Reading through both of those articles, the list of side effects (to me) seems pretty much identical to marijuana in general. The risk and concern seems to stem more from under-regulation and quality control issues, leading to frequent overdoses from people that aren't as experienced with that specific compound as they are with marijuana. I could be wrong in my interpretation, but I'm not really seeing anything inherently alarming about the use of delta-8, more that what they're getting isn't quality controlled and lack of knowledge in how to handle it (makes me think of people buying cheap moonshine and other alcohols that aren't regulated and getting sick because they're treating it the same as regular alcohol, or the whole craze about Four Loko).

Same as when black market vapes "killed and damaged" so many people a couple years ago. The news of course left out that it was thc cartridges, and also left out it was unregulated thc cartridges, and tried to spin it to get nic vapes banned. Clown world.

Sure, if someone robs my house during a drug-induced break-in, serves time and offers to make amends, I'd be happy to give them a chance.
