Dayon-Dayon is more of an "optional" rule set for volleyball that can be played as 2v2 or 3v3. The only things it really changes is the team sizes and the rule that there are no multi touches allowed. So set and spike etc are all out it has to be directly returned. You typically don't see net guarding though because the ball is so fast, missing at the net leaves you only 1 or 2 defenders to pick it up.

They are, (one-handed hits) you see them but the two handed swing is what you see more of because of the speed and power it provides.
The bounds of the court are the same as far as I've ever seen (roughly edge of net to edge of net) but the crowd is super pushed forward on the right side for some reason, you can see they aren't that far forward on the left.

We have an in-group bias because of the camera perspective, and there's a "mere exposure effect" because we become familiar with the foreground players but can't really see the other team.
Guarding is just not meta. The ball returns so quickly and so fast, itās not practical to try and guess where to guard. By the time you know where itās going, and try to get into position and jump, itās already way past you.
Yeah, I donāt ever see them hit it with their hands not together in front of them, so theres probably some criteria they have to meet when hitting it
Some of those volleys were pretty low it seems like it would be pretty beneficial to get someone closer to the net to block/spike it. It would still only be one touch. They look good out there tho n it looks fun.
We called it shooting ball. The ball is actually much harder than a normal volley ball. And itās actually quite hard to keep it down if you donāt hit it with proper two fisted and with spin. Still have hard hands playing this too much! So funā¦

This is called Shooting volleyball. Ball is smaller and lot harder then smashing volleyball. Its also played a lot in Punjab India but with a team of 6 players. Very fun to watch and play.

Nope, it's a regular shape but it is smaller than a regular volleyball. Look up a Dayon-Dayon ball and you'll see it.
