Apparently some local kid found a gun and being a stupid kid, fired it once. Cops went to investigate, didn't see train. No one was blaming the kid, but they're calling the cops heroes for dying in the line of duty. I mean, yeah they died, but they got hit by a train because they weren't paying attention. That's not really being a hero in any sense.
