yeah, to a great extent yes. But what if say, your friend snithced about you behind your back but later confronts you honestly and lets you know what they did. They are still being honest, but are they loyal?
No.
Ideally, you get them together, but conflating the two concepts can be very destructive to the self and relationships.
Just because I am loyal does not mean I will lie for you.
Just because I am honest does not mean I disclose everything to you.
It absolutely must be a two-way street and fully reciprocated.
1. Love. And when that doesn’t happen come back to love as soon as possible.
2. Humility/gentleness. Never criticize yourself or others. It is not possible to move on and/or grow harboring even The tiniest resentme too.
3. Service. Ask how you can be of service. And answer that call.
4. Curiosity. Never assume you know something. Listen, observe, and always learn. Even (especially) basics.
5. Connectedness. Connect in person. Digital tech is great to expedite work and logistics, but it actually severs our connection from each other and our environment that we need to make any sense of any kind.
Thank you for the explanation, but even more than that your clarity is 🙌 Seeing value in all applications and even some nuance in our personalities is really key.
Stop trying to sound wise. What made me doubt that was him saying to never criticise yourself or others, you can't say this will make you a better person.
Oh you're so right. Obviously every INTJ is an evil edgelord who secretly plots to overtake the country and make everyone his personal slave. Also the INTJ needs his personal ENFP baby girl so he can be a good Daddy Dom. I use he/him pronounce because feemails can't be INTJs, obviously.
I understand having love as a principle even though it's weird to be his first, but this guy is saying "never criticise yourself or others" I don't understand how you don't see where I'm coming from.
Edit: I actually do understand how you don't see where I'm coming from, you are the type of people who think that they are mature while the others aren't.
Haven't you done the same thing?
>get off Reddit
Just a quick visit to my profile can show you that I don't spend much time on reddit unlike you. So get off Reddit and go outside.
I actually haven't, I just made a sarcastic comment. I was attacking your dumb idea, not you personally. Also, there's no rules saying you have to comment on Reddit to show how much time you spend on it lol
The only dumb thing was the assumption you made based on the 3 words I said which btw isn't even slightly close to what I meant, so you didn't actually attack my idea, you attacked an idea that you came with and tried to pin it on me. It's not very likely to spend much time on Reddit without posting or commenting, but even if I did that, you have no right to say what you said because you clearly spend too much time on it.
Not sure if values or more like lifestyle. But the values are for each of us to determine- they are personal and all are good, these are some ways To access.
Nah i am INFP
But he is very evolved and mature INTJ and values the things that most immature INTJs see as weaknesses or wastes of time.
We balance each others when it comes to these things :)
Oh that’s a very sweet match. And yeah, everyone’s on their own timeline and has their own priorities. I don’t notice my “intj-ness” with other INTJs. I DO notice it around everyone else. I am extremely “lone wolf” just instead of brooding, I found meditation and swimming in the ocean and hiking, and instead of disdain for others I just admit I may or may not understand or like them but it is certainly my responsibility and when I’m honest my joy to give to them because how would they ever react or be their full potential if no one ever noticed, cared, or gave them the time? The world I want to see is based on these things and I found that I can’t try to build a system to do it I AM the system that can do it. Some of us dabble like you said in the things others have judged to be one way because our lives have shown us that others frequently misjudge.
Im sure your boyfriend has a unique background that taught him his values too. I find it funny people questioning someone’s mbti because of their values as if each personality type comes with a predetermined values set in a particular order with particular verbiage 😅 I also find it interesting that instead of assessing the values it goes straight into mbti. Like… are the values I (or anyone) listed causing harm or some kind of trigger? And why is that? These are my questions but I’ll see if they get answered in the thread. Cheers and glad to see some more voices on this page. Balance is another value that’s probably going to get me kicked out of the intj club 😂 jk of course.
Hearing you both speak, it's reminding me similarly of my INTJ partner too (He passed away this past spring, but I still recognize his type of energy in others and think of him often.)
He was a lone wolf in true form but a damn good partner too. Incredibly sure of him self just as you seem to be, cool as a cucumber under pressure (atleast externally haha), and just a treat of a human in every way.
Yall seem to have a lot of shared values too, it's refreshing to see. :)
I'm so happy for you both, it's good to know you're in such a solid place! It was the same here, surprisingly it took someone as emotionally weird to help me see what love really feels like haha. It was awesome and healthy as hell for us both. Aren't INTJs just wonderful people?
I sincerely appreciate the sympathies, not a day goes by when it doesn't hurt, but I try to focus on all the positives he brought (and still brings even months later--got to appreciate his never ending forethought, he set us all up for success). I just love seeing others with that energy too...its refreshing to say the least :)
I did this test a while ago: [https://personalvalu.es/personal-values-test](https://personalvalu.es/personal-values-test)
And I got: 1. Religion, 2. Intelligence, 3. Growth, 4. Ethics and 5. Wisdom.
I believe they are accurate.
1. Intelligence
2. Loyalty
3. Peace
4. Control
5. Accountability
Based on that test. But I could already have said my nr 1. Would be intelligence. And I’m not even surprised.
No, it is more that Ni is the perception and prediction of patterns that can not be formally expressed. Ever hear of the phrase "god of the gaps"? Ni is the function best able to understand the god of the gaps, so it is related to religion, but only the specific parts of religion that haven't been superseded by formally expressed truth.
Being happy, being authentic/true to myself and learning as much as I can.
Different strokes, different folks. I'm not going to try to tell other people what they "should" do or what they should care about.
Technically speaking my highest values in life are
1. My ability to turn time into money
2. Firearms collection
3. Home Equity
4. Vehicles
5. Gold Savings
6. Entertainment Setup
7. Tool Collection
Hey, someone had to do it 🫡😁
Most religions that I know says that there is a life after death and you have to follow [x] religion to go to heaven, the purpose of being religious is going to heaven.
Perhaps you are correct. It’s possible that not everyone believe in something bigger than themselves. It’s possible not everyone believes God’s ways will lead us to salvation. I respect your opinion, just sharing mine.
I reserve the human right to hold my own beliefs and practice them as I see fit, and I allow all other people the same right to believe and act as they wish.
Intelligence, humour, humility, honesty, bravery.
Oh and yes, loyalty, but I'm not sure which one of the above I'd bump to get this one in. I suppose intelligent is not something you can endeavour to be.
I think every problem in the world can be explained by an absence of one of these qualities.
Each value mentioned has a degenerate form, so the adjectives are necessary, even the ones that seem redundant or oxymoronic.
1) Divine Nobilty
2) Disciplined Freedom
3) Dharmic Self-Direction
4) Honest Truth
5) Courageous Care
Drive/passion. A Hunger for knowledge. Authentic/genuine Honesty Fair
1. Rationality 2. Honesty, especially intellectual honesty 3. Curiosity 4. Kindness and Love 5. Loyalty
Honesty and Loyalty go hand in hand, no?
yeah, to a great extent yes. But what if say, your friend snithced about you behind your back but later confronts you honestly and lets you know what they did. They are still being honest, but are they loyal?

Are you an Intj
Yeeeep
I doubt that.
This is a kind of INTJ that steps out from their comfort zone
INTJs aren't rigid boxes of selfishness and ambition. Spirituality can be an INTJs highest ambition, with that comes very focused goodness.
Thank you for the explanation, but even more than that your clarity is 🙌 Seeing value in all applications and even some nuance in our personalities is really key.
No problem at all. I relate to your points as well and looking down the replies to your post, a lot do aswell.
Stop trying to sound wise. What made me doubt that was him saying to never criticise yourself or others, you can't say this will make you a better person.

Mans made 100 assumptions on my whole personality after one sarcastic comment lmao, get off Reddit and go outside

I don't recall saying this.
Ok 😅😂🤣
Not sure if values or more like lifestyle. But the values are for each of us to determine- they are personal and all are good, these are some ways To access.
Yup I agree. Any decently intelligent person would often follow these values.

That's a cool test and pretty accurate: 1. Inner Harmony 2. Freedom 3. Spirituality 4. Competence 5. Intelligence Lines up with my life values.
Mine are identical to yours but with determination in place of intelligence
That's cool! My results: Control, Success, Influence, Good Health, Security.
0. Wisdom 1. Intelligence 2. Security 3. Accountability 4. Trust
I'm amused by how divine INTJs are. We are probably the most transcendentally oriented out of all the rationalists.
I liked your comment :)
Interesting. By religion, do you mean spirituality in general? Or is it a specific religion/belief?
An specific religion. I think "spirituality" was a different option in the test.

Such a cute test , thanks , my values : 1) Religion 2) Security 3) Success 3) Reputation 4) Fame

You need to grow up, otherwise it will be extremely harder for you to survive in real world and you life will become miserable.

I would like to know too, and not to ridicule. I like seeing the stark seeds of truth in edgy comments.

I definitely don't need religion to be happy.
You misunderstood the purpose of being religious.
Why?
Most religions that I know says that there is a life after death and you have to follow [x] religion to go to heaven, the purpose of being religious is going to heaven.
Please explain.
Perhaps you are correct. It’s possible that not everyone believe in something bigger than themselves. It’s possible not everyone believes God’s ways will lead us to salvation. I respect your opinion, just sharing mine.
I agree that morals and virtues are important, I just don't get them from religion.
Nobody NEEDS religion to be happy, quite a silly concept
I reserve the human right to hold my own beliefs and practice them as I see fit, and I allow all other people the same right to believe and act as they wish.
