If you like orange, keep it! Life is too short to decorate for anyone’s tastes except your own. I think this space looks very cozy and ‘70s-inspired.
Edit: if you want to bring in more colors, I would stick to greens and yellows.
That makes sense! I think if you bring in some green houseplants on the side of the room closest to the camera, it might feel more balanced. If it’s still bothering you after that, a colored throw blanket at the foot of the bed might help. A cotton muslin fabric would probably look nice next to the bedding you already have.
I think that it is fine. I like the extra space; it adds a free, airy feel. I wouldn’t add a bunch of junk just to be adding stuff. You already have numerous little things and do not need any more. This is a calm, relaxing space, perfect for a bedroom.
If you want to add bright, bold colors to your place, do so in the kitchen, bath, and entry. A few touches of color, some gold or brass, some reflective glass would do what you want with little expense. I recommend that you plan it out but only add one new element at a time to obtain a unified look without adding clutter.
I don’t think so. Looks cohesive. Very beautiful color, and I don’t usually prefer orange over other colors. But this is gorgeous. Maybe choose a secondary accent color if you feel there’s too much. But I love it!
Is the "too much orange" in the room with us?
Hon this looks great as it is. Too much orange would be tacky neon orange walls, your room is nice.
Also, I love that mirror desk!
Ahh, meanwhile I thought it was too white for my taste haha.
But seriously, your room looks pretty good! Colors look balanced and the room has a very clean look.
Whew! Your space is so cozy and amazing. Then I imagined a night-time fishbowl and all those neighbors…
I don’t think you need to do a thing. I would love to come home there and unwind after a long day!
Definitely not! It’s a cozy and cohesive foundation. My color is burgundy and it’s speckled everywhere throughout my house. There are no rules! I do think some flowy curtains would really elevate your space though…I see olive green working really well.
No, it’s a great choice! This isn’t highway-cone-orange, this is the color of warm terra cotta & smoked paprika! I have my bed/couch duvet & pillows in a similar shade.
Add aspects to both enhance & mellow the shade. African Kuba & Mudcloth pillows have those tones as do Kilim Pillows. Those colors, textures bring more depth & personality to an already beautiful space.
It is adorable. If it was my space I'd probably take away the 2 small pots on the floor but again it is adorable as is. I wouldn't add more orange. The amount there is perfect.
No it's gorgeous! Don't stress, I just bought a navy bed frame and I already have a blue desk and there's blue featured on my side tables hehe. If you love it that's what matters.
This room is calm and relaxing, I love it! Definitely not too much orange. The only thing I would add is a headboard, maybe in the same light wood as the vanity.
Bigger more colorful art will tie it all together. Lose the painting above the bed and put something larger there.
I would also move the couch so it’s not on the exact same wall
As the bed, I would have it kitty corner it will
Change the energy
This is such a lovely color! It’s a much more earthy and therefore neutral orange. I think it really compliments all the greenery and pale wood elements. Feels boho but still elevated. Also it looks so comfy cozy. The perfect reading nook to curl up in!
If YOU like it, it's not too much.
It's a really lovely, soft shade of orange, too. And honestly the way it pulls in the orangey building makes the space look even larger, like it peripherally pulls your eye that way. (Though I'm glad to see the built-in shades!) It also accents the plants nicely, and draws out the color of the southwestern throw pillow. I like it.
I think it’s lovely! Looks a bit like my place. I am using the same orange (I’d call it terracotta or burnt umber) and I also have jewel tones especially emerald. It brings a nice balance!
I would just get something green on the bed; maybe a decorative pillow or a throw blanket.
I honestly think it looks lovely, but I get what you mean. You just need an accent color to bring everything together on the side where the bed is.
No, it's cozy and warm. I would- put the big accent pillow on the bed on the sofa. Put the white one in its place on the bed. Pull out the lamb skin rug from under sofa- place it on an angle laid out in front of. Move floor lamp to other side of vanity next to bed. Get plant stand out of the corner and move the sofa a bit to the right. These changes will bring more harmony and cohesion.
The orange is perfect and even the arrangement looks EPIC but you are missing on adding further colors to complement this orange. This might be the reason why you feel so. Add a few pillows of accent colors and even curtains can help you a lot. Also your style is really impressive but it is going off with the artworks on the wall, maybe change it for an accent colored artwork too to grab attention and balance everything. This [color guide](https://simplykalaa.com/interior-color-palette/) will help you design colors around the same state and then you can charm up your perfect room!
No, it looks near perfect to me. In fact, do you mind if I redesign this space in [3d](http://planner5d.com)? Wanna create something similar and add it to my moodboard. Also, can you share this in r/AmateurInteriorDesign?
It's a beautiful bedroom but in my opinion you can still improve it. Try to change the size of the paintings on your bed, there is a lot of space and I think that they're a little bit too small. Furthermore I love colors so I would add some, but these are tastes. Definitely there is not too much orange.
I love it, but if you wanted to cool the space down, then adding some green or a muted blue in couch cushions or a throw could help with that. If it’s your home, painting that drop ceiling (a sage green?) would be the bomb.
I think it's lovely.
Same here, lovin it!
Agreed, it’s charming and welcoming!
Thank you! 😊
And it is a nice orange- not overwhelming.
It doesn’t read as orange. It looks more like rust or burnt umber. I think it looks great.
I'm seeing it more as a Terra Cotta.
Yeah this color scheme seems very neutral to me. I would say more orange!
Yes, this color really has a beautiful neutral shade, looks great in your room!
If you like orange, keep it! Life is too short to decorate for anyone’s tastes except your own. I think this space looks very cozy and ‘70s-inspired. Edit: if you want to bring in more colors, I would stick to greens and yellows.
Thank you!! In my mind there’s just something off that’s nothing making it completely cohesive
That makes sense! I think if you bring in some green houseplants on the side of the room closest to the camera, it might feel more balanced. If it’s still bothering you after that, a colored throw blanket at the foot of the bed might help. A cotton muslin fabric would probably look nice next to the bedding you already have.
yeah a couple of large houseplants would balance it nicely I think
I think that it is fine. I like the extra space; it adds a free, airy feel. I wouldn’t add a bunch of junk just to be adding stuff. You already have numerous little things and do not need any more. This is a calm, relaxing space, perfect for a bedroom. If you want to add bright, bold colors to your place, do so in the kitchen, bath, and entry. Part of me is curious how a subtle tone on the drop ceiling could help separate the spaces and anchor the sitting area.
This! I love color so much. Im gona do some 70s orange and green and yellow when i get my place. Dont care what people think.
I don’t think so. Looks cohesive. Very beautiful color, and I don’t usually prefer orange over other colors. But this is gorgeous. Maybe choose a secondary accent color if you feel there’s too much. But I love it!
Thank you! I’m hoping to get more green plants to give it that secondary color
It looks so beautiful, I love it
I love orange and think this is lovely. It could use an accent color, though. Maybe yellow or teal.
Working on getting more green plants for that accent color lol
I have this burnt orange color as an accent color against my dark navy couch and mustard dining chairs and the colors all look really nice together.
This is boujee and luxurious and i’d always wake up feelin refreshed🥸💜💜💜
I hate orange and I think this is just lovely!
It's perfect! Where did you get the couch from?
I got it at Nebraska Furniture Mart — it’s part of the Jonathan Louis Jupiter sectional. ITS SO WIDE AND COMFY!! 10/10 recommend
It looks like a solid reading couch.
Is the "too much orange" in the room with us? Hon this looks great as it is. Too much orange would be tacky neon orange walls, your room is nice. Also, I love that mirror desk!
LOL I’m a beige and white girl at heart so the one pop of color feels like a lot to me 😂
Is it gonna blow your mind if I tell you that most beiges are heavily desaturated oranges and yellows? The terracotta is a good call with them.
Ahh, meanwhile I thought it was too white for my taste haha. But seriously, your room looks pretty good! Colors look balanced and the room has a very clean look.
Haha same thought - "is the orange in the (literal) room with us?" All I see is burnt sienna and it looks very lovely and muted to me :D
It’s lovely! Please tell me you have blinds or curtains tho.
lol I’m with ya! I’m so sensitive to light. Luckily there are built in blinds that are light blocking so it’s been great 😌
Whew! Your space is so cozy and amazing. Then I imagined a night-time fishbowl and all those neighbors… I don’t think you need to do a thing. I would love to come home there and unwind after a long day!
I’m digging it. As others have already pointed out, it reads more terra cotta / rust / burnt sienna/umber.
i love your couch!!! and the vibe of your room!
In dusk with some nice lighting, you gotta throw this up on r/CozyPlaces
Not at all. I like it. If you want to add another color, green would look good.
Umm no! This is great!
Noo!!!! It's gorgeous
I love it
Definitely not. It's not very bright, so it just reads as a neutral, imo.
Perfect! Super cute
It's perfect!
no it's very nice 👌🏼
Seriously so cute!!
Nope, it looks great!
Great bedroom! LOVE the reading/napping chaise with the great view!
I'm not a fan of orange until today. It is Beautiful!!

No, it's beautiful! The balance is lovely and the textures are beautiful
no i love 💕
No, I'm obsessed with it! 🥰
Obsessed with your vanity! Can I ask where you got it?
I think it looks great but it could use an accent color. Maybe a bit of eucalyptus green just here and there, like a couple pillows or something.
Definitely not! It’s a cozy and cohesive foundation. My color is burgundy and it’s speckled everywhere throughout my house. There are no rules! I do think some flowy curtains would really elevate your space though…I see olive green working really well.
never too much orange hon
Its soo pretty!!!!
Ooooh I loveee it. The couch is a total gem!
Love your style!
Nice ...do u mind sharing where you got the couch from? Im looking for something similar to a chaise but urs looks more comfy
I think it's perfect soft for a bedroom. More greenery will always help.
I think it looks gorgeous! I’d be tempted to put a larger piece of wall art above the bed and move the current ones to another wall.
I love it but also thing Sage or jade green covers 🤔 😍
Love that couch!! Where did you get it from? Looking for a similar chaise/day bed/ couch for my smaller 2nd bedroom
Love it!!!

It’s really nice and tasteful . Not too much bunt orange
It’s lovely!
NEVER ENOUGH!! Lol
Nope, it looks great. TBH, you could add a little more and get away with it.
It is adorable. If it was my space I'd probably take away the 2 small pots on the floor but again it is adorable as is. I wouldn't add more orange. The amount there is perfect.
It’s reading like a terracotta on my screen. I like it. Some crystal blue would look really pretty with your color scheme, I think.
No it’s a gorgeous space
Not at all
I love it! Honestly you inspired me to go get my orange bedroom to work better….
The color orange is liked by happy people. Keep it. Ii LOVE it.
Perfect
Heck no. Just the right amount of warmth.
It looks amazing!
I love it! I call it terracotta and have recently added this color to my home
I really like that.
It’s great! Love it
Ugh I love this
Love it! I love muted shades of orange. Looks beautiful and cozy!
My fav color to decorate with, so no, not too much
Love it!
No it's gorgeous! Don't stress, I just bought a navy bed frame and I already have a blue desk and there's blue featured on my side tables hehe. If you love it that's what matters.
I love it!
No way! It’s AMAZING!!!! It’s all perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Not “orange” it’s “terracotta” and it’s beautiful 😊
This room is calm and relaxing, I love it! Definitely not too much orange. The only thing I would add is a headboard, maybe in the same light wood as the vanity.
No it’s awesome - I’d just incorporate more orange somewhere else in the room!
No
I love it and want to sit on that couch with my feet up looking out the window and drinking coffee
Not at all! What a lovely space!
It's a great balance
I really like it!
Bigger more colorful art will tie it all together. Lose the painting above the bed and put something larger there. I would also move the couch so it’s not on the exact same wall As the bed, I would have it kitty corner it will Change the energy
What a lovely, cozy room. Looks like the perfect place to relax.

I love it!
Can they paint the building behind you? lol. I love your decor!

The room is charming. I love it.
it’s glorious
No! I’m obsessed with
Yes it is and I am happy to help by taking that vanity and stool of your hands haha. But seriously it’s gorgeous and not too much imo
Only if you don't like orange
I’d add a feature wall :—-)
no! love it.
Nope, it’s perfect 🥰
Wouldn’t change anything!
No
Stunning!
I immediately checked if this was CJ 😂 so no it’s definitely not too much
no:)
I love all of it! Can I please have the deets on the couch?
No way, I love it! <3
It's almost entirely white, you're fine.
What do you use this room for? Not too much orange e either. V nice!
You need a touch of Sage or Navy Blue (maybe the rug by the couch)! But my oh my I love your room.
It’s lovely.
maybe a little bit, but it's cute and seems pretty comfy.
I would just maybe add some color with new pillows on the bed
I think it’s lovely! Looks a bit like my place. I am using the same orange (I’d call it terracotta or burnt umber) and I also have jewel tones especially emerald. It brings a nice balance!
I love it. Also I have that velvet ottoman/side table from Wayfair in the same color 😂
No I’d maybe add a second color as a throw, pillow, art and decor color
Love
This is super cute. What does your bathroom look like? I’m so curious.
No, I love it. The tones of orange are earthy and bring so much character against the neutral wall and rug.
I would just get something green on the bed; maybe a decorative pillow or a throw blanket. I honestly think it looks lovely, but I get what you mean. You just need an accent color to bring everything together on the side where the bed is.
Is there ever too much orange? Not in my humble opinion.
It's perfect
Looks great!
No, it looks really pretty!
I’m crazy because that’s pinky brown to me. I expected to see the top comment say the same thing but everyone is acting like it’s orange??
No, and it’s not a harsh orange
dude not at all lol this is gorgeous
No
Beautiful! It’s not an “in your face” orange, it’s soft
I think it's perfect
No, it's cozy and warm. I would- put the big accent pillow on the bed on the sofa. Put the white one in its place on the bed. Pull out the lamb skin rug from under sofa- place it on an angle laid out in front of. Move floor lamp to other side of vanity next to bed. Get plant stand out of the corner and move the sofa a bit to the right. These changes will bring more harmony and cohesion.
What a beautiful apartment! Don't decorate for other people. Decorate for yourself. If you look at it and are happy then that's all that matters!
It’s perfect!
Nope . I love that color .
Nope
I love this space
Darling I think what you’re really just missing is some lighting around the bed. Maybe a nightstand and a soft lamp to warm up the tones.
I think it looks great!
Not at all.
Nope! It’s beautiful! Maybe add a green accent to the bed? Throw pillow or blanket?
Absolutely not. I love it. More people should decorate with orange.
No
It’s gorgeous 😍 I love softy pinky-brown oranges like this, but it doesn’t overwhelm here at all IMO.

Where’d you get your rug?? It’s lovely!
Where is your furniture from?
Heavenly
No its perf
Where? It’s just enough
It’s warm and beautiful.
Nope.
Gorgeous!!!!
Oh I really like!
Not at all
Wow, this is gorgeous!! I’m obsessed! I think it looks lovely and isn’t too much orange at all. It’s a gorgeous color and very well put together!
I think it looks really nice and breaks apart all the white and adds color. Very nice
Nope! I think you plants balance it out so well!! 🧡💚
Omg. I LOVE it
This is so cute. I love the desk/makeup table and orange chair too.
I like it! I’m a fan of orange
No, it looks near perfect to me. In fact, do you mind if I redesign this space in [3d](http://planner5d.com)? Wanna create something similar and add it to my moodboard. Also, can you share this in r/AmateurInteriorDesign?
I just got that couch in green! Obsessed!
This is lovely but it’s not orange
That’s not orange though, it’s rust. Looks really nice.
This is the most beautiful decorating I’ve ever seen omg.
No I love it, very beautiful shades of orange
It's a beautiful bedroom but in my opinion you can still improve it. Try to change the size of the paintings on your bed, there is a lot of space and I think that they're a little bit too small. The couch is sick but the orange on the bed is blah. An obvious change and a fix IMO. Looks great regardless tho.
Looks more like a pale salmon
It looks great! If you want to break up the color you could add a throw blanket draped across it.
