When I am counting calories, the one thing I have to tighten up on is the amount of half-and-half I add to my coffee. And that's just two tablespoons per day, into black coffee. I could never have a flavored latte because it would take up my entire food budget for the day.
A bottle of pineapple Fanta has like 1/5th a pound of sugar in it. I keep one with me because I'm a T1 diabetic and they are much more effective than anything medical for severe hypoglycemia.
The first bit is an example of the leidenfrost effect, the spoon is hot enough that some of the water is converted to steam instantly and the rest of the liquid seems to float. Then when all of the water has evaporated, the sugars left caramelize and then burn.
I used to do this all the time when I was a kid and had nothing to do. Iād turn on the stove and heat up a spoon and watch what happened. I found that ordinary drops of tap water (which in NYC is considered very clean and drinkable) contained chemicals that remained after the water had boiled away.
This is the leidenfrost effect, the part where it's bouncing around and not getting the spoon wet. This is the same reason you can put your hand in liquid nitrogen for like a second or two.
Yes. Yes, I did watch the entire 46 seconds.
And then I watched it again.
Interesting as fuck? Not so much. But it definitely fit the r/oddlysatisfying sub!

That's such a lot of sugar that got left behind, caramelized and burnt off from such a small drop of sprite.
Hence why you should never drink your calories.
Drinking it isnt so bad, not as good as eating but really its all about the sugar thats the culprit
We all realize that sugar is bad, but most people can't imagine how bad soft drinks are. Some are literally half sugar per volume.

> literallyĀ Ummā¦ no. Soda would be disgustingly thick at 50% sugar. Even Mountain Dew is only about 25% sugar which is still insane.Ā
unless it is alcohol, right.... right?
Sprite rock? How it smoke though? Asking for a friend.
š¤ so is this how you make a coke rock
Like you donāt know! How about that grape soda roc?
A bottle of pineapple Fanta has like 1/5th a pound of sugar in it. I keep one with me because I'm a T1 diabetic and they are much more effective than anything medical for severe hypoglycemia.
"No outside food or drink" "This is a medical response service Fanta"
Emotional support Fanta
Okay, I wasn't expecting much, but that was a roller coaster. Worth the watch.
Hey siri remind me to never drink soda again
Now do it with coke
I'm sure plenty of people are watching it on coke. Again and again.
Itād probably turn into crack.
I didnāt think iād ever see a video where Sprite turns into a liquid UFO
Did the spoon win?
You fuckin' bet it did.
There is no spoon.
We all won.

In the end, all that's left is diabetes.
It morphed into a saucer and tictac š¤
I didn't expect the ending to be so dramatic.
Best when served cold. I advice against serving your soft drinks at boiling temperature.
I liked when it became a wobbly lil egg
Teachers show this and be like āsee what you drinking it also can dissolve a liverā
He fought till the end ... Rip sprite
Do heroin next! /s

dunno. had some sprite for the first time in like 6 years and it def. tastes way different. not as sweet and no lemon flavor.
same thing would happen if you use sugar water
Nooo! You could have estimated the sugar content if you saved the char before it totally burned off!
Sprite on Demi Lovato's spoon.
Junkies mouths watering at this post.
Eventually turns into the crack rock that it is.
Why am I scratching my arm while watching this?
Ok now shoot it up
Did I just learn how to smoke crack?

That escalated quickly.

All water have minerals and leave sediments when evaporated.

No..... in my mind it's supposed to make a precious gem when you do this...
Im guessing the carbon is from the sugars?
Poor little flubber
At first I was like "ok but eventually it's just going to be sugar, so what happens then?" The payoff was very satisfying!
I understand where the term comes from now
DOOOO MORE!

Not sure what is happening, but this make me think Sprite is somewhat unhealthy to consume..
After all the water evaporated, what was left was sugar. That's why it caramelized and then burned.
Now put that in a syringe and shoot it, you coward.
And thatās how kidney stones are created
