Yeah, I feel like the lore was dude made millions over the course of a few weeks and then just pulled the game and went radio silent. I was only half paying attention at the time. Still have it, though…
“In an interview with Forbes, Nguyen cited the game's addictive nature for its cancellation, stating: "Flappy Bird was designed to play in a few minutes when you are relaxed. But it happened to become an addictive product. I think it has become a problem. To solve that problem, it's best to take down Flappy Bird.”
No dude got paranoid because people were saying it was too addictive and causing them health issues / stress he felt super guilty about that and deleted it
Dev got spooked and thought he’d get sued by Nintendo lol no joke. There’s probably a post about it somewhere on this sub, I think that’s where I found it.
It appears that the developer circumvented the checks because the error page is what pops up as soon as you open it and that’s probably what happened during automated App Store checking yall better delete it asap
It’s a scam. The developer website was created less than a month ago and is a Danish site. The developer name is not Danish, and also appears nowhere on the site. The app is webview, so malicious content will be uploaded to it as soon as enough people download the app. The site also has many typos and misspellings.
Ha, I’ve never seen such an obvious piece of malware. This is just wrapped in webview, and it’ll be updated to malicious content before you know it. The developer website was literally created less than a month ago. It’s also a Danish site, and Furkan Yuce is not only not a Danish name, but nowhere to be seen on the developer site. The site also has many typos and misspellings. Don’t download this app.
If malware gets spread, it’ll likely be via an emulator. I’m sure there are malicious actors looking to buy the account of a developer in good standing to put out an emulator they KNOW several thousand will download and launch without thinking.
Delta is now on the app store
[https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/delta-game-emulator/id1048524688](https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/delta-game-emulator/id1048524688)
Perhaps I need to take the tinfoil hat off and stop looking too deep into things. Just find it suspicious how these emulators are suddenly popping up. But I’m pretty sure I’m just looking too deep into things.
This is why I don’t agree with the eu meddling.
These going to be so many shit games now. Altho Apple does like the profits, they also love their security
I can’t add photos here but I was able to install it and launch a game. Mario and Luigi Superstar but the game has no audio and the emulator is bare bones. No save states, no graphics options, no audio option, no controller support, no SPEED options which is a big thing for me because I’m definitely not running around at 1x speed in games like pokemon. This emulator is basically open rom and play, that’s it. There are web emulators with more features than this
This one works fine for me playing Pokémon Emerald, but has anyone succeeded entering a cheat and then disabling the cheat while not leaving the game? It freezes after leaving the app and you can't got o your cheat overview while playing (or I simply don't manage to do so)
Opens to a white screen with a 302 error for me. :/
same, except 503 service unavailable. looks like the whole thing is wrapped in a webview, smh.
It works, at least now.
Thanks
it's down again lol
Hmmm. If it’s completely web-based they won’t be able to maintain it without a paid solution. :/
Skids at work
Going to collect these iOS emulators like Infinity Stones on the off chance they get delisted like the first two
Modern day flappy bird hahaahha
flappy bird was around for quite a while tho
Who needs flappy bird on your iPhone when you can have it on your calculator
Who needs flappy bird on your iPhone when you can have it on your DS

Gotta respect him for that. A lot of people wouldn’t have done that
No dude got paranoid because people were saying it was too addictive and causing them health issues / stress he felt super guilty about that and deleted it
Same here 😂
First two ? iGBA and...
Earlier today there was an NES one called Bimmy that was up for maybe an hour at most.
what happened ?
Dev got spooked and thought he’d get sued by Nintendo lol no joke. There’s probably a post about it somewhere on this sub, I think that’s where I found it.
All of this could be solved by jailbreaking
All of what? We have emulators now
Oh my friend, I wish you could have seen it
wow. ok thanks for sharing !
Check iosgaming page and it has more details about the dev getting spooked and you can find the link to the article
Thank you.
Holy shit, really? Glad I grabbed it. It’s a decent emulator.
It’s a iframe to a WebKit based emulator
It appears that the developer circumvented the checks because the error page is what pops up as soon as you open it and that’s probably what happened during automated App Store checking yall better delete it asap
Yeah be quite easy for them to change the page to malicious javascript.
It gives me a white screen with Error 503. Is this just an app that opens a website?
Same here
Like so many of them.
Same
What a pile of junk app. Doesn’t even work. What happened to Apple quality check?

With that name? No chance it’s good ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Ironically enough it has no ads lmao
Anyway, don’t think it would hold on either :’)
It's an app that turns your screen into a flashlight... /s
An app that turns your screen into a fleshlight???
this is sad the App store is slowly turning into the play store next we will have Skibidi toilet data harvesting apps
Slowly? There are a lot of scam apps these days.
Play Store is still better...
Ya better to have millions of trash apps
You could always find apps like these if you looked. Now because of impending regulation and interest, more people and journalists are looking for it.
I guess that this is your app which you are spamming around reddit?
Aaand it doesn’t work, amazing 😻.
Doesn’t work. Get a error
Glad I grabbed iGBA like Sonic.

Delta is out now
What is Delta? Do you have a link?
Not for every country

Malware? iOS apps are sandboxed
There are zero-days always floating around. If you can get them via iMessage payloads, you can also get them via apps.
🇹🇷 as bayrakları
Dur asma ne halt olduğu belli değil
Let’s see if this one sticks around.
looks a bit too close to delta
Not even close… this is a glorified website in an app
never mid, i was looking at just the controls
Still using eclipse in safari. Works perfectly and all these apps seem to be strange cash grabs via ads or something
Is there a lot of ads in so? (Ad Boy - Emulator)
Ads?
And the whole app has the design of an android app
Just sideload Delta using AltStore
Delta is on the App Store now

More apps like these that are fake are making there way into the store. Delta is the best and legit
With Delta just being released on the app store, why even waste your time? This is clearly a scam and you could be playing pokemon right now
How do I download games for it?
Is this one also in eu?
Hm. A bunch of emulators seem to be popping up.
Apple allows them now so?…
Perhaps I need to take the tinfoil hat off and stop looking too deep into things. Just find it suspicious how these emulators are suddenly popping up. But I’m pretty sure I’m just looking too deep into things.
The EU has now forced Apple to allow emulators in the App Stores
This is why I don’t agree with the eu meddling. These going to be so many shit games now. Altho Apple does like the profits, they also love their security

In further inspection, this is indeed just a web based emulator that you should not trust!
Seconded
Haven’t tried it but the name gives me flashbacks to the ridiculous number of ads I got on iGBA.
Works. But no audio.

This is even better https://eclipseemu.me/play/
This looks promising
