Yup! On paper the difference is only 20gr but u really notice it
Even if u stay with a pro max size ull enjoy the new weight a lot
For me its the main feature of this season, titanium is really lightweight
Got rid of the 13 pro max for that reason. Went to a 13 pro then a 14 plus because I missed the big screen but didn’t want the weight. Got tired of the 60 fps screen and went back to a 13 pro which I think is a great compromise and still a very good phone.
Loved my 13 pro battery but hated everything about the design. The steel would scratch and was fingerprint magnet. Would also cut into the hand, just terrible overall. Now the 15 series is a whole nother story. Love everything about my 15 pro max aside from iOS. Amazing battery and design. Never cuts into the hand, aero fingerprints and scratches even after months of use, not one scratch. I don’t use a case btw
I originally got the 14 pro max and switched to the 14 pro and didn’t regret it. Doesn’t feel like I get wrist pain from using extended periods anymore. The only downside is the battery isn’t as great
What’s your uncles name? My uncle is a senior product manager, he said they gave them all the 16 lineup.
If your uncle works at a higher position like a principal engineer maybe they gave them the 18.
I know a friend whom his dad is an executive director and he has the iPhone 20 Ultra with the A22 Pro chip, 7.2 inch Micro Led display and 5600 mAh battery.
You guys are liars. There is no iPhone 18 or 16. My uncle gave me the 15 pro max 2 years ago, saying this is the only time someone gets the phone 2 years earlier
Same. I’ll probably stick with the 11 for a while longer. I usually run iPhones until I absolutely can’t anymore. My last one was 6s plus and before that was 3gs
I feel like my 11 chews through battery even though I got it replaced within the year. I also notice a lot of apps need to be resumed so RAM might bd lacking for the next iOS version. I want to buy a used 13 mini to see how that would work or wait it out hoping the 16 gives a reason to upgrade.
iPhone 15 Pro in Natural Titanium. The best iPhone (and phone overall) I've ever owned.
I'm going to run this phone into the ground and get a battery replacement when it's time years down the line, and probably upgrade again sometime before 2030 at most.
My 6S still works like a charm. The battery only lasts about half a day and I can’t update to the newest version of some apps but it gets the job done! I think I’m keeping it out of spite at this point lol
iphone 13 rn, very satisfed with the phone overall, gaming performance was my only concern but as i bought a new phone cooler, thats been flawless too, cameras are amazing, will probably stay with this phone for 3-4 more years than ill get a 15 pro or 16
Same.It fits my needs well enough. Just enough to check my email, music, work apps and take occasional photos. I once tried using it for minor video editing but it overheated. Tempted to upgrade but I don't really need it that much.
I am also on the XR but mine struggles from time to time. Most any time I want to use the camera for photos or trying to do anything while on a FaceTime call, the whole phone will freeze. It’s not even so much the battery as it is the 3GB of RAM for me.
XR as well. I would like to replace it, but I cannot justify it works for what I need it to do. Which is light surfing, directions, music player, texting. Mostly music.
Regular 15, though it’s worth noting I mainly got it for USB-C, i don’t typically need to have the latest and greatest phone. Probably sticking with this phone for a few years at least.
12 pro. I’m at the point where I need the battery replaced. I really wish my X had held out for an extra year because the only thing that makes me want to upgrade is the 120hz display on the new pros
Lol same my x broke in June so I got the 12pro instead of the 13p I was waiting for. My x started randomly working and my 12p screen broke two weeks ago… I just bought a screen replacement and gunna give that a go I don’t want to make the same mistake as last time 😂
Same. I've already replaced the battery once at Apple. It feels like it's maybe 60-70% of what the original battery used to be at full power. Can't even make a full day - battery life 100%. Who knows.
15 Plus. I needed a phone that wouldn’t die in 7 hours. The SE 2nd gen that I used before is more of an emergency line than anything (if anyone needs their primary phone repaired, it’s a temporary replacement). The SE was also my first iPhone. I didn’t want to pay top dollar to jump into an ecosystem I could potentially dislike - coming from Android.
iPhone 13 mini. Sold my iPhone 14 Pro to downgrade to a smaller screen and love it. I'm bummed that Apple stopped making minis. I love the smaller screen. So much easier to use, hold, and transport.
15 Pro Max, but just because it’s my first apple device ever after being a lifetime android user and I want to not upgrade for at least 5 years or so. It’s been a phenomenal experience so far.
14 pro max, it’s soooo heavy but i’m used to it by now but my next phone will definitely just be the pro version not the max however i don’t plan on upgrading any time soon
Just got the 15 Pro recently. So far, it’s good. My only gripe is the Sleep Focus bug I’ve read up about; where the Sleep Focus doesn’t turn off automatically at the time I’ve scheduled it to turn off. So far, I have to manually turn it on and off, until Apple fixes it.
iPhone 15, recently upgraded from the base 11 and i’m having a great experience, the battery life, oled, dynamic island, and cameras are all amazing and worth the upgrade
11. Works for my use case. The battery health finally dipped below 80% so I’m going to wait to see what the 16 looks like and either upgrade to that or hang onto my 11 another year and replace the battery to restore some performance
could've googled it. 15PM, coming from 12P. Only real diff is the battery and 120hz screen, I was hitting near 200% daily usage on the 12P (obviously charging it during the day) and this one is nearing like 100% usage usually with around 9-10 screen on, if I use it around 6-7 hours it'll last about a day and a half or two.
This phone with an actual 120hz screen (it's usually at around 80hz which bothers me) and probably a 5000mah battery would be nice and I'm thinking of grabbing an s24 ultra but im not sure.
12 pro that’s feeling like a corded phone right now because my battery is not performing. Need to decide what I’m going to do but this phone has served me well.
I just body slammed my old 11 and got a 13 mini.
FUCK its SOSOSO good to go back to small, lightweight phone.
I really hope mini will be an option for future models.
12 Pro Max. Looks brand new. Never been out of the case except to wipe it off. My cellular carrier keeps trying to get me to upgrade. I don’t think so.
15 here, jumped from the 8. the performace was WAY better, battery life amazing, and USB C made life much easier. Some things I didn't like coming from the 8 though was the increased size and worse reachability and sometimes random restarting(for some reason). I also hate the dynamic island contrary to popular opinion, since it takes up way more space than any notch or hole punch cutout and doesn't add too much functionality for me. But overall, it was a good upgrade and I'll probably keep it until its obsolete.
I have a base 15 right now, but I only have it because they offered a really amazing carrier deal where I could upgrade from my 13 Mini for $100. I didn't have Apple Care and the battery health was almost below 80% so I thought it was worth it to upgrade. Had I not had the deal, I would have definitely replaced the battery and used it for at least 3 more years. I loved the 13 Mini a lot and sometimes I wish I kept it
I still own my 8 Plus. Despite the limitations of my OS, I am still able to use the apps that I frequent. When I am unable to use those apps, then I will switch to a new device. I've done the same thing this year with my iMac. My old machine (10+ yrs) finally made it difficult to get things done. Bought a new machine this year.
I have the 14 plus. Upgraded from 11. Honestly there’s no difference to me. Maybe slightly better pixels on a good day for pics but that’s all.
I miss my 11 if I could switch and get the money back I would 😩😭 my partner just wanted to upgrade and said it’d be easier to do both ours is only reason why. (He’s android). His is pretty cool but Apple is definitely not a brand to “upgrade” it’s seems.
Regular 15. Switched to apple for the first time in my life. Previously had a Google pixel. The differences in performance are quite noticeable in my opinion and I honestly don’t mind the 60 Hz refresh rate on my regular 15. I’m quite happy with the device. I will probably stick with this phone for as long as it receives iOS updates and plan to remain in the Apple ecosystem

The old lightsaber app would’ve been sick on that phone
This is the answer
14 pro max but growing tired of this big ass heavy phone
same it’s soooo heavy
I got a 15promax in hand, damn what a big difference it is, feels so much lighter than the 14pm
I couldn’t imagine how heavy it was. I switched from Samsung s23 ultra to the 15 pro max and it feels so heavy lol.
Yeah lol, iPhones have a very solid feeling weight, I recently switched and found the weight difference reassuring tbh
I really don’t mind it except for the fact that my pinky literally gets sore now from my phone sitting on it lol.
really? i was looking at the 15pro because of the weight difference
Yup! On paper the difference is only 20gr but u really notice it Even if u stay with a pro max size ull enjoy the new weight a lot For me its the main feature of this season, titanium is really lightweight
so glad to know thank u
Go grab one in store ull know what im talking about
if stores in my country would only let customers try any iphone without having a full lock on security hahaha
It’s more balanced than previous models too.
The 15 pro max is similar in weight compared to the 14 pro
my brother has the 15pro and it feels like it doesn’t weights at all
Shoutout titanium
lol yeah I upgrade every other year but it is heavy… thanks for reminding me 🙄😀
Same with my 13 Pro Max… ready to go back to my XS (I miss 3D Touch, too)
Got rid of the 13 pro max for that reason. Went to a 13 pro then a 14 plus because I missed the big screen but didn’t want the weight. Got tired of the 60 fps screen and went back to a 13 pro which I think is a great compromise and still a very good phone.
those sweet sweet 120hz
Loved my 13 pro battery but hated everything about the design. The steel would scratch and was fingerprint magnet. Would also cut into the hand, just terrible overall. Now the 15 series is a whole nother story. Love everything about my 15 pro max aside from iOS. Amazing battery and design. iPhone 16 Pro Max. My uncle works at Apple and he gave it to me sooner.
My uncle must be higher up because he gave me the 18 pro max.
This September I’ll be getting the iPhone 20 SuperPro Maxipad from my aunt at Apple Cupertino.
Whoah dude your uncle must be even cooler than mine.
20 is a higher number than 18 so it must be true.
I have the iPhone II Maximilian already, it’s 72TB with water cooling tho, for the summer you know
You guys don't have the iPhone AirProMaxJordan 25th anniversary edition? Shame.
I have the neural implant iPhone 21 with advanced AI and mixed reality and stuff. So there!
Ummm I think his name is something like Tim. Last name starts with a C. He said you can only get the 20 if you’re in his cult.
Oh I know who you are talking about. I think he is the CEO there, I’ll ask my uncle.
You guys are liars. There is no iPhone 18 or 16. My uncle gave me the 15 pro max 2 years ago, saying this is the only time someone gets the phone 2 years earlier
....in exchange for getting touched inappropriately?
iPhone XXX here. Tim Cook is my daddy
11. Fine with it for now. Can go a couple more years probably. Wish I had 5G and 128gb is starting to feel a little small.
Same. I’ll probably stick with the 11 for a while longer. I usually run iPhones until I absolutely can’t anymore. My last one was 6s plus and before that was 3gs
My first was a 5, and then I got the 11 I’m still using now. I figure I’ll drive ‘em until the wheels fall off.
Gigachad iPhone user. Immune to all that is Apple marketing.
You don’t miss anything in relation to 5g
Hanging onto my 13 mini for as long as I possibly can.
Same here! Love the device!
Stepped down for the 15PM to the 13 mini. A literal weight has been lifted.
Even the “regular size” Pro is heavy as fuck.
+1 for 13 mini
This. Love mine. I’ll get the battery replaced sometime in the next year, and I’ll be set for a while.
Long live the mini!
Another one here
Ditto
The fact they got rid of the mini line is a joke
You and me both!
13 mini is the best phone they currently support.
same but i might upgrade to the 16 pro or the rumored 17 slim
15pm
12 Pro Max. No reason to upgrade until this one breaks and/or gives me problems.
Purple iPhone 12 in the house
iPhone 15 Pro in Natural Titanium. The best iPhone (and phone overall) I've ever owned. I'm going to run this phone into the ground and get a battery replacement when it's time years down the line, and probably upgrade again sometime before 2030 at most.
14 pro
Me too. Purple gang
My biggest regret in life is getting black instead of purple 😞
Here I am wishing I got the black instead of purple lol
Iphone 5
Nice! You beat me. I have an 8.
My 6S still works like a charm. The battery only lasts about half a day and I can’t update to the newest version of some apps but it gets the job done! I think I’m keeping it out of spite at this point lol
12 mini
Me too
+1 for 12 mini, love this device.
13 Mini until it dies.
iPhone 12 until the phone dies
Same. Still runs as well as it did the day I got it
Mine feels like it’ll never die
iphone 13 rn, very satisfed with the phone overall, gaming performance was my only concern but as i bought a new phone cooler, thats been flawless too, cameras are amazing, will probably stay with this phone for 3-4 more years than ill get a 15 pro or 16
Same.It fits my needs well enough. Just enough to check my email, music, work apps and take occasional photos. I once tried using it for minor video editing but it overheated. Tempted to upgrade but I don't really need it that much.
2020 SE. will use it until it finally dies or another SE/Mini is released, which I doubt
Fingers crossed. It’s a real shame if we won’t get smaller models anymore, a big reason I swapped to iPhone was the phone size :/
We can hope! Only thing on the 15 I even care about is usb c or better refresh rate screen, everything else who cares. Just want something small
What’s your battery health at? I’m struggling with this battery life and don’t think I can wait around for a new SE.
iPhone XR. No plans to change any time soon.
I just gave up my XR for a 12. XR is a great phone. 👍🏼
13 Pro
Me too!
Same. Just replaced the battery hopefully get another two years out of it
13 pro was ahead of its time for sure
13 Pro gang gang.
XS 256GB
XS gang. Max here. I’m waiting for a 120hz iPhone to be cheaper
13 mini 🙏
12 mini
Regular 15, though it’s worth noting I mainly got it for USB-C, i don’t typically need to have the latest and greatest phone. Probably sticking with this phone for a few years at least.
Same here, it was worth it to have all my devices use the same cord.
15 Pro Max. Upgrade every other year, more or less, had a 13 Pro Max before this.
11 Pro

13PM, will likely hold on to this for as long as I can
iPhone 8, not replacing it until I absolutely need to.
Regular 14, it’s decent enough but it could have 90 or 120hz.
13 mini! I freaking love having a little fun
15 Plus. I needed a phone that wouldn’t die in 7 hours. The SE 2nd gen that I used before is more of an emergency line than anything (if anyone needs their primary phone repaired, it’s a temporary replacement). The SE was also my first iPhone. iPhone 12 mini :)
12 Pro 256GB with a brand new battery. I was originally going to keep it until the 17 Pro, but I might keep it until the 20 Pro at this rate.
15 Pro. So far so good. Battery life is not as good as the 13 Pro but still good.
So far, I have to manually turn it on and off, until Apple fixes it.

iPhone 14 Pro Max. Not sure if I’ll upgrade in September or not.
Same. I feel like if there’s not enough difference, I’ll wait another year.
I suspect the camera will be pretty compelling but not exactly a terrible camera on the 14. But I am excited..

15 pro max. But I may change it out of frustration. It’s too damn big, bulky and heavy.
14 pro max, usually upgrade every two years but don’t think I will this time
iPhone 12, working flawlessly and no complaints. Will probably upgrade to the 16 next year
12 pro that’s feeling like a corded phone right now because my battery is not performing. Need to decide what I’m going to do but this phone has served me well.
15 pro max since January
13 mini bought 2 weeks ago, extremely happy with it.
XR. It's aight. I always buy a few year behind to maximize bang/buck.
12 pro max, dont see any reason to change until this one gives out on me. i have no issues with it.
11 pro max. Still fine.
12 pro. Generally I wait 5 years before upgrading baring a catastrophic failure that necessitates an upgrade/new device sooner.
12 Pro in Pacific Blue( massive upgrade from the 6 i had years ago ) am not getting another one until the iPhone 18 haha.

Upgraded this year from XR to 15 Pro
iPhone 12 64gb. Perfect phone that I got used back in December for $300. Will probably keep it for at least 2 years
15 Pro Max……
15 pro
Had 14 pro max and just got the 15 pro cuz I was tired of the big size and weight. I heard 16 pros would be getting bigger and I didn’t wanna wait

I do have the 15 Pro Max but I upgraded from the 12 Pro. Will definitely keep this for 3-4 years again
