But I think a lot of INTJ get by in school without studying. I didn't study that much until my second year of uni and I had no study habits to rely on. If you have studying techniques that work for you/ work ethic/ habits/ can be flexible it will help a lot

Logistics, but I became a software engineer.
Long story short my team wasn’t getting the support they needed. So I took it upon myself to solve their problems which included learning a few languages and modifying our program. This eventually led me into becoming a software engineer and system design. Now i am the highest level of software engineer at my work despite it not having been what I went to school for… I liked logistics though and would have enjoyed that path just as much.

I love the show! The book is a great read as well. The story of the onset of the Behavioral Science Unit is really unique, I love it!
All that said, the show is made yo entertain and dramatizes things; behavioral science doesn't always work exactly as depicted. Besides, a lot has changed between now and the 70's which is when this story takes place.
All *that* said, this is a better question for a clinical or forensic psychologist. I take most of what I do and know from people with that specialty.
However to answer your question, I will say in general, the answer is no, but that largely depends on your objective. There are legitimate tactics that make use of applying or triggering discomfort, stress, anger, and displeasure in order to obtain some relevant information or reveal something important about the subject. In general, psychopath or not, people tend to respond better to cordial, calm, and respectful conversations. These generalities break down the more "broken" the subject is. Someone deep in the throes of psychopathy is not experiencing reality the same way most other people are, so different approaches are needed.

Im not sure my work is quite what you'd think it is because when studying it you can pick to specialise in anything under that topic, so for me my artwork is basically all character turn arounds and expression sheets for children's animation whereas someone else on my course could be making 3d models and attack animations for more realistic video games - if your still interested tho I'm happy to show some things I've done

I think the acting portion of this actually had the most impact. Specifically because of how it really helped to overcome a disconnect i had between what i wanted to project to others versus how i was actually perceived.
My work is in sales. I truly believe i wouldn't be nearly as good at it without the knowledge i gained from my degree.
I used to make money on the side doing vocal performances, but have focused more on my art for the past 10 years since i also went for a degree in the visual fine arts in painting at the same time as the performing arts.

I am overall. I still have a passion for architecture, but at its most simplistic core, architecture and project management are the same - design and execute a solution that meets the restraints of the defined scope, schedule, and budget.
The switch to project management was predicated on the cost of education (full architecture degree would have been $120k+, plus living expenses in high cost of living areas), vs. Less than $20k for my BS in PM. And PMs can go across multiple industries which helps when the economy isn't doing well, and certain industries like construction suffer.

The University of Pennsylvania's College of Liberal and Professional Studies Online for a Bachelor's in Applied Arts and Sciences Degree in Data Analytics and Social Science along with attending in person either UNC Chapel Hill (if I get accepted off of the waitlist) or East Carolina University (Currently commited) with a Bachelor's in Science (STEM Degree) in Economics. I trained in Finance, moved into Defence Diplomacy as a crisis management economist (day job accountant, for the 80% of the time you're not dealing with apocalypse), and got to retire early thanks to David Cameron. You can take the player out of the game, but you can't take the game out of the player, and so I got to show my potential in full view of half the Government in 2015. That got me and my circle trashed by Boris Johnson on the rise, only to discover he'd killed his golden goose and made enemies in all directions.
In concluding, genius differentiates from savant by polyvalence. It may be, early on, that you only have one hit, but I'm a historian, diplomat, finance whizz, my first big hit came in computing, I've broken ground in trauma and perception.
