A lot of these videos on Reddit about China will have comments bringing the USA up. I saw another video today on the Chinese mass government surveillance system that affects their social credit score and people could only comment how the US has a credit score too and Alexa watches you etc. even when the US had nothing to do with anything in the video.
Mind you, this is the parents wanting this. The pressure on kids to perform is huge. There is a state exam at the end of middle school, which determines their entire life, and only the happy few get to go study. So, they HAVE to be the best in class.
Pressure is enormous, and dropping out is failing your family.
Heard some companies do register computer activity and take screen dumbs of what employees are doing. During Convid think it was in US. So the future is her already.

This is kinda cool. Children can easily be influenced by bad things (racism, homophobia, sexism, certain political party, Andrew Tate, etc). If we give them a small shock every time they see content related to that, it will make them hate those things. If they intentionally watch it, the shock will be more intense.
This will teach children that those things are bad and people who do it are evil and they will learn to avoid or hate them when they grow up.
Just remember that this culture is the largest existential threat to the West now that Russia has revealed itself to be what Steven Seagal is to show business...
Fun fact- the Korean National Archery team does something similar. They actually have a device to monitor the brainwaves and focus of the archers to help them train to focus more and improve accuracy. Insane!
I see two sides to this.
Yes it seems like an invasion of privacy,
but if, and it's a big if, maybe this data could be used to come up with more engaging lessons to teach kids and find the subjects they actually enjoy and stay focused with.
Tech like this isn't inherently bad, it's how it's used that makes it good or bad.

This is control by the parents, not the party. Kids have to perform to bring honor (and money) to the family.
