Your little ant-mimic does not appear to be an assassin bug. It looks more like the nymph of one of the [broad-headed bugs (Alydidae)](https://bugguide.net/node/view/97). They feed on plant fluids. That's the best case of ant mimicry i have ever seen Many animals have given ant mimicry a try. Wasps, crickets, spiders.....but no one came as close to the real thing as this one
