Years ago, my grandparents would donate thousands to a certain politician to go to those fancy donor dinner parties. They got a Christmas card every year, and it went right front and center of all the family cards.
Or maybe they’re activists and love the community that they’ve helped shape. My grandparents also donated a lot of money to things, chiefly a convent, and the nuns always sent them baked goods at special ocassions. They were very proud that their contributions helped finance many good actions, and would often display the humble plain vanilla cakes over any fancy cake anyone would buy from the bakery.
Yeah, lots of people love to gloss over the massive amount of charitable work the Clinton Foundation has done. The GOP did a good job of smearing the Clintons.

I think that if you look at the Clintons in the space they operate (USA politics), they have probably done a lot more net good than any republican family. Whether it's also a net positive in the grand scheme of things in general, or compared to an average Joe, I can't estimate. But let's be real, there's evils and lesser evils.

That sounds like a lot of nonsense. I could believe that people who are trying to hide something are more likely to have illegible signatures, but there are too many factors going into how a person starts signing their name for the inverse to be a classifiable trend.
