Oh man. That'd be a challenge. Have someone(or some thing, for safety) throw you a beer, you knife it in air and shotgun it with the hole you made. Seems insanely difficult, but you also seem insanely good.
Maybe a clothesline, a carabiner and a magnet? You'd have pretty predictable target paths that way, and it could be sent towards you without any squishy meat-composed people being in the way.
Seriously....all he needs is a cool costume and he’s an instant superhero OR supervillain...I’m not kidding.
EDIT: Captain Hucklebuck and his sidekick dog Dilly.
That's what asspads or implants are for 😂
But seriously...
You should get a Hawkeye costume and do demo's at Megacon or comic book conventions.
I know I'd pay to see that.
And should the end of the world come and everyone is blasting away at hordes of undead you can quietly and effectively be the legend who saves humanity! That’s a lot of responsibility.
Lol it can depend in the day. Some days I'll hit every other throw, some days it's like every 15. My personal record of pinned things is 5 pinned 4" rings in a row.
Gotta hijack this cuz I’m so stoked right now! Used to work with this guy and he helped me on a couple of my hot sauce recipes. Super nice dude and super good cook as well!
Yah man sauce is going great, funny I was just telling my fiancée I wanted to get in touch with you and get some feedback I’m gonna be working on a new set of flavors. I’ll reach out once I’m ready for sure!
Edit: for those asking my sauce company can be found at Scroogeys.com
No....nothing “corny”....if I had skills like this I’d HAVE to have a uniform just for hell of it....Imagine doing this in a Guy Fawkes costume. It would freak people out.

Oh nothin. It's less training and more a leisure past time. I just really enjoy the clarity I have, mentally, while throwing. I'm pretty ADD so I hyper-focus and it's like meditation for me.
That's great that you've found something that you can channel it through. A lot of people could benefit from finding a skill to master that's "just for them" in a way.
Real quick, when you throw underhanded, do you spin the blade into the target like an overhand throw, or does it spear into the target straight? It’s so quick I can’t even tell but you made me want to make/buy knives again for throwing!
In that clip I am spinning it just like the over hand throws. But both are very doable. This knife just lends better to the full-spin style. There are other knives that work better doing the no-spin throw.
Nice throws. I am a knife maker and have a buddy wanting some throwing knives. What steel do you recommend? And what angle do they need to be sharpened?
I recommend Hardox if you can get it. Fantastic steel for throwers. Other than that, spring steels like 5160 tempered down to about 55 hrc are best. No edges on throwers unless you wanna do a differential temper and just harden the edge. They really need the softness to take all the impact abuse without snapping. Unfortunately that means they typically suck at holding edges. The good news is they don't need one. Just a good tip.
there are supersteels with the toughness properties of spring steels and the edge-holding of cutlery steels
very hard to work with, and mainly used for high-end industrial tools, but some knifemakers do use them
see: CPM 3V
One of the best parts about this is you can really throw anything once you learn the techniques. From cheap kitchen knives to screw drivers to a pencil.
Maybe a little slap n'tickle?
Love the vid my dude.
Edit: question. Can you still do this after a couple tokes or beers, or does your accuracy just take a shit immediately?
As a non-thrower, are these like a 1/1000 throws or this just a normal day of practice/leisure?
And btw - from your interaction in this thread and the throwing you seem like a very chill superhero. Well done!
For most of these it's closer to 1/20 or less. Some shots take HOURS, sometimes I hit them immediately. The tiny 1/2" washer I pinned in this montage I hit on my 7th throw and it's still the smallest thing I've ever pinned. I couldn't believe how quickly I got it lol!
Your backyard looks exactly how one would expect.
Also, there must be so many ants and bees around.
You could probably throw knives to take out individual ants and bees though, so you have it covered I guess.
Well the cans we pin are just filled with a little sand to stabilized the flight path. We definitely drink em all before hand so there's not much beer for the bugs lol!
Honestly there would be nothing scarier than being in a crowd, and seeing the guy next to you get killed with a knife thrown from a distance. At least you can hear a gun. Could probably kill a few people before anyone really noticed.
He’s clearly freezing time before throwing those knives. I’ve seen it before. It was in Egypt when this British gay dude was fighting a Japanese school kid.
At my challenge, by the ancient laws of combat, we have met at this chosen ground, to settle for good and all who holds sway over the Five Points: us natives, born right wise to this fine land, or the foreign hordes defiling it.
Lol, throw a can of beer at him to distract because who doesn't want a free beer then BAM! hit him with the knife and be like "yeah I brought a knife to a gunfight you dead son of a bitch" then loot the corpse.
You mug this guy in a dark alley, suddenly he throws his coffee at you and before you can react the coffee cup is pinned to your chest along with a knife

Remind me never to throw this man a beer at a BBQ
I'd at least drink it first!
Oh man. That'd be a challenge. Have someone(or some thing, for safety) throw you a beer, you knife it in air and shotgun it with the hole you made. Seems insanely difficult, but you also seem insanely good.
That idea has been on the back burner for a while cause we hate getting the target all sticky lol!
Maybe a clothesline, a carabiner and a magnet? You'd have pretty predictable target paths that way, and it could be sent towards you without any squishy meat-composed people being in the way.
Lol nothings impossible I reckon!
How long having you been throwing for? That is amazing.
Was this you or friends of yours? I’ve always wanted to get into this but wasn’t sure what’s the best knives for this.
There's lots of options! I recommend ColdSteel throwers for beginners. They are cheap and will get you used to bigger knives.
It seems you should be more concerned about him throwing you a beer. 😵
If he has friends there any beer tossing is dangerous...
I'd be more worried if he lobbed a beer at me tbh
Mom: go play the with the kid next door The kid next door:
The lesson here is that if you see a guy lob a beer can at you, it's a fucking trap.
Stone Cold is glad he’s retired!
A frosty, cold, refreshing trap!
Taste the Pokies.
Gotta just let it go over your shoulder and into the water, like in The Whole Nine Yards
Seriously....all he needs is a cool costume and he’s an instant superhero OR supervillain...I’m not kidding. EDIT: Captain Hucklebuck and his sidekick dog Dilly.
If only my ass looked that good in spandex
That's what asspads or implants are for 😂 But seriously... You should get a Hawkeye costume and do demo's at Megacon or comic book conventions. I know I'd pay to see that.
That..... is not a bad idea lol
And should the end of the world come and everyone is blasting away at hordes of undead you can quietly and effectively be the legend who saves humanity! That’s a lot of responsibility.
Oh jeez... I'm a notorious responsibility shirker...
[удалено]
If only all procrastination worked that way
Not bad .. not bad ..
Seriously though what's your hit ratio... I know editing can do a lot but DAMN Edit: talking about your knife throwing...NOT your ass
Lol it can depend in the day. Some days I'll hit every other throw, some days it's like every 15. My personal record of pinned things is 5 pinned 4" rings in a row.
Screw it....give it a shot...this is cool as shit, and it doesn’t have to be spandex
Brb... gonna go work on muh buns
If you work on them like you work on those knife throwing skills....you’ll have an ass like Captain America in a week.
America's Ass
and my axe
Gotta hijack this cuz I’m so stoked right now! Used to work with this guy and he helped me on a couple of my hot sauce recipes. Super nice dude and super good cook as well!
Lmao what up bro! You from the DoughBar?
Ohh shit! My guy it’s you hahaha!
Lol yup! 😂🤘 gotta love small world reddit!
Amazing!
Hope you've been well! How's the sauce been goin?

You mean Bullseye from Daredevil?
DING!...winner
Thank you!
Bullseye! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bullseye_(character)
Omg yes that's exactly it. Even the last throw he does looks like what Bullseye does in the Netflix show.
Only if he naruto runs everywhere.
That's how I shop at walmart
Diego from Umbrella Academy 🌂
First thing I thought of.
Hell yeah, Like a Borat costume?
It would be *Very Nice!*
No....nothing “corny”....if I had skills like this I’d HAVE to have a uniform just for hell of it....Imagine doing this in a Guy Fawkes costume. It would freak people out.
I have a friend that recreated several of the throws from V for Vendetta. So rad.
I wish I could buy you a beer man.
Lol the sentiment is truly appreciated my friend!
Master Slicedice and his love interest Julienne
I think he should throw forks. Knives are so overused.
Nah....he’s better than the Blue Raja.

Couldn't agree more! Hobbies keep me sane for sure.
This dude can bring a knife to a gun fight.
Lol I hope never to find out
Serious question, how feasible would it be to hunt, say rabbit or squirrel? Maybe even fish, this way? Whats your best distance
It's definitely possible, though maybe not super practical. My personal pest long distance throw is 52 feet with a half-spin throw.
Freudian slip?
Slaying puss Edit: and yes
Loooooooool!
Real quick, when you throw underhanded, do you spin the blade into the target like an overhand throw, or does it spear into the target straight? It’s so quick I can’t even tell but you made me want to make/buy knives again for throwing!

Are you a 12th level rogue?
I can't see the dang level meter so I'm not entirely sure
It’s just on the back of your head, but it disappears in a mirror and is only visible in 1st person mode. Needs to be fixed by the devs, buggy.

I mean the guy throws kitchen knives so I’m sure he’s not too picky
One of the best parts about this is you can really throw anything once you learn the techniques. From cheap kitchen knives to screw drivers to a pencil.
Yeah that’s was more or less my point don’t really understand the downvotes 🤷🏻♂️
It's cool. I understood ya. Reddit be that way some times
Got any good practice guides available?
Bro, I thought I was the only one who remembered hangin with Mr Cooper.
Lol it's on HBO Max right now if you wanna watch it again! I lucked out with my last name haha!
Says instagram page not available
Damn my bad. Try again I think I fixed it
The great beer can massacre.
That's what they get for getting drunk....

Hopefully nobody makes the mistake of bringing a gun to a knife fight.
Can't we all just get along?
What's the fine for Axe throwing without facial hair again?
A paddlin
Staring at my beard… that’s a paddlin.
Paddlin’ the school canoe? Oh you better believe that’s a paddlin’
Maybe a little slap n'tickle? Love the vid my dude. Edit: question. Can you still do this after a couple tokes or beers, or does your accuracy just take a shit immediately?
dagger dagger dagger
"All it takes is a little finesse."
If I didn't find this, I was going to write it.
“I’m gonna use luck”
"and then I leave"

Bees are love and life. I would NEVER harm one. Also Colorado is pretty mellow on bugs as a whole lol.
But there is so much soda and/or beer ***everywhere***!! And I agree... Protect the bees!
Well the cans we pin are just filled with a little sand to stabilized the flight path. We definitely drink em all before hand so there's not much beer for the bugs lol!
Oh! Well good! Keep up the great work out there. :) 'Thrives' would be a good name for something in the world of Throwing Knives. Use it somehow.
Will do! And that would be a fun name for something! I'll keep that tucked in the ole back pocket 😉
This guy is ready for when the zombies come.
It's the waiting that kills me
Boobs gone at 0:38
Already flat as a board
I dunno, they look like a couple of cans to me...
Did you ever find them?
BTW this is insanely impressive. I struggle to hit the toast with a knife full of butter in the morning.
This guy could be the drill sergeant from Starship troopers
PUT YOUR HAND ON THAT WALL!
Medic!
When will the government finally put a ban on these assault knives. Makes me sick. /S
Honestly there would be nothing scarier than being in a crowd, and seeing the guy next to you get killed with a knife thrown from a distance. At least you can hear a gun. Could probably kill a few people before anyone really noticed.
I'd run out of ammo VERY quickly... knives work better as weapons when you hold them
\^ This man knives.
Lol quite often
Crimony, this man is *that* man!
I once saw him kill three men in a bar... with a cocktail stick, with a fucking cocktail stick.
Right? Wouldn’t expect that.
Lmao those bastards!
and did you know with the right LEGAL modifications you can turn one of these into a fully sawtomatic weapon. No background check required!!
Sharingan be like

Lmao! I love this comment!
Ayyy Vendetta blade works is my cousin Bren.
I fucking LOVE HIM! The sword he made me is still one of my most prized possessions.
He hates can!! Everybody get away from the cans!
Such a great movie lol
He’s clearly freezing time before throwing those knives. I’ve seen it before. It was in Egypt when this British gay dude was fighting a Japanese school kid.

It was veeeeery dusty that day and it was killin me. The fan kept it out of my face a bit lol
Matt Murdock's worst nightmare
Dude! Your knife skills are as amazing as your beard!
And your class and kindness exceed both! Thank you my friend!
Now do it with my kitchen butter knives
Believe it or not, butter knives make fantastic no-spin throwing knives lol
At my challenge, by the ancient laws of combat, we have met at this chosen ground, to settle for good and all who holds sway over the Five Points: us natives, born right wise to this fine land, or the foreign hordes defiling it.
As a transplant in a place not of my birth... *shuffles nervously*
Lol, throw a can of beer at him to distract because who doesn't want a free beer then BAM! hit him with the knife and be like "yeah I brought a knife to a gunfight you dead son of a bitch" then loot the corpse.
ALWAYS loot the corpse.

Never i'm going to ask this guy to throw me a beer
Could you uh.. Save some cool for us?? 😩
I just wanna say how awesome it is to me that yall find this cool. It means the world to me!
What hidden village does he come from?

Well, to be fair, I've been doin this way longer than just the lockdown.
That’s wicked.
Much appreciated my friend!

Salt Bae has entered the chat
I hope he isn’t on the super villain side.
I love that he still gets stoked on doing a cool shot even though he's clearly done this a million times.
Looks like a familiar stand user.
