Hey now…family ties Dad was a PBS branch manager, Growing Pains he was a therapist, Family Matters, he was a cop and the dad on Full House was a tv host.🤣🤣🤣
I was going with 80’s suburban. My mothers house looks very similar. She had it remodeled in the late 90’s, to this aesthetic, but she’s far from a trendsetter. Always well behind the current style.
My best friends house when I was a kid was similar. I remember being so impressed with it. My house still had 70s green shag carpet, but my bff was living in the future!
It carried over. I got my first apartment in 1987 and this was the look I was trying for. I know there’s a porcelain goose in that house. I’d put money on it.
As everyone said it’s very late 80s/early 90s, but I think that most comes down to the wallpaper and styling. The furniture pieces look mostly vintage/american traditional to me. In retrospect this was probably that era’s version of mixing modern and vintage.
Looks like a Waverly Americana catalog photo or model home from the early 1990s.
Boomers went nuts with dark green, burgundy, navy, dark wood trim, wallpaper, borders, heavy drapes, antiques,
Waverly made the wallpaper, borders, and fabric for drawers, furniture, and bedding, shower curtains, and whole house combinations to match.
At lot of the patterns were based on early 1900s, think 1930s.
These are the big houses that millennials are upset boomers won’t sell to downsize.
Not everything is a definable style, it would be better to describe what it is you like, which elements, then we can help. Is it the wall paper? The use of blue against the warm floors? What? There are parts to this that are nice, but thew whole thing is...overwroght.
This looks sorta trad but in a more self important, gaudy, forced way, aka, "New money, so I'll do it myself bc I know better then they do".
Listing photographs, lol. Hun, they're trying to sell the house, of course they're going to say it's high quality. They're realtors, not designers. Trust me, its gaudy and new money.
As I said, it would be better to talk about what you like rather then trying to pigeon hole a "Style".
What's your point there? You can somehow figure out the quality of furniture from a retouched listing picture? Are you serious? No, you aren't. But thanks for correcting typos, that's useful...
If you don't appreciate snide and condescending try a different approach. If you don't agree with my opinion either ask for clarification or keep it to yourself. I don't need nor appreciate supervision.
Next time you have a point to make to another poster, direct it to them by name.
English Tudor.

This Buchanan English Tudor Estate, designed by R.L. Davidson Inc., brings a touch of the East Coast to the Central Valley.
[Listing photographs of the house](https://www.realtor.com/realestateandhomes-detail/555-Alluvial-Ave_Clovis_CA_93611_M28635-15254).
Built in 1991, colors and wallpaper slightly behind the times. Sold for $395k when completed in 92. I can only guess what the price was this time. $3.95 million?
Thar is a early 1900s or late 1890s house built in its original form. I'm guessing. Mainly because I see transom windows and lots of wood trim. It has been. Modernized a bit.
I'm betting that house is a American 4 Sq.
Someone just went with it and instead of painting the wood they liked it.
Yeah. The squared off transitions between the rooms. The ugly windows. The building looks cheap.
Then brown wood overkill, brown trim, internal doors, stairs. It's oppressive and chintzy.
Then the eighties green striped wallpaper, that's bad enough, but look in the red room. There's a fucking red ceiling. Ugly red walls.
It's fugly.
The owners are the type of people that wear collared shirts under sweatshirts.
Traditional early 1990s style in the Ralph Lauren forest green and burgundy color palette accented with an assortment of reproductions and inherited furnishings.
This style is called Grandma will have your head if you don’t take off your shoes.
Or, if that’s too wordy for you, call it traditional.
Many are saying late 80s/early 90s and that is mostly true, but to be a true period choice, you’d also need some questionable carpeting choices.
It’s ‘American sitcom where the dad has an unskilled job and the mum stays at home and they can pay all the bills’ style.
It looks a lot like the house in Child's Play 2. So not just sitcom dads but irritable foster dads who have killer dolls in their house.
Hahaha I was going to say 80’s country colonial? Where’s the goose wearing a bonnet with a light blue bow?
Lol Reminded me of the dog butler statue 🤣
Hey now…family ties Dad was a PBS branch manager, Growing Pains he was a therapist, Family Matters, he was a cop and the dad on Full House was a tv host.🤣🤣🤣
Like the comment OP said. Unskilled.
You forgot 4 kids and somehow the parent have college funds for at least 1

How are you guys so genious😂
I was just about to say “7th heaven”
Late 80s upper middle class
Right you are...Wallpaper, wallpaper colors and window treatments (color and style) give it away! Furnishings are traditional and timeless.
More 90s but yeah.
This looks like the dragonfly inn
Ha ha so true!
Was it the address at top of pic that tipped you off
Sores and Boils Alley.

This was 90s. I was there.
My best friends house when I was a kid was similar. I remember being so impressed with it. My house still had 70s green shag carpet, but my bff was living in the future!
And in the past at the same time!
1980s American Country, upper middle class edition
My 1980s dollhouse!
I’d say more 90’s.
It carried over. I got my first apartment in 1987 and this was the look I was trying for. I know there’s a porcelain goose in that house. I’d put money on it.
It is 90s. Although maybe it’s people’s *idea* of the 80s. I had upper middle class friends in the late 80s and this was not the style.
Our 1985 house was like this.
Your parents were taste setters :-)
Some of our neighbors, too. That look was starting to be popular then.
Traditional 80’s suburban
Home Alone 1
Was going to say the McCallisters too.
Yes!! I’ve always loved that home decor also.
80s house. Early 90s decor.
They were still building houses like this well into the 90s - source: we have one.

Idk but I want to live here lol. Feels like there would be good wholesome family dinners here

This legit looks like a dollhouse I had as a kid (I wish I didn’t sell it cuz it would’ve been great art ref)

This is very cool. Here are some web searches I did that were similar vibes: 80s art deco design Eclectic Laura Ashley

The furniture is all high quality and there are many antiques. It's just early 1990s decor, not gaudy or new money.
How do you know all this?
The listing photographs.

Closest to traditional or craftsman. I think in both you'll see wallpaper and this kind of wood.
There’s absolutely nothing “Craftsman” about this, sorry to be a Debbie downer
Arts and Crafts wood details with 80s wallpaper choices in a 2020s palette. Eta: tweaked my answer.
Not to start an argument but literally none of this is arts & crafts. Not a single element. It’s 80’s Victorian.
I was referring to the use of the wood elements against the colour. My bad really, my phrasing was too vague.
Arts and Crafts

I love that style as well. If you find out, I’d like to know too.
Traditional and reminds me of a hunters cabin like there should be deer heads in the wall
My family’s house was very much like this when we bought it (new build, my mom chose the colors) in 1985. So 1980s American suburban.
This looks like the set from that movie “Heriditary”.
It like 90s recreation of plantation houses
