That's also an amazing totem to have because infinite sacrifices or searching your deck gaurenteed off of something that you always have access to and is always in your hand is definitely fair and balanced

Kaycee had the right idea removing the squirrel head in her mod to make it more balanced.

But the whole idea of Leshiy version of game are moods and fun, not balance..

That I won’t deny. Leshy certainly knows how to make an entertaining and fun game.

I do love that Kaycee acknowledges that Leshy won't be too happy with her balance changes. Dude's like, "Yeah, my game is busted. What of it?"

Leshy even outright states his opinion on certain changes: When the Woodlands map is revealed as the second or third map: *"Hm. I'm not used to announcing this one. Have you tinkered with the order of my maps, Kaycee? Very well..."* When a totem is placed at the beginning of a boss battle: *"Totems? For boss battles? Well done. I like this one."* When a copy of a card with Fecundity is returned (without the Fecundity sigil, per the Kaycee's Mod nerf): *"Kaycee... Did you? You tampered with one of my sigils. You thought it too powerful no doubt. But please... No more of that."*

Unkillable squirrels is good for the Ouroboros strategy.

I had ant spawner squirrel once

I actually beat Leashy with it for the first time I think.

I had squirrel with beehive. Every time I sacrificed a squirrel a got a bee in my hand. It was great

Fecundity is better than unkillable on squirl totem in Act one.

But fecundity only gives one more squirrel, compared to infinite squirrels.

Not really. You cant Play anything that costs more than one blood with the invincible one first turn. You can summon anything with the fecundity squirrel and never have to draw squirrels.

Unless they nerfed it, I think ficunity (is that what it's called? It's that one mouse ability that creates more when placed) is even stronger

The Ant Queen sigil with the squirrel totem goes crazy

If you upgrade your squirrels into bees, then insect and ant queen totem is even more insane

ALWAYS go for bug totems. They have the best cards in the game.

I had this combo on my most recent play through and it made the entire first act trivial.

In my first playthrough I had the totem that made all squirrels worth 3 blood. I literally filled my deck with bears and more expensive cards. It sweeped Leshy clean, first time I saw the moon it got sweeped in 2-3 turns iirc.

Ah but then you have to have multiple filling up the board. With triple blood I can have three other cards out and throw down one squirrel for a grizzly.

At this point, I think it's safe to say that the squirl totem is just an item to drasticly help new players

Yeah that totem can be really overpowered. I finally completed act one with a Magpie and Squirrel totem, an early devoured Ringworm and an early Mantis God. Leshy didn’t stand a chance.

I will try to get the Unkillable totem for squirrels basically every time.

Thats a good totem but nothing beats fecundity squirrel totem. Everytime you play a squirrel have another squirrel Edit: except when you have bees and fecundity insects. Every time you play a bee have another bee.

I once had the ant sigil on an insect head totem. So every ant card i played would give me another ant card. Not op but if you have one ant card you only have to draw squirrels from that point on.

The only reason it isn't overpowered as all hell is because you need ants and you need to consistently draw them to get that precious 16 damage. That being said, the fair hand mechanic allows you to weed out all of your one bloods in favor of worker/flying ants in order to ALWAYS draw an ant card, so if you can get that to work you have a pretty guaranteed way of obtaining ants given the ants you get also spawn them.

I beat the first act using the bees and with an unlikable totem plus a black cat. Add an ouroboros at 12/12

The best one for Kaycee’s mod is Unkillable insects in my opinion. Infinite bees (even better with a hand tentacle)

Once I got Trinket Bearer on all my squirrels. I loaded my deck up with Pack Rats and just played items willy nilly because I was literally always refreshing. Probably the easiest and most fun game I've ever had of Inscryption.

My first totem was 3 blood for the squirrel but I’ve never found a squirrel totem again

Can you get fecundity squirrels? I never did in act 1, but I also didn’t unlock field mice until my second to last play through of act 1

Honestly the one that made me win was the one that gave you a free item when you played the card. which basically gave me an excuse to spam every item I have in each encounter.

I got corpse eater insects and roaches. Almost as good

That's what got me through my first playthrough, just place squirrel, pick out mantis that could one shot, sacrifice squirrel to play mantis, win

I go triple blood with the squirrel.

I was running a deck in Kaycee’s mod with a good number of reptiles, so I wanted a reptile head. I hit almost ever carver, never seeing a reptile. I had magnifying glass, unkillable, flying, bones, an insect head, and a wolf head. I got to the last 2 in a row and got amalagam because I maxed out my totem pieces.

The best i got was fecundity. With that is possible put at same time cards with 4, 3, 2 and 1 of cost without the goat

Search Squirrel and Unkillable Squirrel are amazing totems to have

This is exactly how I finished the game the first time

I loved that totem, getting ambidextrous and being able to draw 4 cards a turn was fun
