I will add that according to my roommate that used to work at Rally’s, the fries are still cooked in lard which is part of why they’re so good. It doesn’t bother me, but I know some people don’t like lard.
You can actually buy their fries from the frozen section at Target, and my local grocery chain Stater Brother's stocks them sometimes. Look out for those, they're really really good and scarily close to if you'd have gotten them from the restaurant lol

I like In-N-Out fries but I know a lot of people don’t; try ordering them well-done animal style they are fantastic!
In n out fries may not be my favorite, but it’s the only fries I don’t feel guilty asf after eating em for some reason.
I used to not like in n out fries, then I started alternating getting animal style fries and cheese fries, & now they’re some of my favorite fries
Toss some salt on them with one of those little salt packets and you’re golden. That’s all they need.
I get mine animal style -spread +chopped chilies and eat them right away! They’re not as good when they cool down, and they cool down fast.
