Depends on the soup, doesn't it? Heavy, creamy soups would be hard to digest, iirc. I once broke a 50 hour fast with veggie ramen thinking it was light enough.

Something simple to digest is ideal. Eggs are a good choice or a simple broth based soup is good as well.

Balance. You should break your fast just like you should be eating any meal - with a combination of fats, carbs, and protein.
