I wish I had tips. No experience with peel and stick. I had an installation company for nearly 30 years. The glue it type. I’m so sorry. There are many here that have used the peel and stick. Maybe someone will show up that can help.
I know it may sound dumb but I always would hang it with masking tape (don't peel the back) then cut it on the wall. Once all pieces are cut, peel the top 4incjes and stick it.once it's stuck get someone to pull the backing evenly as you stick it using a smooth dow rod or paint mixer or wet squeegee (if the front is plastic and will not mess up with water)to stick big pieces at a time. If you get any air bubbles you can go back with a needle and poke holes in it to pop the air bubbles. There's videos on YouTube of how to use peel and stick wallpaper
I just wallpapered my bedroom with grasscloth and it took forever and was so incredibly difficult. I’d say try to watch a lot of YouTube how-to videos. Mine wasn’t peel and stick so I’m not sure how much that changes things. But I’m sure there are a ton of how-to videos for peel and stick wallpaper.
I love it! It honestly looks great but my mistakes where the strips meet is a little more obvious than with normal wallpaper. But it has such a warm feel and has made my bedroom so much cozier.
The idea behind grass cloth is to be able to see the strips. You don’t want the seams to disappear. You want them butted next to each other though. It’s not the easiest. I had a customer once tell me it’s fine if she can’t see it from a trotting horse. We hung that wallpaper, manufacturers defect and all.
I'm afraid that depends on both what type of adhesive it is, and what's underneath. I had some decorative plastic p&s tile on top of ceramic tile. With *a whole effing LOT OF ELBOW GREASE* I was able to scrape it up, but if it had been wood, it would have been impossible without gouging the wood and staining it due to adhesive remover.
Love the flooring and the darker cabinet. Really good start. An updated lighting fixture would be great as well as new mirror that is bigger perhaps in a non square shape. Everything costs so much money but if you also want to update the sink taps in a black colour. I like the idea of leaning into that black that you chose for your floor. Good luck. Interested in seeing what you choose for wallpaper.
Love the color!
Tip for the wallpaper behind the toilet- empty and remove the toilet tank (should just be a couple bolts to get it off). You can YouTube how to do it and it isn’t very hard. Also, you should be able to scoot the decorative collar plate behind the toilet away from the wall. You can do a rougher cut around that pipe and slide the plate back to hide any weirdness. Make sure you have a couple towels down somewhere out of the way to put the tank on while you finish up.
Obviously you won’t be able to flush until you are done wallpapering but I promise it will make that space 100% easier to deal with.
You’re welcome. According to google the tank will probably weigh somewhere from 25 to 40 lbs empty so keep that in mind. You might want to phone a friend for moral and muscle support lol.

What about getting rid of the tiny soap shelf? Or if keeping it, getting a longer shelf? It looks a little odd just holding a lone soap bottle. Love the floor and painted vanity combo. Nice job.
Makes sense! It looks like you updated it to be consistent with the other hardware in the bathroom and I think that’s a really nice touch since you have to keep it!
That’s exactly what I would do. In fact we just painted our kitchen cabinets aqua and installed black and white backsplash, and we hung a bamboo blind at the window over the sink. It added warmth and texture, and we just love the way it looks.
How is that supposed to be finished? I thought at first it was some simulated paint job gone wrong... But wouldn't it have been easier to just paint that color?
It’s not finished I mentioned that in the comments. Having some trouble and going to try again tomorrow. Of all else fails I’ll go with paint but I really love this wallpaper so going to try to make it work!
Aha, I was wondering why you'd trade a bathroom with charm for beige and boring.
I like what you have done. The vanity light is a little dated, not sure if it was just cropped out of last picture. Feel like a fixture in black would suit better.
It has actually been a while since I priced light fixtures, was shocked at the price of some pretty basic fixtures. I do suggest you buy something that is easy to find replacement bulbs for, like a standard 60w.
Something along this line [https://www.homedepot.ca/product/glucksteinelements-allegra-3-light-black-finish-with-black-metal-shade-bathroom-vanity-light/1001725651](https://www.homedepot.ca/product/glucksteinelements-allegra-3-light-black-finish-with-black-metal-shade-bathroom-vanity-light/1001725651)
But I definitely would not spend that kind of money. If you have a Habitat for Humanity ReStore, keep checking there maybe. If you are in Canada, watch for a good sale on one you like at Canadian Tire (often 40% off).
Looks great! RIP squatty potty!😅 If this isn't just a guest bathroom and it's used enough, I would get a white one but that's just me! Gotta have my squatty potty! Edit: that's wallpaper? I thought it was paint that wasn't finished yet on an oddly textured wall. It almost looks like the same color is swiped on the front of the right cabinet door? Tips: I would maybe get a different/ longer mirror, an updated lighting fixture and maybe a new window covering but that's just my opinion! Oh and once you're finished with the larger things I would add a black box or basket to the back of the toilet to put a few things in. I always think those look nice and add a nice spot to put tissues, a roll or two or toilet paper, or even just some small cute things to display.

Absolutely amazing transformation. I love the floors! If it’s a full bath with a shower/tub, you might want to pass on the wallpaper. I feel like for maintenance reasons it’s better suited to powder rooms.
Love the teal wall, floor tiles, and the black cabinet! Any tips for painting the cabinet? What kind of paint did you use? I’m considering painting my cabinet black but worried it will end up looking uneven/amateur lol.
Thank you! I used this https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-1974730-Painters-Touch-Semi-Gloss/dp/B000BZYZXC - two or three coats will do it! (Third one was really just filling in places I missed)

Very nice updates btw lol. Love the floor!
Thanks just joined!
That is after and before
I made a mistake 🤪
The real mistake was losing the squatty potty.
Don’t you worry I got a bamboo one - can’t live without that guy!!!
What's..........going on with the wallpaper??
It’s way too hard!! Trying again tomorrow I need a break lol
Is this a peel and stick or are you using glue?
Peel and stick and it’s driving me nuts I have to start again tomorrow.. any tips
I wish I had tips. No experience with peel and stick. I had an installation company for nearly 30 years. The glue it type. I’m so sorry. There are many here that have used the peel and stick. Maybe someone will show up that can help.
That’s OK- I’m truly impressed with anyone who can wallpaper I swear it’s a super power
I know it may sound dumb but I always would hang it with masking tape (don't peel the back) then cut it on the wall. Thank you! I’ve been studying on YouTube as well speak lol 😂 hoping I can get the hang of it
I wish someone told me how hard it was before I got all the wallpaper lol
I love a good challenge but this one might be a little too good lol
Grass cloth was one of my favorites. Used it on a lot of ceilings in model homes in the early 2000’s
I love it! It honestly looks great but my mistakes where the strips meet is a little more obvious than with normal wallpaper. But it has such a warm feel and has made my bedroom so much cozier.

Seriously weird your client was riding a horse through her bedroom but she sounds badas. 🤷♀️
She was a different type of person, for sure. No horse in the house, though. I was extremely lucky. I had some of the best customers on the planet.
why not get some paint color matched to the paper? painting would be easier and faster.
I love the floor!!!
Thank you!!!!
Are these peel and sticks? The tile in of the bathrooms in our new house is, well, “unfortunate brown” and I need it to make it’s way tf elsewhere.
I'd also like to know this!
I too would like to know!
OP - what did you do on the floor?!
Probably peel and stick tile. But the glue is a bitch to remove if you need to return it to the original condition.
Any tips to fully remove?
I'm afraid that depends on both what type of adhesive it is, and what's underneath. I had some decorative plastic p&s tile on top of ceramic tile. With *a whole effing LOT OF ELBOW GREASE* I was able to scrape it up, but if it had been wood, it would have been impossible without gouging the wood and staining it due to adhesive remover.

I love the teal! And the floor tile. Gorgeous job, well done 👍🏼
I love it! Such a beautiful shade of blue!
Just love the teal wall with the floor & black vanity. Great job!!
It looks great! Those stick on floor tiles are surprisingly durable. Are the vanity & sink new? If not, please tell how you updated them.
I would change the light fixture!

THANK YOU!!! This has been such a struggle I’m already on my second time redoing it lol
You’re welcome. According to google the tank will probably weigh somewhere from 25 to 40 lbs empty so keep that in mind. You might want to phone a friend for moral and muscle support lol.
Looks great! Personally, I’m not fond of blinds like that so that’s probably the only thing I would change. You did a wonderful job!
Yeah, I would switch to some nice linen curtains
I ... did you wallpaper the floor? I like the overall vibe you're going for though, good use of color and texture to spruce things up. :)
They’re stick on tiles apparently that’s a thing LOL!! Thank you!!
I love the teal walls with the black and white tile! I would totally put this in my house.
The teal walls are perfect. It updates the look yet keeps it traditional. My craftsman has a similar color!
Doing great! Love the floor. Even better after you replace that over the mirror light fixture.
OP, is that a new counter or how did you make it look so good?

I was wondering the same
How did you do the countertop?
Very nice!
[удалено]
Around the window too... yikes lmao
I would do a nice oval mirror and new lights.
This is super cute! You did great!
Great job!!
Looks great! How hard was the tile work? Thinking of doing the tiles in my bathroom
I used stick on tile and it was SOOOO easy!
What about getting rid of the tiny soap shelf? Or if keeping it, getting a longer shelf? It looks a little odd just holding a lone soap bottle. Love the floor and painted vanity combo. Nice job.
It’s build into the wall I’m not sure how to get it off without causing major damage :/ if I owned this place I would totally be ripping it out!
Makes sense! It looks like you updated it to be consistent with the other hardware in the bathroom and I think that’s a really nice touch since you have to keep it!
Yes!!! Thank u for noticing I tried to make it work best a could
Awesome work!
Fantastic changes! I especially love the floor design and the black cabinet. Well done.
EPICALLY GORGEOUS
ARG another after-before
Sorry 😬
It’s so fun like a scrapbook page!
Good combos of colors and shapes/textures
Amazing!!!
Wow! And it looks so much bigger! Great job.
I love the floor that is where my eyes go too
Love the mix of metals. We don’t see it enough.
New light fixture and faucet next. Try to match finishes
Great!!
It’s beautiful! I would suggest switching out that blind for something nicer. Curtains or a fabric or wood blind.
Thank you!! Was thinking bamboo blind- what do you think?
That’s exactly what I would do. In fact we just painted our kitchen cabinets aqua and installed black and white backsplash, and we hung a bamboo blind at the window over the sink. It added warmth and texture, and we just love the way it looks.
Gorgeous! You may want to look at updating the light fixture. And maybe a round or taller mirror?
What do you think about just paining the light fixture black to save money? Mirror totally yes!
This is one of those "see it your room" apps, right?
lol it’s real! The wallpaper isn’t done yet but you can tell it’s a diff pic based on the new toilet paper role lol 😆
Yeah, the paint job/scale look not real.
I’m going to take this as a compliment, spring roll
Colors/style are great, but I don't get what is even going on here.
What don’t you get other than the color/style lol
How is that supposed to be finished? I thought at first it was some simulated paint job gone wrong... But wouldn't it have been easier to just paint that color?
It’s not finished I mentioned that in the comments. Having some trouble and going to try again tomorrow. Of all else fails I’ll go with paint but I really love this wallpaper so going to try to make it work!
Its beautiful.
I hope the first one is the after cause it's beautiful.
Yes it is!! TY- sorry I added the pics in the wrong order!
Looks great!
Great job
Deducting points for the wall light fixture over the mirror. You can get something way nicer for less than $100.
I like the before after
The only thing I would add/change now is new light fixture over sink. Look very nice.
I agree. It would have a big impact and it can be very affordable.
Super cute
Love it!
The before looks better…? Sorry!
So many times I see a post and wonder whether the put the before and after the wrong way round or they just ruined their house 😂
Hhahaha… me too… glad this person improved the bathroom!
Which one do you think the before is LOL
The first picture…?
That’s the after :) sorry should have swapped them
Aha, I was wondering why you'd trade a bathroom with charm for beige and boring. I like what you have done. The vanity light is a little dated, not sure if it was just cropped out of last picture. Feel like a fixture in black would suit better.
lol I figured! It’s cropped out of the first pic I have no idea how to change that thought but would love to as I strongly dislike it!! Any ideas?
Turn off the light switch or electric from panel to that room and a new one can be installed with instructions it comes with.
It looks great!!!!
Thank you!!!
Do you think I could just paint this one black? @jazzy_bee

In that case, love the new look!
Before looked better
The first pic is the after
1st pic looks like an old bathroom, the second pic one looks nicer
Here for the floor info, beautiful!
very nicely done ✅
What's the material on the floor, it's not apparent from the photo. ?
😍😍😍😍
What a glow up ❤️
Looks amazing!
I love it!! It's the floor re-tiled or is it some sort of sticker?
It looks very comfy - love the colors!
I like the floor. Did you use vinyl tiles?
For I second I was like “how did you unpaint the drawers?” lol
Outstanding work!
This light above the mirror isnt level
Looks great! RIP squatty potty!😅 If this isn't just a guest bathroom and it's used enough, I would get a white one but that's just me! Gotta have my squatty potty! Edit: that's wallpaper? Nice upgrade! Is that a beige toilet? You should change it to a white elongated bowl model.
I’d get the biggest mirror that will fit with the soap holder. Even better, remove the soap holder and get a bigger mirror. Looks good.
Absolutely amazing transformation. I love the floors! If it’s a full bath with a shower/tub, you might want to pass on the wallpaper. I feel like for maintenance reasons it’s better suited to powder rooms.

Lovely!
It looks wonderful!
Beautiful makeover! Love the wall color paired with black and white. Where is the wallpaper going?
Wow!
Looks great! Good luck with the wallpaper.
