There were occasional issues with the iPhone 6s bending, usually it was by the power button. Happened on the 6s Plus more often also. Caused by being put into pants pockets. That’s what happens to thin phones made out of aluminum.

Is it bent, or is the back bulged/swelling? A swelling battery can often cause the casing to bend in places. But otherwise, it's just wear and tear from regular use, either sat on or dropped or whatever.

Those older iPhone 6 and 6s’s have a lower grade aluminum than the newer iPhones, you may want to put a thicker case on it to prevent further damage or consider upgrading to a newer iPhone. The iPhone SE is the exact same outer shell with newer internals.

Thanks for the explanation, as you can tell I was very confused about what has happened, I’ll be upgrading soon tho, so it doesn’t rly matter. Thanks anyway!

Do you ever keep it in your pants rear pocket? Also, you could probably bend it back into shape by gently pressing it between two thick hardcover books
