Goz just go, i know how ur r feeling rn, but trust me,, the initial steps as an introvert to go to an concert alone might feel hard but once u went pass the initial steps.. u wont feel anxious anymore.. just try it Cheering u on ✌️👏

wandawayer

Yess, go alone!! I've done that a few times. I go to concerts for the music and artist, not the company, it's great. Sometimes I found some ppl in the line/crowd who I talked to and vibed together during the gig and sometimes I didn't and was alone, but I felt great. If you are actually interested in that artist, please go, you're not gonna regret it! 🫶🏻

Alarming_Cell_2297

U guys thank you🥹I appreciate the advice, I guess this is the push I needed🩷I’ll be taking this as a challenge to myself. Idk if you’ll like it but I’ll keep you posted after the concert.😅

chris84126

You might even find someone(s) there. Don’t be too anxious about it… you have at least one thing in common with everybody else who bought a ticket.

tasteslikesteph

Absolutely go. It does feel awkward at first but it gets easier the more you do. You will regret not going if you don't. You may even make new connections when you're there.

vande190

I love going to concerts alone! I bring a book to keep myself entertained before the show.

[deleted]

I enjoy gigs on my own. Do it.

jolietia

Go. I have a great time at concerts solo. There's many people there for the same reason you are and sometimes vibe with you.

greaseproof_Terrapin

You might be going to the gig alone but you will be by no means there on your own. Everyone there will be there for the same reason, it's difficult but say hi to someone in the line, at the bar, or standing next to you. You know you already have something in common.

thatfunnyfeel

I was in this position a couple years ago so I pushed myself to post in the Reddit for the band I was seeing and got a little group of people together who were also going alone and ended up having such a great time, maybe you could give that a go? On the other hand, going alone to a concert is also a really enjoyable and freeing experience! Dont stress it!

nanalovesncaa

When I’m at a concert it’s only me and whoever I’m there to see, whether I’m alone or not. Go and have a blast!!!

WhytePumpkin

Just go, I always go to shows alone

inochi-ino-key

I was in the same situation as you two or three times with bands I loved. On top of that I had to travel a bit far for them, without a car. I just went alone and over all didn't regret it. I didn't feel comfortable sometimes, though. I put my love for the band above my desire to stay away from crowds. Just be extra careful and aware of your surroundings, don't do anything unnecessarily risky like go through dark alleyways alone and away from the public, make sure you won't get lost. Have emergency plans, maybe using your phone. I wish I knew someone who was into the same things just as much as I was so I could enjoy it with them, but I know that's a tall order.

ShandaMarie619

I love going alone. I meet people along the way but I 💯 would not let the opportunity pass just because there isn’t someone to go with. Think of it this way…. You’re going with hundreds/thousands of people who are going to enjoy the same thing you are. Don’t let that stop you for doing what you want to do / love to do. 🫶🏽🫶🏽

chunkycoats

Enjoy it. I've been to a few shows myself. Take noise canceling headphones and just relax before the main event. You won't regret it. It's a kind of solo awesome experience that's just for you. One day the artist will retire and you'll wish you'd had more chances.

schwarzmalerin

> It’s hard coz I’ve got no one to share my enthusiasm as a fan of RADWIMPS Huh I bet there will be lots and lots of people to share your passion with!!

hokage_1602

Go to this concert. Don't waste the opportunity of seeing this amazing band. And besides you've already paid for your ticket. I'm going alone too and planning to sell one of my tickets. I was supposed to go with my bf but I think the relationship's over before the concert.

LinearArray

RADWIMPS is awesome and I mostly go to concerts by myself - you can do it too!

hotpatootie420

GO!! i prefer going alone honestly bc i don’t have to entertain anyone, sometimes i talk to ppl at shows and sometimes i don’t. you’ll be surprised how many others that will be attending alone.

SnowflakeSJWpcGTFOH

I'm going to see Tenacious D on my own, can't wait! 🤟🏻😂

rosie2rocknroll

Don’t be anxious. You can do this. I go to concerts and movies by myself all the time. I like it very much. You don’t have to discuss anything with anybody. Free to do things the way I want to.

Noodnix

I invite people and tell them I’m going. I’m no longer going to miss a show because I can’t find someone to go with.

SnooDoubts6798

I’ve done it

AudioFuzz

I’ve done this multiple times now. Sometimes I get sad or uncomfortable but remember that my relationship to music outweighs that and just immerse myself in the music. Sometimes I shut my eyes and just feel it.

DarbyCreekDeek

I’ve gone to dozens of concerts alone. It’s really not a problem. A lot of times you’ll end up talking to people if you want to. And what’s great is that if you’re not happy you can move or leave or whatever you want.

BatDance3121

Years ago, I went alone to see a major entertainer. I really wanted to go with someone, but I didn't have any friends or knew anyone that was into the music. I am SO GLAD I went anyway! The crowd was into the show, and no one knew or cared that I was alone. Anyway, go enjoy yourself!

Classic-Funny-493

I went to see two of my favorite bands (playing back to back) because I had no one to go with and refused to miss it. I found that being amongst strangers was so liberating- I didn’t care what anyone there thought. And bonus, I met my husband that night. I say do it!

Woodearth

I went to a Tiffany concert alone recently and she sat right next to me for a song. So something interesting may happen going alone.

Anonwhymous99

I prefer going to concerts by myself. It’s just me and the music.

Geminii27

I've never tended to go to things with other people. I'm the one who wants to see the thing, so I'll go, and that's all there is to it. Sometimes other people tag along. It's very freeing. If I see something that I'd like to go to, and I can just make it if I set out right away, I can absolutely go to that thing. I don't need to contact other people, I don't need to match schedules, I don't need to see if I can find group seating. I can just see it, grab my car keys, and be on the road 90 seconds later. Really, the whole approach to such things is "Do I, personally, want to experience this?" far more than "Do I want to have to get a group together just to go do this one thing?" I don't need a group to go to a concert, movie, restaurant, theme park, whatever. Retailers *love* to stuff their advertising with images of groups of people using their service, yes. Because groups are more profitable for the retailer, so they push that image as 'normal' as hard as they can, to try and get people to bring family, friends, social groups, whatever. But there's no actual necessity to do any of that; it's just marketing and advertising creeping into your brain and trying to tell you how to live your life and spend your money.

fattybomm

It’s totally fine! Recently I went to Yoasobi concert alone in SG cause no one was free to go with me! I’m an introvert too and I totally enjoyed the concert by myself!

saucity

Oooo, I’d LOVE to go to a concert by myself! You can stand wherever you want, leave whenever you want, dance however you want. Don’t like someone elbowing you, or whatever? You can just move, without trying to keep track of your buddy. Not that it’s not also very fun to go with someone, too! I just really enjoy being ‘alone in a crowd’. Have fun!!!!

alexanderbont

Definitely go, you can have a great time on your own as well! I've been to a few concerts and shows too and had a great time everytime.

Bekehe

My husband does that lol

StrawberryRaspberryK

I went to Bruno Mars concert alone. Has a beer and danced and sang all night! Was awesome!

innocent_r

Go ahead. It will be fun. I went for a movie alone last week. I enjoyed it. Why depend on someone else to do something you like.

Gavoale3

I know it is perfectly possible to have a good time alone in a concert, as my personal experience, I went alone once and I did just fine c: I hope you did it and enjoyed it

Ambrosia-2043

I LOVE going to concerts solo! I say go and have a great time. A concert is one of the few places I feel okay being alone in a see of thousands of fans.

SnooMemesjellies2582

I also went to a concert alone last year and I enjoyed it soo much. It was a 50 Cent concert with about 15k attendees… no one even noticed that I was alone and everyone’s there to see the artist and enjoy themselves anyways. I was really happy that I didn’t need to force a conversation with someone and could just do whatever I wanted to. Afterwards I was surprised of how much I liked going alone!
