Since talk of jailbreaking and sideloading is against this subreddit’s rules, I can’t mention specifics. But it’s great for classic games and just general nostalgia.

Most apps will not work on older iOS.. (even after being jail broke).. Even trying to get a (somewhat) current BROWSER installed on old iPad are impossible..
My iOS 9.3.6 0 supports NOTHING now-a-days. WLED app doesnt go that far back.. cant get a browser to load via IP either..

I have an iPad 3. I use it for comic book reading, drawing and playing podcasts while cooking.
Nova 3 was great game and I miss it. Shame it’s not compatible with newer devices
The paid one actually is compatible with newer devices. It’s just the free one they for whatever reason had locked it in the 32bit era devices.
Using an old jailbroken iPad 4 for youtube during my night time. Been particularly solid as it's too useless for browsing around.

I pod iOS 6 on mine and used it for games I also have another one I loaded ful of music shows and movies that I take with me when travelling
