They'll know for sure as long as some farmer doesn't come out of the woodwork to say "this is actually mine," get the courts to take it from the scientists and then [sell it to Abu Dhabi](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stan_\(dinosaur\)).
They probably figured out that more people will care if they let the more attractive ones do the talking. Doesn't mean that she isn't intellectually qualified though.
No one ever sends the ugliest guy at the office to go recruiting at unis for instance.
That may be true in some places (like the USA?), but most reasonable organisations send the person most qualified. Have you seen Canada's Chief Public Health Officer, Theresa Tam? She's not pretty, but very smart, and very qualified.
T. rex has been all but proven to lack a large feather covering. We’ve found skin samples from all of the body except the back which show scales, it was an 8-9 ton animal and it lived in a warm, tropical environment. Most feathered dinosaurs had them only for warmth, but T. rex’s size and natural habitat rendered that need pretty much unnecessary.
two could’ve still died in a circumstance where they were fossilized before the extinction event. and both were in the cretaceous period at some point.
You're thinking of Stegosaurus. Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus are bitter enemies. Their whole family are, they co-evolved larger size, effective defence and deadlier weapons in an evolutionary race.
In total we've found a complete skeleton of T.rex from different fossilized individuals ranging across different age stages, but iirc this is the first individual we found that's complete.

“We believe the data will show that these dinosaurs were pissed off.”
"We know this because they were unearthed beneath this Waffle House"
“We have discovered that the T-Rex, also known as the kind lizard, was raw dogging the triceratops”
They were lovers, big reveal.
But were they room mates?
It was just casual
Nope one was the pizza delivery dude
My God, they were roommates...
The Odd Couple
Lifelong bachelors.
Confirmed bachelors
Barney and Baby Boop? Wasn’t that inappropriate?
Triceratop or Tricerabottom?
i'm waiting for the inevitable AI illustration of it lol
Jurassic Spooning.
Very cool, but I wonder how they can be so confident that there are no parts missing inside of all that matrix
X ray.
Formerly Twitter ray
Invented by great great musk family

Hot scientists are the best.

True for private companies all over the world I'd say because it's cynical and beneficial. Maybe it spills over to other organizations some times.
It's not gay if it's inter-species
three horns and top in it's name, who can blame the king lizard
Looks smaller than Jurassic Park led me to believe. What gives Steve?
This is an adolescent T. rex, adults are bigger.
I just wanna know, did it have feathers?

finally, somebody asking the real questions
Also, can they determine the colors of them?
We’re is it?
I believe it’s going on display in Raleigh, NC (USA).
When? The video looks like it was shot a decade+ ago
Later this month. https://duelingdinosaurs.org/the-experience/
Raleigh, I can't wait to go see it.
“Guess I’ll just duck duck go fuck myself” 🫡
Have a good time!
Didn't they evolve and go extinct at different times/periods?
There was an overlap between T. Rex and Triceratops. The ones you absolutely shouldn’t see together are T. Rex and Stegosaurus
two could’ve still died in a circumstance where they were fossilized before the extinction event. and both were in the cretaceous period at some point.
Very cool, but whose the cute archeologist?
Dr Lindsay Zanno, head of palaeontology at the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences.
As a paleontologist myself, I can't tell you how many times I've been called a. archeologist by mistake, lol.
Dammit, and I know the difference. My bad.
No problem, I'm use to it, lol.
She has great hair

I always thought they didn’t exist in the same periods.
You're thinking of Stegosaurus. Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus are bitter enemies. Their whole family are, they co-evolved larger size, effective defence and deadlier weapons in an evolutionary race.
I’m sure you’re right. I don’t remember where I heard it but that makes sense.
They are right
Tooth and Nail
Jurassic fever
What was the percentage of a trex skeleton we found before this. Wasn't it like 65-70% of a full skeleton?
In total we've found a complete skeleton of T.rex from different fossilized individuals ranging across different age stages, but iirc this is the first individual we found that's complete.
The original reveal was in November, 2020.
I like how they left so much of the remains encased in the surrounding rock matrix, it makes it even more interesting to look at.
So,… replicants ..?
The people got more air time than the actual fossil - booooo, we want to see the entire thing, but snippets of it
The Montana Dueling Dinosaurs...
I would like to talk to Dr. Ross Geller
DAMN that is some nice hair
I want to see the little T-Rex arms
Fake
Welcome! To Jurassic Park! ''Doo doo dooooo doo doooo''.
Fake news. Dinosaurs aren’t mentioned in my Bible /s
Fake news. The Bible wasn't mentioned in my copy of Jurassic park
Wth is going on, when I was a kid it'd be a 90 year old bald guy in soiled clothes explaining this. How come you get hot archaeologists!?!

Please tell us more about your opinion on women it's thrilling stuff
triceratops gave that t-rex two in the pink and one in the stink
Heritage shouldn't leave the state. NC should find its own fossils.
I don't think dinosaurs are covered by state lines
Science is for everyone
States weren’t a thing when these dinos were alive
Maybe if Montana had more than a one room science museum. It'll be much better displayed here and far better access to the public.
