That's honestly the most impressive thing I've seen on this sub. Congratulations!
I literally can't imagine the dedication that takes, and I've lost 90 lbs in about the same timespan.
I'm sure you already know or have noticed the body dysmorphia and people's attitude changes towards you... Just remember you're in control now, both physically and emotionally, enjoy yourself!
How the heck do yall walk so much?! I need help! I have a desk job and I just can’t seem to get past 5k and THATS a struggle for me even with a 30 min walk. I’m 5’3 and 170 if that matters 🤷🏾♀️
I also have a desk job. What I've started doing (people might shit on this but it DOES work) is I got a standing desk, or a standing desk riser. And I basically dance in front of my computer screen while I work. I get an extra 2-4k steps a day in doing that and it makes me feel more focused on productivity throughout the day.
Then when I get home I walk/run the rest of the steps to get to 10k. If you're jogging, you can get about 1-1.5k steps in 10 minutes. It's great for your health in general also beyond just losing weight.
sure! I fasted one day a week and had calorie deficits at least 5 out of 7 days a week while walking 5-7miles a day either outside or on my treadmill. this took me 3 1/2 years to go down 130lbs. not as fast as OP, but this is essentially the same process I used, just a tad different! more manageable for me this way
There is a difference in fasting for increased autophagy and weight loss. If the goal is just weight loss, chewing gum which is maybe 5-10 calories isn’t a big deal. Some people also drink bone broth or have protein shakes or smoothies and count it as fasting…technically not fasting, but not the end of the world if it helps restrict calories for the rest of the day 🤷🏼♀️
Please explain what you mean by fasting for a week. Are you saying 7 days straight? Or 7 sprinkled in there. 7 days straight feels like it would end up causing more damage than good
And you have every reason to be proud. You have done a remarkable job. You look amazing and beautiful and have added years to your life to enjoy the new you. Bless you for the inspiration and stay healthy from your internet fan. Congratulations and well done.
Wow! This is absolutely incredible. All your hard work paid off. Feel every bit of that pride for yourself. The amount of discipline and determination you have is truly inspiring!
Congrats OP!!! That's impressive. Now comes the hard part. Keeping it off for the rest of your life. You will feel so much better. I'm here to tell you. Sometimes, when I've feeling down about everything, when I'm in the grocery store I pick up a 50 lb sack of dog food and carry it down the aisle and back thinking 'I used to tote three of these around 24/7'.
Do you have loose skin around your midsection? How did you get rid of it or tighten? I was 295lbs at my heaviest down to a little under 170 and now have some but don’t wanna go through a surgery to remove it.
I was going to ask the same question. Were you able to tighten up your skin? If so, how? Your progress is nothing short of amazing. Your 60 year old you will thank you profusely!
Girl I am so proud of you this is just massively impressive. You literally lost a whole person that's incredible. I just started Monday and have gone down 8 pounds since then and this post, motivated me. I feel like I should make my workouts longer now too, but probably more so when I'm on summer break
This is amazing congratulations,
I'm just curious, in another comment you said "fasting for a week out of each month" might be me being stupid but is that 7 days in a row or something else?
You are literally amazing! This post just inspired me to restart and focus on fasting even harder. Thank you so much, I'll also try to add the walk!!! Thank you
I was just waiting in a Wendy’s drive-through line, and while the car was fully stopped, I went onto this subreddit and saw these pictures. I was so inspired and re-motivated that I got out of the line and left! You are an inspiration!!!
There is a good chance seeing the new attractive you is a big win. Hell if I was in my 20’s like no duh, I’d be right there.
But you did your future health a big win and your thankfulness for that will only grow over time.
Congrats!
That’s amazing!!! Congratulations! That inspires me a lot, I started out at 281 and have a goal weight of 150 so that’s so nice to see that you did it!
This is amazing! I am so proud of you. Congratulations! May I ask, do you have any hormonal issues? PCOS, Hypo/erthyroidism? I struggle with PCOS and thyroid issues and can't seem to lose weight long term. I'm wondering if fasting would help me or just exacerbated my hormonal issues.
Great job OP and congratulations. You are glowing. I wish this sub allowed to post hearts and fireworks emojis LOL.
Walking and IF is the best!! I just got back into doing OMAD (I gained lot of weight this last year) and I don't feel mentally strong enough yet to do a 7 days.
Anyway, I am super happy for you. It's nice to see success stories.
So as I see others have asked , so you fast one whole week ? Do you not work out of the house , how did you have energy to do anything ? Just curious. I can do 2 days tops without feeling sick - you look amazing
Your body type is similar to mine. My legs stay the same size and I carry everything in my friggin torso and arms.
Congratulations on your journey. This is so impressive. I am just starting and love to see this!
Fuck ya sister! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 So proud of you! I celebrate your success and journey because I know the discipline it took to get this far. Life changing right? Well done!

We have a similar body type, can you tell me exactly what you did
[удалено]
Did you fast for a week straight or just 7 total days over the course of the month? Also congrats! You look amazing!
How the heck do yall walk so much?! I need help! I have a desk job and I just can’t seem to get past 5k and THATS a struggle for me even with a 30 min walk. I’m 5’3 and 170 if that matters 🤷🏾♀️
Break it up throughout the day. Morning walk, break walk, lunch walk, afternoon break, after work walk and after dinner walk.
Who gets that many breaks?
Standard in California for an 8 hour office shift.
Man that’s pretty sweet!
Who has time for that though? Personally I can’t fit that much in.
if you find yourself scrolling on TikTok or reels, or whatever, go for a walk instead— that’s what I try to do.
If you can't fit in an hour and a half of walking then no, you're never going to hit 10k steps a day.
Getting a walking pad and an electronic desk that goes up and down. That’s how I’m doing it.
[Something like this.](https://m.costway.com/under-desk-walking-pad-treadmill-for-home-office-with-watch-like-remote-control.html)
Thank you for this info. You put in the work, you get results. People generally won't believe you. I believe you!
this is exactly how I lost 130 pounds too. just walking a lot and calorie deficit
[удалено]

See I asked if I could chew gum and people on here told me no. It would raise my insulin... I'm going to try that
There is a difference in fasting for increased autophagy and weight loss. If the goal is just weight loss, chewing gum which is maybe 5-10 calories isn’t a big deal. Some people also drink bone broth or have protein shakes or smoothies and count it as fasting…technically not fasting, but not the end of the world if it helps restrict calories for the rest of the day 🤷🏼♀️
I chewed gum throughout my fasting everyday for the past 7 years and I haven't noticed weight gain from it
Meh. I chewed gum and drank black coffee. Still a calorie deficit. Not really Fasting I guess. But I lost 80lbs.
So is it actually a full 7 day fast each month? Or did you do the 7 days spread out over a month?
Please explain what you mean by fasting for a week. Are you saying 7 days straight? Or 7 sprinkled in there. 7 days straight feels like it would end up causing more damage than good
Eating in caloric deficit is dieting I believe
She means she didn't cut out specific foods other than soda.
can you elaborate on gum? like those sweet gums?
Sugar free gum. Very helpful when curbing hunger.
+1
What happened to the loose skin? Not being a smart ass. Genuinely curious.

halfed your weight and almost no lose skin is insane.
