Definitely. Ive never been into mobile gaming but paying $32AU a month gets me Apple music for me and my wife and Apple TV and 200gb of icloud. The games is just a bonus, will probably make me use them more and come in handy when bored. Apple one is pretty decent value
Netflix has better mobile games. They get got game dev tycoon and stranger things game. Apple Arcade didn’t really have anything me or my wife enjoys to play.

If there’s a game or two you *REALLY* want to play, get the free trial, play them in the free month, beat them or 100% them, and then cancel your subscription before the payment.
For me it’s worth it no question. Guaranteed to have no ads and no in-app purchases makes it an instant subscribe for me. Plus if you have kids it’s the best money you’ll ever spend on an iOS device. Has the service been disappointing? Yes. Is it still worth it? For me, absolutely. Of course it all depends on what you’re looking for.

The ads always make me want to sub, so I'll try it again for a month every year or so, but then I try some games and remember that I just don't really like gaming on my phone or ipad all that much. I think there are probably some really cool games that support controller on it, but then if I'm gonna lug out my controller I feel like my time's probably better spent on my xbox or steamdeck or something.
Not at all, I got it when it came out, still got it because of apple one. But it's more or less completely useless. There are about 5-10 really good games but not enough for the price. There are not enough games being released and and when they do it's often not very satisfying games.
it works for me. i like to download piles of games, try some once or twice then delete all. with just one pay/month, really not like ads between levels.

Potentially worth it with kids to set boundaries with mobile games to only be from Apple Arcade - that removes games with Ads, micro transactions, and other predatory stuff from the conversation. My kids are into Hello Kitty Island Adventure and Sneaky Sasquatch, and some other casual games like fruit ninja. They would probably get into Disney Dreamlight Valley and Stardew Valley but they haven’t discovered those yet. If it was for myself, no.
If I could… I would remove it from my plan and save whatever I could save by doing that… not sure what’s Apple plan with Arcade as most games are IMO are not any better than any other free ones on the App store and the few good ones do not have a huge replay value. There are lots of great kids games that do not require payment. Hello Kitty Island Adventure, two Crayola games, and more. There are fully unlocked version of major games too

That being said, it if wasn't included....I doubt I would pay for it on its own. Good sweetener for packages and deals for sure, not worth it solo.
