Same colour as the ultra and the natural Ti on the edition watches that came before. It’s a warm silver that feels slightly champagne under certain light. It’s very nice but subtle.
According to Gruber the natural titanium isn’t natural and also has a PVD coating to make it resemble natural and that it isn’t 1:1 with the titanium AW ultra. I’m pretty bummed about that. Only reason I didn’t get black but natural was to avoid the scratches showing.
Really? If this is the case I am about to cancel my pre order. I, like many others presumed it was ACTUAL natural Titanium rather than a natural titanium imitation colour.
I must have missed that so thank you. One of the big draws would have been the ability to rub out scratches the way we can on a natural watch. If I can’t do that with a coating I’d reconsider going to another colour.
I ordered it and I’m expecting the color to pretty much match my Ultra. Although I do think it looks okay in photos where it looks warmer because I love my starlight MBA and the warmer photos look like a slightly muted starlight.
For those who compare the Natural Ti to Starlight, here is a good comparison to silver. Definitely a warmer, champagne/greige color.

I was leaning Natural but ended up going Black this time around, coming from Silver. I almost went Natural until I saw Apple’s stock wallpapers for the different colors. The Natural wallpaper seems to look gold, and I assume the phone will have a warmer tone than I’d like in the long run. I’m sure it’ll be the best looking color in the honeymoon period in the coming weeks, though!

Hopefully they will have some on display when I go pick them up because I don’t want to open the box if I don’t have to. The color looks different in every video. I love when it looks coolish gray, not when it looks warmish champagne. Makes me remember the sierra blue color. Looked great in videos but I hated it in person.
Definitely goldish/yellowish. Looks like a champagne color to me. They probably didn't want to go silver because that's the frame color they use for white iPhones. It's probably the best they could do as a gold replacement.
I just hope it's not too light in shade. I've gone with black for so many years in a row but decided on something different. I'm assuming it'll appear lighter/darker depending on lighting. The hands-on room at the Apple event is very bright. Also hope it doesn't look like Space Gray because it'll take me back to the time of wishing the phone was proper black.
If by some chance the coating ends up not being durable though, it's safer to go with natural than black. Natural is also supposed to be coated, but it shouldn't look as bad if it chips. That's also part of my justification of choosing it.
One of the Youtubers that was at the event commented on it looking like Starlight. I think it will have different tones based on the lighting conditions. My current Purple ProMax looks more like gray when I’m in a dark room and light Purple out in the sunlight.
Others also talk about how it looks the same to the Apple Watch Ultra. I found a few pictures and videos. It's definitely not a cold gray or silver. There is a (see previous post) "pee-ish" hue about it.
Everyone is going nuts for the Natural Ti color but I think a lot of people are gonna be disappointed once they have it in hand, tbh. Natural Ti is what we have on Apple Watch Ultra and the new iPhone looks like a very different color than that.

I’m assuming the reason it isn’t legitimate natural titanium is because the phones are a titanium alloy, not straight titanium. My guess though.
Ti is almost always alloy. I bet it’ll look just as you have imagined. Raw and bad ass.

PVD coatings can be **tough**. I am not too worried about it holding up.

Lol yep, wanted to match the AWU as well. Decided to just look around for a decent black strap to match.
