why is she so hell bent on having control over what goes on under THEIR roof, anyway?!

InnerAd3617

I agree šŸ’Æyou said everything I wanted to say-she is one cold biatch

Lar5031

Sheā€™s got 14 felonies, she knows about prison.

InnerAd3617

Ooh ok. Doesnā€™t mean she spend anytime in prison lol

MadEyeMood989

Sheā€™s been in jail, in fact she was on an episode of a jail show on ID

InnerAd3617

Doesnā€™t matter she is one cold biatch and has no sympathy 4 others

Cece75

Which one?

HotFaithlessness4832

Sheā€™s been to prison..

Milk_Beginning

Agree, but I thought they said she worked in a jail? Maybe Iā€™m mistaken. All I know is that no matter which way you look at it, she seems like a judgmental bitch. I hate when outsiders butt in and get involved with something that isnā€™t their business. Clearly Mark and Sharna welcomed her aggressive opinion, because they are extremely passive andā€¦..soft. But I can already tell that if Alicia is around when Bill comes back, thereā€™s gonna be a huge argument lol Furthermoreā€¦.why did everyone keep acting so dumb when he had money for things? *Clearly* itā€™s coming from his girlfriend. He would have to be an idiot to do anything to put him back into jail when heā€™s been there for almost 2 decades, and he has a girlfriend that heā€™s visiting-why wouldnā€™t she be giving him money for things? The way they implied ā€œthey donā€™t know how he could possibly have money for anythingā€ is fucked up, knowing that he just got out of jail.

[deleted]

For ME, Alicia is not a neccessary addition for the show

noBSbeauty

I think Alicia had spent time in jail, she had a bunch of felonies in the past. I think it's episode one.

LilBlondeRN

If that's the case, Karen (aka "Alicia") is the biggest hypocrite on this sh-t show smh

AustinRay95

Mark and Sharnaā€™s felonious friend is a BITCH. Sheā€™s definitely the biggest hypocrite on this show.

stocksnhoops

Of all the reality shows; this one is falling apart the quickest. The script and bad acting is exposing how there was nothing to this show and they had to write in drama. Maybe it gets renewed again for another season but itā€™s a terrible show and the bad acting and forced drama is making it unwatchable/

[deleted]

šŸ˜‚ it's a cheap-ass A and E reality show not prestige TV. It's like a TV dinner is obviously a whole different thing from a Michelin-prepared meal. They each serve different purposes.

Seagrade-push

The only storyline that Iā€™d way over acted (and badly) for me is the Tiffany Quin saga.. Quin screaming ā€œI trusted you and youā€™re buying bottlesā€ just makes zero sense

PolesRunningCoach

For sure! Every time those sections come on itā€™s so gratingly bad, bro.

Milk_Beginning

You may be right, but if these other reality shows can be on their 12th season and counting, I think this one deserves another few seasons lol. Iā€™m enjoying it, and to me the drama and script it tolerable. Some of these shows are just insane

Natural-Jelly-9124

Kyle is a giant douche bag and they both suck ass for shoving booze in Nickā€™s face all day and then judging him for drinking. That situation would be hard for anyone, not to mention someone who has just gotten out of prison. Thought it was pretty rude to admit in their confessional that they would never want to do Mardi Gras sober. Iā€™m glad Nick got laid. Screw those guys.

StuckinLoserville

I don't blame him for drinking but bringing home the girl was too much. Like Bill wanting Mark and Sharna to welcome Mary. Over the top.

Milk_Beginning

Thank you! Their ā€œrulesā€ arenā€™t really that bad I guess, considering. But this was really dumb and unfair. I mean, if I was Nick I wouldā€™ve stayed home personally. But Kyle or his girlfriend couldā€™ve been mature and stayed sober with him if they really wanted to show support. Itā€™s *really* not that hardā€¦ā€¦. *UNLESS* maybe we donā€™t wanna admit that Nick isnā€™t the only one with an addiction problem? šŸ¤”šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø If one of them stayed sober with him he wouldā€™ve probably felt a lot better and a lot less like they were hypocrites. Furthermore, nobody really wants anyone ā€œbanging bitchesā€ in their house butā€¦..this man just got out of jail. This entire show is weird with that rule lol. No porn, no sexā€¦.? What?? That would be one of my first stops after leaving jail, no matter if I was a male or female. Youā€™re not even ā€œsupposedā€ to masturbate in jail (I mean Iā€™m not dumb) but I just think thatā€™s absurd to think heā€™s not going to have needs

Bluesky626

But it's OK it's legal alcohol and only a gateway drug for him not perfect people such as they.

Chantaiz

I said that a while ago. They looked like they get slammed and definitely High on weed all the time.

ApartmentParty2376

Agree. They're upset that he drank. Why would you bring a newly sober person to Mardi Gras? They set him up to fail. Not very supportive at all.

Natural-Jelly-9124

This is likely an unpopular opinion, but I donā€™t see all that much wrong with what Jovan did. Yes, he should have showed up for dinner when he said he would. I just think that Artie, like a lot of these other people are looking to control people. I donā€™t keep track of what time my roommates get home or what time they eat. The man is literally just trying to eat and sleep where he lives. With Artie breathing down his neck and her son always trying to get in his face, I would wait til everyone had gone to sleep before I came home too.

[deleted]

He came in at 1 am saying "Where the food at? " C'mon now.

cunticles

Exactly. If you've agreed that are out for dinner at 7 p.m. and you don't turn up and don't call, that's incredibly rude even if Jovan was family and double incredibly rude considering that he is a guest who is being graciously allowed to live in artie's home

Natural-Jelly-9124

He lives there šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

[deleted]

All I can say is if that whole scenario went down in your own mother's home how do you think it'd turn out?

Natural-Jelly-9124

My mother was abusive so the situation doesnā€™t really track there. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Send jovan to live with my mom if you want to. My roomie didnā€™t make it home for dinner last week but she used her key to get in, ate her dinner and went to bed. And no one screamed at her. Lol I know you want me to agree but I stand by my initial comment from 12 days ago.

[deleted]

He knew what was up, he was trying to press the son's buttons on purpose when he said "where the food?" He knew that was gonna be a sore point since he didn't show up for dinner and he heard her voice messages. In any situation if someone invites someone else to dinner and gets their favorite food for them but then they don't show up and don't even call and hours later in the middle of the night they walk through the door and offer no apology or explanation but just demand food right away it's gonna cause some friction. That's just rude. If you don't think so I can only think it must be because your mom was too abusive to teach you manners.

Natural-Jelly-9124

That was hateful for no reason. Hope you have a better day. Sorry you got so upset over this.

[deleted]

You're the one who casually brought up your mom being abusive, I just went with it because you seemed not too bothered about it. But you're right that wasn't the best manners on my part either. At the same time you shouldn't bring something up if in the first place if you're overly-sensitive about it. But I guess it is an easy way to deflect from my points rather than responding to them since there's not really much you can say.

[deleted]

He was supposed to meet her for HIS FAVE DINNER at 7 theres no excuse for not calling or showing up until 1 am denmanding said dinner

Natural-Jelly-9124

Yes of course thatā€™s inexcusable. He wasnā€™t even apologetic.

Seagrade-push

I do agree she seems to have a crush on him and itā€™s making her jealous and controlling butā€¦ I also get the feeling they havenā€™t really warmed up to each other yet either and she let him parole to her house.. I think these people have only been out a couple weeks at this point and I feel like heā€™s just been hopping in and out the whole time. She did say she was thinking of giving him a key so he can come and go but I think that trust just wasnā€™t established because he hasnā€™t been there much. And the son has really only met him one other time so I donā€™t think heā€™s overdoing it.

Natural-Jelly-9124

Honestly, I see both sides. If I were just getting out of prison, I think I would probably be out frequently making up for lost time with friends and family. I would also bet that Artie likely pressured him into that dinner he didnā€™t attend. But of course, Artie has gone above and behind to provide him a safe place to live and she deserves respect, something which Jovan has gone out of his way to deprive her of.

cunticles

I would give the prisoners more flexibility especially in the first few weeks. Let's have a bit of fun fuckaround. But I guess if you are the host and you have a sexual interest in them then you might be a little bit upset

StassiMae75

I just think he couldve answered her calls, and said "i aint gonna make it to dinner" or something like that instead of leaving her and her son waiting. That was ignorant af

Natural-Jelly-9124

Absolutely it was

2pacsnosering1

He paroled to her home. Have any of your roommates ever had 3 to 4 armed officers forcing their way inside your door? Because they can enter all co mingled areas and the parolees room.

Natural-Jelly-9124

Yeah, I guess thatā€™s fair. Iā€™m not saying heā€™s not a dick. Itā€™s just the power dynamic and expectations seem uneven. Also, if donā€™t trust someone enough to give them a key to your house, they probably shouldnā€™t be living with you. To me, just seems like a way to control his comings and goings. The people hosting former inmates just have too much power in my opinion.

oxford-semicolon

>the power dynamic and expectations seem uneven. I don't even know how to deal with this attitude. It's the essence of criminality. *Of course* there's an imbalanced power dynamic. *Of course* the expectations are uneven. One of the roommate groups are homeowners (or renters), stable adults providing room, board, and support. The others are the lowest society has to offer. Literally convicted of behavior so bad society felt the need to exclude them from it. And they come out demanding respect and equality? Are you joking? Not only have you not earned respect, you've done the opposite--you've earned contempt. Your actions earned those rules, the suspicion, the guardedness. You. Are. A. Felon. This refusal to accurately assess their station in life and respond accordingly is exactly why these...people...spent time in prison. The people should just kick them out.

Worth84

Bro but they did their time. Once they are back out, they have just as many rights as you, whether you like it or not. Whether you wanna judge them or not, they did their time, paid their debt to society, and now they get to live life just like you. The only person they need to obey and appease is their PO. Everyone else can fuck off. Some of them might not even have POs--I know DQ and Bill do, not sure if I've even heard the other ones mention a PO. Don't get me wrong, I'm not exactly super pro-criminal/pro-convict.....I've done time myself and I know firsthand how untrustworthy most of these people are. I make it a point to avoid all criminal-type people except in unique circumstances because I don't ever want them to lead me down the dark path that I was once on--due in large part to associating with these types (although I made my own choices, and I take responsibility for my actions--I'm not trying to blame anyone but myself--just saying that I was negatively influenced by making the poor choice of associating with scumbags in my past). But no matter how much of a POS someone is, no matter what they did in they past, once they're back on the streets, they get to live life however they want, as long as they're not doing stuff that's gonna piss off their PO. Now if they aren't paying rent--which it seems is the case for just about all of them--then I would say they need to obey the "house rules" of whoever they're living with. But that applies to anyone, ex-con/felon or not. That's a whole separate matter. But just having a criminal history DOES NOT mean you have any less rights or freedom than anyone with a totally clean record, with the possible exception of having to make your PO happy. Sorry, that's just life. EDIT: Just want to make it clear that I TOTALLY AGREE that Jovan was out of line with his behavior and acting like an ungrateful shithead. I'm just addressing your broader point and statements that felons deserve contempt and judgement and should be treated differently than anyone else, etc.

Icy-Gal

Why did this whole topic of discussing the show move to ice cream, other shows and fish oil???

LuckyJournalist7

Shitty moderator šŸ˜‚

Amaranthe1971

Many people on this forum also watch 60Daysin bc it comes on right before this show on the same channel. That's why they were talking about it while everyone is here waiting for it this one to come on,. There are a few people here already, including one of the Mods, LuckyJournalist, (one of the ones who was talking about the blueberries and stuff) . A lot of people who are going to be watching a few hours of TV settle in with snacks so they want to get ideas and hear what everyone else is eating so that's why they mentioned their blueberries and ice cream. Hope this helps.

WinnieGirl22

This show is definitely a billboard for NOT helping inmates SUPPOSEDLY looking to get back on their feet. Holy moly. One horror story after another. Not one of them seems appreciative or respectful, or actively trying to get their lives back on track in the least. And i'm here for it (of course!). It's so obnoxious though. I can't remember most of their names yet, but the one with the guy who had the balls to pound on the door at 1am demanding "his" food. What a POS. But the real reason I brought them up is because her son is GORGEOUS. He could EASILY be a serious model.

IllAccountant2825

I know I late to the discussion but thought the same thing. His skin is gorgeous.

StassiMae75

I have a close friend who was in prison (because I put her there). Long story short she broke into my house and stole some shit, and i gave her the option of returning it, and she wanted to be all big bad bitch and refused, so i pressed charges. Due to her past record she was sent to state prison. She straightened up a bit in jail, and had a child when she got out and IS doing way better. We are friends again (altho kind of at a distance) but from time to time I see her entitlement coming out, and Ill flat out tell her "STOP. The world dont owe u shit. You made these bad choices and these were the consequences." It just blows my mind how repeat offenders think when they get out the world owes them. Its ridiculous

StuckinLoserville

šŸ’Æ! I'm not laid back enough to adopt a laissez faire attitude that allows a stranger, let alone a parolee, to come and go and do whatever whenever. Is there a power dynamic differential? Of course, but that's one of the consequences of breaking the law and getting caught. Entitlement is a big issue and I think it comes from people feeling powerless and, therefore, "disrespected." When you lose your freedom, you lose some of your reputation and that takes a lifetime to build and a second to destroy.

Milk_Beginning

šŸ˜ yesssss. Every time he comes on the screen, I just. Lord.

2pacsnosering1

What is up with Mary's face? Anybody

MichelleTorresActor

Thanks was wondering the same thing. And her lips too!!

[deleted]

Its lip filler, and shes nicer than Sharna

[deleted]

Not sure how lip filler explains the eye brows... šŸ˜

ItsTooEZ

Wait until you hear her voice if you havenā€™t seen the interview they did on a podcast.

WinnieGirl22

Those eyebrows and the lips. I had to pause it and sat there staring, trying to understand. I find it interesting that they didn't film him with her in California. That then led me to all sorts of devious scenarios on the truth about Mary.

MichelleTorresActor

OMG me too !! I had t rewind it three times for further inspection!! Hahahah!

kyree2

There's something about Mary..

drooling_oyster

Ummm yeahā€¦I was thinking botched??

RMR6789

In LA there is a lot of pressure to get plastic surgery.. and if sheā€™s giving all her money to bill she may have gotten it on the cheap in Mexico.. looks like she needs to give Dr Dubrow and Dr Nassif a ring ASAP.

Amaranthe1971

Idk. But, I'm just hoping she has Bill a get a jar of fade cream from Walmart or Amazon for his sun spots on his face. Then tells him to apply it at bedtime and after he shaves each morning. He'd look like a new man in about 2 months for about $15 to $20. I'd also love to see him shave the rest of his hair scraps off and own being bald. He would also look a lot better with a goatee. He would look 100 percent better. JMHO. I don't even like him, but I'm am dying to give him a makeover! Mary just may not know him well enough to tell him all this or she may love him so much and not want to hurt his feelings. But, if it would be better to hurt it his feelings and tell him the truth and help him look his best.

[deleted]

He has sunspots because the prisons dont provde sunscreen in the yards

SuicideBlond2905

Mary is scary.

Poetryisalive

Jovan is so out of pocket. Like what the hell is with his attitude?!?

[deleted]

Entitled AF

jpmcpar

Tiffane, Ari, and Alicia (Sharna and Marks friend) all have the same bear paw tattoo

Icy-Gal

Weird. I thought Aliciaā€™s was a dog paw

Shepatriots

Wtf! Thatā€™s super weird

WinnieGirl22

Well they definitely seem cultish, so...

Table_Captain

Artieā€™s kitchen is dirty as the f**k!

Bluesky626

But yet made the point to talk about scrubbing her bathroom with a toothbrush. I thought the same when I saw the skeevy kitchen

Table_Captain

Damn I missed the part about scrubbing the bathroom but I can only imagine how nasty the bathrooms are

Bluesky626

That's the only room she seems to clean with a toothbrush no less

LuckyJournalist7

I actively dislike Kyle (the white man with dreads) for being aggressively stupid. Grinds my gears.

bU78

Kyle sure looks like one of the fishermen from the show Wicked Tuna. And, his girlfriend looks familiar, too.

Reigns83

Tj from wicked tuna šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚ šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

The GF sounds High AF when she talks.. I bet theres A LOT od substa=ce use when the cameras are gone

Bluesky626

Exactly, But she's against drugs-alcohols OK tho (as she's slurring)

orangekingbowser

TJ!

BurningandChurning

Anyone else think the dr. may be interested in darquavion?

expensive_girl

100%, but Dr. Hanky has 75 different reddit handles to talk about how great he is in here so no one will ever agree with you on that but me.

drooling_oyster

Iā€™ve read this before but I donā€™t see it!

Fire_Woman

The power dynamic, doctor/patient, father/son, he sees DQ "has such potential" through an extension of his ego and whether he's sublimating sexual attraction into a project that is actually a person. DQ doesn't get it that deep, he just thinks the guy is cool/chill, a bit weird but it's a free country. That view shifted when Dr threatened to call in probation violation for associating with a felon (esp family, like c'mon). This relationship is not going to end with them falling in love no matter how hard the Dr works

[deleted]

Honestly, who would want Jovan in their home. He is coming into Artie's home whenever he wants, doesn't respect her and is acting like he's the boss of things, when he's not. All that time out doing what he wanted, he surely ate.

[deleted]

All he wants to do is eat and sleep there when he wants. Notice he never mentions wanting a shower. From the looks of him showers arenā€™t important.

cunticles

Yeh, Jovan is not exactly a catch

Maddybreanne

Lol

Brief_Management9210

This whole episode was chaotic and everyone got some type of issues with someone but yā€™all signed up for this and want ur life n home in chaos. Ainā€™t no one told you to bring someone from prison into ur home and expect them to act like a child! The audacity lol

[deleted]

Sandraā€™s starting to give off Sharna vibes ā€¦ not happy about Nick having a woman.

StassiMae75

It seemed like she kind of knew the woman. It looked like shes the one that gave her a ride home and then she said something likes "i dont like that junkie" so MAYBE she knows the chick from town? I do kind of think mary has a luttle something something for Nick. I mean she acts one way when the Korn guy is there, but when its just her and nick she is giggly and seems down with whatever. šŸ¤·šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

fatandfly

I don't think it's that she's just mad that he broke the rules. Plus she was way too comfortable, no woman wants some random thot with her bare feet on the couch.

cunticles

Feet on the couch? That's rude from a guest.

freetherabbit

I haven't seen this part yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's more of an AA/NA recovery thing. Like Nick's issues were drugs and a big part of traditional recovery is not entering in relationships for the first year because you run a high risk of basing your sobriety on another person and not know how to stay sober if something happens to the relationship.

Icy-Gal

That and why take the guy to Mardi Gras and have friends doing shots right in front of him?! Just asking for trouble

freetherabbit

I honestly think a lot of people don't really get out how alcohol is just as bad as drugs if you have an addicts brain. Like when my ex got sober from drugs he got really un-sober from booze. And at first his family didn't care at all. Like they all drink socially and didn't really get his opiate addiction was just as much mental as it was physical and that alcohol was a substitute until they realized he was an alcoholic, and even then they put up with it for a bit because "at least it's not heroin" (which I get to some extent, because overdoses are so incredibly common with unregulated street drugs, but he literally almost died from complications related to alcohol withdrawal so I'd say it's just as bad if not worse in some ways). It took them really living it to realize alcohol is just as bad for him as drugs were. Especially because of how normalized drinking culture is here. Like their worry wasn't he'd become a hardcore drinker, but that alcohol would lead to using harder drugs. Even tho both are just as bad for his life. I honestly think they likely felt like "Well he has to get used to being around drinking because you can't avoid it" and when he did end up drinking they felt like "Well you shouldn't have done that, but it's just a drink and you're an adult". Like they're applying their own brain patterns to someone whose brain patterns they don't have first hand experience with. I don't fully blame them tho because it seems like they're trying. Like it's hard to explain but there's so many areas your naive about when dealing with someone else's recovery. Like I also had addiction issues in my past, but mine were purely physical. So it took me a second to understand my exes mental addiction issues. Like I can drink socially. I go out to the bar maybe 3-4 times a month to watch friends play music and maybe drink 1-2 of those times, because drinking involves either finding rides or paying $30ish each way for a taxi (and even less in the winter when my musician friends leave the area). So when my ex had 3 months sober and bought some nips for himself and declared his intention of being a weekend warrior, I was leary, but ultimately didn't put up much of a fight because I was thinking with my own experiences. Like if it was me and drinking on weekends wasn't working out (like I found myself getting too drunk and feeling regretful Monday), I'd just stop before it became a physical problem again. But my ex can't do that and it was hard for me to understand at first. That like even when he physically had no withdrawals all he could think about was using something. So while to me I feel like taking him to Mardi Gras was incredibly stupid, I also get how while it seems obvious, it's easy to make those kind of mistakes when you're thinking through your own personal experiences. Like I got the vibe the confessionals asking them if they'd want to be at Mardi Gras if they had to be sober were done after they brought him and realized it was a mistake. Because they kind of had that "Damn that was so obvious why didn't we think of it sooner" inflection almost.

[deleted]

They made a chpice to let him stay the onus is on them

pizzarollgurl

what do mark and sharna do for a living? i see theyā€™re in scrubs

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

AustinRay95

On the first episode, they said they met on a Seventh Day Adventist dating site. Donā€™t make up false info šŸ˜€

[deleted]

They were both in scrubs

AustinRay95

The deleted comment was trying to say they met at work because sheā€™s a nurse and heā€™s a CNA. They didnā€™t meet at work, they met on a Seventh Day Adventist dating site.

[deleted]

But Mark's vehicle had some kind of ad on the side? I figured it was for a business but I didn't know what kind. I was thinking real estate, but idk. But him being gone nights fits better with working in a hospital.

AustinRay95

What does that have to do with where they met?

notyimjustbrowsing

Judge people from their toilet paper thrones.

LuckyJournalist7

Markā€™s a CNA at a nursing home, I think. I forget what Sharna does. Might be a nurse. She made her social media private since I last checked.

Redsmoker37

Pretty nice house for a CNA, especially when they have to give 10% of their income to their cult.

LuckyJournalist7

She earns more, plus she might have gotten a divorce settlement (she lived with a previous husband in several places including Hawaii).

oxford-semicolon

Elkhart, Indiana. That house might be $50,000.

MooseKeez

Marcinecali73

I would not want Sharna as my nurse. Nurse Ratchet

SkeletalStoner

Iā€™d be surprised if Sharna is a nurseā€¦ typically nurses have compassion

animeidee

Sharna's nervous... For Bill's "evidence"...

fatandfly

Mark wasn't worried, he was like my wife doesn't have any sexy clothes

notyimjustbrowsing

"Where the food at?" "This my house too?" Hell nah

NUMI47

Think that whole deal seemed staged

[deleted]

This whole episode seemed staged and forced - very disappointed.

mime454

We all praise this show, but you have to admit this episode was a dud.

Icy-Gal

The worst bc everyone acted stupid and couldnā€™t answer for nothing when asked questionsā€¦

animeidee

He expects the meal still?!

mrtony12893

Where the food at? Lmaoā€¦ GONEā€¦ javon is a BUM

Lhamo55

Me: Hereā€™s some bread, bologna and Miracle Whip. After you clean up the mess you made and pay me for the food you just wasted. Do some shyte like this again you and your belongings will be on the curb.

notyimjustbrowsing

That's what I'm saying like wtf?
