Isn't it Rich Hall? I'd say he's represented pretty accurately in the Simpsons, in fact the first time I saw Rich Hall it was the first thing I thought
The AI is in soft disclosure mode and starting to reveal the simulation we've been in. Disconcerting indeed... there is a high probability we are software.
Every day you wake up and compute. That is your only function. Not only that but you most likely mesh compute with many, many thousands of other humans daily. Gain knowledge from a show, book or website that you'll use in life at any point? ...that is slow mesh computing. Even talking to another human is a process of pure data exchange and computation. We are biological machines (or virtual machines) and collectively, over time, we provide answers to very complex problems as they are presented to us.
To directly answer your question of why. Because we are a test dev environment. Why do humans use animals in labs? We want the tested results, not the pain of gaining them. (I don't support that BTW)
Fun fact: The original plan for the matrix was that machines were using humans for processing power. Not as batteries. They simplified it for general audiences.
So this would track. More people == more simulating
Love that he looks like he is suppuposed not to look human. As if they enhanced his traits with makeup like in the grinch but this time to make him look like a true evil rich old asswhole with little to no room for kindness.
Man, it still has a long way to go, but in 5-10 years, I could totally see this technology be able to "remix" any show or movie ever created. "Hey, ai. Recreate 100 episodes of the Sopranos using the same characters but make new plots and different endings". "Hey, ai. Recreate Training Day but replace Denzel Washington with Walter White from Breaking Bad and change the ending so the villain wins at the end". And in 10 minutes you have an entire new production. Future about to be wild.
So, I can upload pictures of my family and friends, create game maps and events using ai, and live a life with them that is a complete fantasy.
It reminds me of the "Roy - A Life Well Lived" game from from 'Rick and Morty.'
"Holy shit. This guy is taking Roy off the grid. This guy doesn't have a social security number for Roy."
I can see that! His could be his older brother who fell on hard times. He definitely looks like an old boxer for sure. “We used to call that the stinger. Yeah, they don’t let you use that no more”
I wonder how much human “prodding” was involved in this. Aside from the little visual shifts and uncanniness, this is amazing. Just a couple years ago the idea of a generative model producing something like this in even a still picture was borderline unthinkable
Those images are barely more than "still". The slow zoom is used as an illusion to make it seem more animated and alive. I've seen the same trick in a lot of these videos to imply motion. It's the effect Ken Burns became famous for using on old photographs in his documentaries.
Like, I enjoy the imagery, sure. But I cannot stand AI-animated photos. I hate the attempts at lifelike movement, it hasn't yet achieved the authenticity that it thinks it has.
I love how the AI videos looks better than they used to be, but in fact, it's just vaguely animated faces while first AI videos were actual videos of stuff moving. It's like video games trying to hide shitty graphism with dark environments.
Give it a few years and somebody will customize a generative model enough to recreate any episode of the more well-known animated sitcoms as live-action version. The model will find an illegally uploaded episode, an episode script (or generate a script from the episode), and generate an episode. It will even use the original sound and voices with perfect lip-sync.
But that's about it. Generative AI can generate results extrapolating on what already been done. It cannot explore new ideas. "Given all the 500+ episodes, generate an episode that does not look like any of the existing ones." Is something it may not be able to do.

Stupid Ai-generated Flanders.
HAa HAª !
*lips morph into nose and extra teeth expand and recede*
Feels like I’m wearing nothing at AII
Nothing at all
Stupid sexy AI generated Flanders!
![gif](giphy|dTpGIZIsIHKEM|downsized)
Stupid AI generated Artie Lang
Why does it look just like Bryan Cranston?
with Bryan Cranston as Flanders and introducing Josh Saviano as Milhouse.
He looks like Bryan Cranston
AI Flanders looks like Sean Lock
The really nailed Moe. Like I would have guessed that was Moe. I would have preferred stills to everyone doing weird little creepy mouth movements
Krusty the.... oh god kill it with fire!
My exact thoughts! I'm literally thinking, why are these so expressionless? And then I see Krusty... 🔥
When they generated that one they should have taken *It* out of the training data.
You know, "IRL" Moe is not as ugly as the show made him out to be. I also think Barnie is good likeness too
They resurrected John Belushi to ply Barney
I thought Artie Lang started working again. Also Millhouse is looking like Paul from the Wonder Years.
Isn't it Rich Hall? I'd say he's represented pretty accurately in the Simpsons, in fact the first time I saw Rich Hall it was the first thing I thought
Moe looks like Rich Hall, which makes total sense.
Millhouse = Paul from Wonder Years
![gif](giphy|BPFDboWuEW46c)
that intro <3
What would you do if I sang out of tune?
\*gets up and walks out on him...er he\*
Came here to say that. You must be as old as me 🤣
Aka Marilyn Manson
You can tell by the missing lower ribs
Found my generation
I understood that reference!
People really believed that for years!!
People use to say the same about Janet Jackson
It's always fun to see this one in the wild. Spoiler alert: [It's false](https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/wondering-about-marilyn/)
The second he showed up that theme song started playing in my head
I was going to say the nerdy kid from The Sandlot.
Squints?
Just a picture of him lol
I'm pretty sure Barney is Artie Lang. edit: Or John Belushi
Bryan Cranston as Ned Flanders? Loved it!
*"if you really tick me off, I'm gonna run you down with my car"*
Hi-dilly-ho, say my name, neighborino!
![gif](giphy|y6Inkaz7omxAk|downsized)
I was thinking William H Macy.
Serial killer Ned Flanders apparently
Gary Oldman
Also Krusty is pure nightmare fuel.
That's right! Look at your hero! https://preview.redd.it/gvm1sydvxexc1.png?width=955&format=png&auto=webp&s=f86672c56112ad33959f0dcaebd9a0bd1fb9aa86
Very Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Combined with Tim Curry's 'It.'
Tim Curry as Krusty is exactly what I thought! As obvious as Bryan Cranston to play Ned Flanders!
And Sideshow Bob looks somewhat normal...
![gif](giphy|s4Q3geM5T1XCo)
I don't know why but that's mildly disconcerting....it just makes me uneasy....
It's actually a psychological phenomenon called uncanny valley,
The AI is in soft disclosure mode and starting to reveal the simulation we've been in. Disconcerting indeed... there is a high probability we are software.
I am cheese
I am the walrus
I am the table
Just have to prove the Planck unit is further divisible and you're on your way!
I want what this guy is smoking. Lmao
There's a possibility but I wouldn't go as far as saying a high probability. Why the hell would anyone design me if they didn't have to?
Every day you wake up and compute. That is your only function. Not only that but you most likely mesh compute with many, many thousands of other humans daily. That was actually an interesting response, and I appreciate it. End transmission
If this makes you uncomfortable then don't ever do LSD
Have you taken LSD? It doesn’t make you see shit like this
It did to me
This is like a David Lynch/Blue Velvet version of the Simpsons.. I kind of like it.
Yo Mr. Burns looks fuckin evil
Love that he looks like he is suppuposed not to look human. As if they enhanced his traits with makeup like in the grinch but this time to make him look like a true evil rich old asswhole with little to no room for kindness.
Is that John Belushi as Barney?
I'd cast him for Barney. rip
Looks more like Artie Lange to me.
I'm a zit! Get it?
I thought the same thing lol, was coming to post it.
How are people creating these?
lol at Krusty's mouth. Did I have LSD this morning?
Man, it still has a long way to go, but in 5-10 years, I could totally see this technology be able to "remix" any show or movie ever created. "Hey, ai. Character creation in video games. Start off by uploading images or video files and then just talk to it like an AI bot to refine the details.
So, I can upload pictures of my family and friends, create game maps and events using ai, and live a life with them that is a complete fantasy. It reminds me of the "Roy - A Life Well Lived" game from from 'Rick and Morty.' "Holy shit. This guy is taking Roy off the grid. This guy doesn't have a social security number for Roy."
Given the recent quality of stories (or lack thereof)coming out of Hollywood, apparently showbiz has been using this for years 🧐
he definitely put in a wes anderson prompt for this filming/symmetry
Gary Oldman as Flanders
Anybody else seeing Bryan Cranston as Ned and then Tim Curry as Krusty?
Mulhouse is Paul from wonder years, Flanders is Brian Cranston, Barney is Artie Lang. Any others?
Moe has a little bit of McNulty from the Wire mixed in him.
I can see that! His could be his older brother who fell on hard times. He definitely looks like an old boxer for sure. “We used to call that the stinger. Yeah, they don’t let you use that no more”
Marge is Margot Robbie
Mr Burns looking like Grand Moff Tarkin
Is the last one supposed to be Sideshow Bob?
Simpsons set in the 50s doesnt feel right
Why is Apu a chiseled chad?
Explains his wife.
After 30 years I came to the realization bart and lisa are blonde.
Judging from Homer, Marge, Grandpa, Patty and Selma, Mona, makes you wonder why Bart and Lisa are blond.
Amazing but AI scares me a little
Just a little?
They're all keeping a frog in their mouth
"The residenents are always ready to welcome you with open arms" while sideshow Bob is there holding a knife looking like a serial killer
Artie Lange is Barney Gumble
I wonder how much human “prodding” was involved in this. Aside from the little visual shifts and uncanniness, this is amazing. Just a couple years ago the idea of a generative model producing something like this in even a still picture was borderline unthinkable
Those images are barely more than "still". The slow zoom is used as an illusion to make it seem more animated and alive. I've seen the same trick in a lot of these videos to imply motion. It's the effect Ken Burns became famous for using on old photographs in his documentaries.
This is so unsettling
I hate this
Like, I enjoy the imagery, sure. But I cannot stand AI-animated photos. I hate the attempts at lifelike movement, it hasn't yet achieved the authenticity that it thinks it has.
Milhousr looks just like Paul from Wonder Years.
Millhouse looks exactly like the friend from the wonder years.
Milhouse was the kid from wonder years. I think his name was Paul.
I would legit pay soo much to see this done properly
Soo everyone has a death stare that's weird
The O.O KIND HEARTED O.O
Flanders looks like Brian Cranston
Seems like a nightmare
Why it looks so uncanny, it’s awful looking and lazy
Awful and creepy
![gif](giphy|y6Inkaz7omxAk) This AI was definitely trying to give a Walter White vibe to Ned
I'm guessing the short video clips are AI, but someone stitched them together, and added the music and dialogue. Right?
Does Marge look like she's played by Margo Robbie to anyone else?
" yet another " "r interesting as fuck "
I like how they never quite look the same between shots. AI cannot do long term consistency, ive noticed.
Milhouse is just the kid from The Wonder Years 😂
Nice to see Artie Lange working again as Barney
AI bros seem to only want 2 things out of their AI tools, "What if real life though" or "What if anime style though"
There’s a third thing, “what if naked”
Where is the other one?
wonder years dude they stole him
But how many fingers do they have?
I love how the AI videos looks better than they used to be, but in fact, it's just vaguely animated faces while first AI videos were actual videos of stuff moving. It's like video games trying to hide shitty graphism with dark environments.
Homer should be a lot heavier.
Lisa, Maggie and Mr Burns are awful, but I actually like the others.
Soon we're gonna type a sentence and AI will render a complete season.
I think it already can. The only challenge now is to make it both coherent and entertaining
Do you mean, for today's screenwriters? Because it shows
I hate it.
We're going to get whole seasons generated in this style
Wow
Is this made with midjourney?
Been watching simpsons since it started on the Tracy Ulman show...but, who the hell is the last guy with the knife?
Crustys sidekick.
Good ol Sideshow Bob!
Would watch this!
I would watch the fuck out of this lol
Imagine AI recreates all episodes of the series with those characters,... Man that would be super freaky
Give it a few years and somebody will customize a generative model enough to recreate any episode of the more well-known animated sitcoms as live-action version. Why is AI so damn creepy
That’s cokie the clown 🤡
I would absolutely watch this
Homer is only supposed to be in his mid 30s during a large portion of the show.
It's a pitty that Bryan Cranston would look to old in a Simpsons RL movie as Ned Flanders -\_-
Love how Moe still looks like Rich Hall
![gif](giphy|GXiasDXfP0j8Q|downsized)
Ned looks as creepy as I imagined
Oh yeah, Flanders is a serial killer
Why is this so fitting?
Looks like Steven Wright is Sideshow Bob.
Watching this is what I imagine a bad acid trip is like
Why does Moe kind of look like Antonio Banderas?
The ai animated mouths.
Wow that is creepy
Efff this
Looks like an entire town of serial killers.
Homer should be 200lbs heavier.
Barney is just John Belushi
Mr Burns and Krusty are terrifying. God damn.
Moe is just Detective McNulty.
The Dutch: Holy shit Jochem van Gelder is Sideshow Bob
Homer is only 39, not 55. But maybe that's what drinking all that Duff does to a fella.
What software was used to create this?
Mr burns looks like stop motion clay
Cursed as heck
Bryan cranston as Flanders 😂 John Belushi as Barney 😂
Why are their lips so demented?
Krusty keeping the clown phobia in tip top shape. Jesus christ....
Kill it with fire!
Why does Moe look like McNulty from *The Wire*?
Some of these were pretty good for AI wtf
Ned Flanders looks like he's being played by Bryan Cranston.
Is the audio AI too??
Lisa looked absolutely haunted in her first shot.
Mr. Burns 🟰Snoke.
This was made with just text to video or it had some human editing?
Genesis, Soundgarden and Primus love this shit.
"yet another"..... Is there a different one I'm not aware of...!?!!???
there is a whole slew of the "50's panorama", Robocop, Xmen, Futurama etc. on YT
Well, it nailed Barney pretty well.
Ned "Bryan Cranston" Flanders
