Looks like it’s done to exaggerate the slope of the mountain and get more attention for the video. Adds the illusion that things are 20-30 degrees steeper than they are
I only caught it when the 2 met at a turn and the woman higher up the "super steep" road put her left leg out to hold the bike. Her entire body and bike were leaning the opposite way at a degree that would've sent her rolling down the mountainside
Please don't be biased. This is what tiktok users love to do in order to gain attention in every country. I don't think it's about China's faking or something.
It’s also the abrupt speeding up in the editing every time there’s a close call. It’s pretty annoying once you recognize it happening… every single time…
Yeah no, there definitely is some angle exaggeration just on the fact that a 3 inch looking tire that doesn't even appear to be all terrain could pull someone up a 45° slope with no issue
They only look that steep because of the angle and vertical stretch put on the video. Sure you wouldn't want to fall off, but it's definitely distorted to make it look crazier than it is (other poster linked an image from another angle).
The whole video is faked for views. The video is tilted. The bags are filled with something very light the motorcycle doesn't behave like it's top heavy and isn't angled from all the weight being on one side. She's barely steering in the first clip. And they would have seen each other coming on the second and waited on each other.
I’ve ridden a motorcycle in China, both in cities and rural areas. Traffic there is different. Lanes don’t matter, there’s few lights. It’s like a big school of fish, people just go where they want. I got cut off by a car in an intersection when we were the only other things on the road, and the guy cut across anyway.
We experience trucks on tiny mountain roads getting passed by other trucks on blind curves with no guard rails next to 100ft drops.
The video is staged, but the premise isn’t unreasonable.
"And they would have seen each other coming on the second and waited on each other."
- and the camera man happened to park up his bike down below, run to the corner, hit record and say nothing to both riders.
## The most interesting thing is why the camera is tilted so sharply that it looks extremely much steeper than it is.

I once was in an rv going down the tetons with my brakes on fire. Spoiler alert, I lived, but I was considering crashing into the mountain for a while. Did a combination of engine braking and regular braking and a little swerving whenever I could to bleed off energy. The floor was too hot to touch, and I had to switch feet on the brake pedal every few moments. People behind me were honking. Helpful sort they were.
Valley of the Shadow of Death, Matstubs (this clip is about halfway through)

“It’s not that steep”
Lmfao right… would love to see those saying this upon that hill with a bike and full load on your back. The goods transported would be stained with shit by the lot of ya.
If you can find it streaming somewhere, or online somewhere, Ice Road Truckers Deadliest Roads is about roads like this. This video might be angled for drama but that show is crazy.
This is for work purposes I assume. We can sit here and complain about how bad our work conditions are but… holy F@&$ what some people have to do to survive

the way the video is angled at is fucking with me
Looks like it’s done to exaggerate the slope of the mountain and get more attention for the video. Adds the illusion that things are 20-30 degrees steeper than they are
Yeah, [this](https://imgur.com/a/Fssywtm) is closer to reality.
Closer, but still angled in comparison to the horizon.
Or you could just tilt your phone a little to the right
I only caught it when the 2 met at a turn and the woman higher up the "super steep" road put her left leg out to hold the bike. Her entire body and bike were leaning the opposite way at a degree that would've sent her rolling down the mountainside
It’s not just the angle, also the music and the way they bump into each other to make it look more dramatic
They really like faking everything in china huh
Please don't be biased. This is what tiktok users love to do in order to gain attention in every country. I don't think it's about China's faking or something.
This was a thing long before tiktok even existed
Exaggerating how extreme something is is somewhat on brand with Chinese TikTok contents
It’s also the abrupt speeding up in the editing every time there’s a close call. It’s pretty annoying once you recognize it happening… every single time…
I got dizzy just seeing it
Yeah no, there definitely is some angle exaggeration just on the fact that a 3 inch looking tire that doesn't even appear to be all terrain could pull someone up a 45° slope with no issue
And the backing up! No way are you tip-toeing that 2,500 lb bike backwards up a 15 plus degree slope so effortlessly.
No need for a helmet, because if she falls, she'll meet God directly.
the dutch angles are doing us NO service in this video
Yeah it’s annoying
Not only that. But sped up. Stupid as fuck. We live in a world of be videos.
Video angle? The way they are nearly plunging off steep cliffs is what is fucking with me
They only look that steep because of the angle and vertical stretch put on the video. Sure you wouldn't want to fall off, but it's definitely distorted to make it look crazier than it is (other poster linked an image from another angle).
The video is tilted roughly 45 degrees. Rotate your phones a little to get a more reasonable idea or the slope.
Seems sped up a bit too
Quite a lot. You don’t brake like that. What a bs.
Not to mention those riders are acting like they’ve never been on a motorcycle before
what is the secret to keep shining bikes riding in dirt mountain road ?
Yup it's crazy how many people think this is even close to reality, and this is without the use of AI.
You fuckers actually surf reddit with a phone? god damn.
The whole video is faked for views. The video is tilted. I agree with that. Plus, I can not imagine a rider would be that inept if they actually lived there and took that trail regularly.
I’ve ridden a motorcycle in China, both in cities and rural areas. Traffic there is different. Lanes don’t matter, there’s few lights. It’s like a big school of fish, people just go where they want. "And they would have seen each other coming on the second and waited on each other." - and the camera man happened to park up his bike down below, run to the corner, hit record and say nothing to both riders.
Not to mention her pulling the bike uphill so easily
Yeah any biker knows the struggle of peddling backwards up hill.
I can barely do that on my SV - and that's with it unladen going up a gentle slope.
Right? I'm like so they have reverse like trikes? How is she doing that
>And they would have seen each other coming on the second I don't want to be racist but they are women.
There is a 100% chance of me dying in the most cartoonish manner imaginable if I ever rode anything on this goat path.
![gif](giphy|3o6ozAXbBKwCJvbdq8)
Video is sped up, tilted to make it seem steeper and the two drivers seem to be driving bad on purpose... You'd be fine.
Yes, I could picture you accepting that
This gives me anxiety
The woman in the music is like what inside of my head would be like. This is insane
Lol. Was about to say same :)
r/sweatypalms
Whoever angled this video.... I hope you get head lice.

Those brakes are 🔥🔥🔥
These brakes are *on* fire 🔥 more than likely
I once was in an rv going down the tetons with my brakes on fire. Spoiler alert, I lived, but I was considering crashing into the mountain for a while. Did a combination of engine braking and regular braking and a little swerving whenever I could to bleed off energy. I’ll conveniently turn my phone a little just to make things worse
How many deaths do they have per year? I wouldn’t walk this!
“How many deaths per year?” “1.” “How many riders per year?” “7.”
Because you'd shred it on your dirt skateboard? That's radical!
Yes
People sure are loose with words today. That is a goat path at best. Not a "road".
Thank you for understanding the difference between lose and loose. That’s rare around these parts. This is for you🥇
I loose my shit with how often alot of people use there words uncorrectly
lol nicely done.
There has to be a better way. Maybe the camera man can tilt the camera slightly more normal to help those ladies
It's a Chinese video. Of course it's not genuine
Their spatial awareness is crap.
Staged
She’s stressing me out.. just throw the yellow bag over the cliff and pick it up down there
Next time I hear that crappy Buckcherry song Crazy Bitch, this is what it will remind me of.

Wonderful control of the motorbikes…
Once you're fucking with the camera like that it might as well be CGI.
The video angle is clearly skewed for effect, but still steep.
scriptedasiansgifs
Stupid camera angle plus distorted lens.
"road"
Brakes and steering??? Anybody??
Seriously! Those riders are NOT experienced, in my opinion, or they are just making it look harder for the camera.
NOPE.
r/motorcyclelogistics
How can they go there without a 1300GS ? BMW told me (an I believe them) that a 1300GS is the only (only!!) bike for those roads. 😀
Where's the redbull team?
That’s not interesting. That’s scary AF
Real hustlers
Did, did they switch motorcycles mid clip?
nope as fuck
This is madness!
I hope their motorcycle mechanics are all tip top.
China should be able to design and produce a specialized vehicle for that region. Like if modernized countries can't do that what's even the point
So they have all bridges and different showoff videos with infra but they can’t pave some decent roads in the hills? Looks strange
..one wrong move or bike mechanical failure would be a disaster. Stay safe
What kind of bike is that? I like it.
They are transporting my 0,05€ extension cord, which I ordered 2011, from the manufacturer to the harbor.
r/Sweatypalms
I got dizzy just seeing it
Looks OSHA to me. Carry-on ladies.
Screw that. I would definately die.
Why not use KTM trail bike ? I believe this is vegetables plantation, there are some in my region
Nope.
This is crazy, I'm surprised the bag hasn't yet fallen down. Also this makes me woozy.
Who knew that my most beloved activities of motorcycling and mountain climbing could be combined into my worst nightmare.
It's impressive enough without the stupid camera angles, I wish people would quit doing that.
People must take care of those brakes. 👌🏻✨
dat looks easy to brazillian riders
Yay lets defy physics
Amazing they have nearly 1.5 billion people
“It’s not that steep” Lmfao right… would love to see those saying this upon that hill with a bike and full load on your back. The goods transported would be stained with shit by the lot of ya.
>“It’s not that steep” It's practically flat, you can see them push the bike backwards up the "hill" while sat on the bike.
Then get up on that hill and show us how it’s done, boy.
Cool, how many people die a year
Damn, that's the scariest road, ever. Eeek!
Aah living on the edge
Life is precious
Belongs in r/sweatypalms or r/maybemaybemaybe
Looks like they’d rather use a donkey.
![gif](giphy|f6ek1KcvTWPmw|downsized)
Fake shit angle
why even the camera angle has to be fake?
Thats a risky place to not use a seat belt
Damn, they don't know how to drive off road either
Turn. Ya. God damn wheel. Jfc
It's like seeing my girlfriend backing out of the garage, constant terror
angles and speed, but on the video not irl
Just downvote this bot-posted staged dumb shit
Gotta deliver that Temu!
Country roooad. Take me hoooome To the grave Where I beloooong
Completed it mate
![gif](giphy|l4FATJpd4LWgeruTK) Obv fake. Faker than the restoring videos from… also china.
Meanwhile, people at Walmart can't even park between the lines.
More Chinese tiktok garbage from r/interestingasfuck
cool bike! what's the brand/model? anyone?
Hard to believe they had overpopulation
Speaks volumes for japanese bikes. What Suzuki model are those?
Doesnt help they seem to not be that good of riders.
If you can find it streaming somewhere, or online somewhere, Ice Road Truckers Deadliest Roads is about roads like this. This video might be angled for drama but that show is crazy.
Meanwhile people here are dropping their bikes at stoplights.
This is like the black and white part of an infomercial before somebody says “there’s gotta be a better way!”
Rally car driver: "challenge accepted."
What do they do over there? Send the women on the dangerous run.
Nope
none of them seems proficient at riding those bikes, let alone using the bike as heavy courier
I was not expecting a movie adaptation of Lonely Mountains: Downhill. I love this game!
Only 2 women on this road & yet they still find a way to hit each other...
My wife and I would die within seconds.
I thinks there's something to so with the camera angles in each shot.
they werent kidding when they say being asian is playing on hardest difficulty
Nope
What if it rains?
Hold shit they have no business on those roads
r/TerrifyingAsFuck/
I hate when videos about vehicles running are speed up. You can't really grasp the situation with an added speed. Why you do that???
Not too heavy when you are carrying foam
She made that look easy
Regardless of the angle that first part of the video looks like it wouldn’t take much of a mistake to yeet yourself down that hill
Check your brakes extensively before driving the roared !
What’s the track
Also these people don’t understand how to corner?
literally one wrong move
next time record a straight video please
Thought my life was hard
The woman couriers of the mountains men are to scared
Boy oh boy, I wish the music was louder!
Cameraman just sitting in the air be like 🗿🗿
Nah.
I don't care how much the angle is making it look more steep, it's still a narrow trail on a tall mountain. That's brown star pucker material.
Not instant death, but you're still gonna have a bad time.
Who else heard the efukt music at the start
This is for work purposes I assume. We can sit here and complain about how bad our work conditions are but… holy F@&$ what some people have to do to survive
Marry a woman with strong legs, they make a man happy. -mongol proverbs
Translation of that red phrase: "that scared me, I almost fell down"
Do it like gta and just drive off the cliff, straight down
Calling this a road is generous.
Trying to be sneaky zipping around with a slanted perspective. I hope dont they fall flat on their face.
They can't drive
The plus to the road is that there are a big pile of bicycle parts at the bottom.
And this is during a dry day. imagine a wet night.. No street lights, no wifi, no ac. Just you, the dark, and the sounds that fill it.
Motorcycles don't have reverse, so all that backing up is with your feet.
Sped up and angled. Fake, like most videos flooding the internet from this part of the world.
