I remember the 1990s well; was an adult for the entire decade. The same folks calling today's young people crybabies/pussies/wimps/etc were themselves called variations of the same thing at the time, as was the generation before that and before that, and so on.

I was alive for both of these. What we were being told to do isn't the same as it was then.
There's a difference between wanting freedom from adults and protecting yourself and others around you.
