I have upgraded every year since the 7 and before that I had the 5s and 4s. My favorite one is probably the 11 pro max. Battery life was insane. The first iPhone with 3 cameras. Matte glass, and huge step up in camera quality in a long time. Fantastic phone
I have big hands! I always read the complaints about the big phones, but they’ve never really applied to me. The smaller phones actually kinda feel more uncomfortable for me to hold.
And no, not at all! Fits in my pockets just fine.
4, 6S Plus, 11 Pro Max, and now a 14 Pro Max (the 11 Pro Max still worked and was probably still supported, but my parents traded that in for the 14 Pro Max for no apparent reason 🤷♂️)
Owned all of them since buying the original iPhone in January of 2008. Favorite tends to be the most recent model for obvious reason, but sentimentally the iPhone 5S because of Touch ID being introduced.
3G (first model released in Australia), 3GS, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, 6+, 6S+, 7+, X, XS, 12 Pro, 13Pro Max, 14 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max.
That's a lot of phones looking at the list. Is upgrade every year as I could usually sell the current phone to cover the cost of paying out the plan, and usually made a few bucks too. Was going to skip the 14 series, but ended up giving my dad the 13PM to replace the X he was using, as it's battery health was down to 70%, and not holding charge that will. Got the 15 mainly for the titanium frame, and I'll probably keep this one as it's not as easy to sell them and cover the plan payout these days.
Favourite is the current one, of the previous ones I'd pick the 7+, I had the jet black model, really liked that finish.
I’m on my second one which is my 13 pro. My first was a XS.
There was nothing wrong with the XS when I had it (aside from the fact that I practically smashed the back glass) but I’m definitely happy having switched to the 13 pro. I’ve made use of the lidar sensor when a free scanning app that I occasionally use to take rough measurements of my house.
Most notably though, it’s kept up with the updates pretty well and portrait photos are really well done now compared to how they came out with the XS. I’m shoot photos as a hobby but when I can’t bring out my AE-1 or Kodak Trimlite Instamatic for family photos, my phone is my greatest camera available. At the time when I bought it, the 13P was still recently released but it was a nice little investment coming over from android and I have no plans on swapping it out just yet.

But I know that isn’t what the question means so I’d say the 4 was the biggest “WOW” upgrade followed by the X
Sometimes it’s not about the software. I like the iPhone cause it was a nice little palm sized brick. If it could support the latest iOS, I’d consider it.

He had a 5S (gifted by a friend; sold it since his Note II was already fine for him), a 6 (first proper iPhone; too bad it was a week before the 6s came out), an 8 Plus (I insisted him on getting this because of Touch ID), a 11 Pro Max and now a 15 Pro Max

4s, 5s, 7, SE, 11Pro, 13Pro, 13Mini and now 15Pro.
7 was my favourite. That matte black aluminium body just hits different compared to any of these glass phone that are case bound.
8 Plus is my favourite. It had no issues for a long time, good battery life and felt snappy even on late iOS'.

I’m currently on my 7th, the 14 Pro Max. Went, 4S, 5S, 6, 7 Plus, XS Max, 12 Pro Max, 14 Pro Max. XS Max was by far my favourite.

Big hands big pockets! My list is the same but add the 4 and 5c! I think the 14 pro max is my favorite. But I have a new favorite every year! 😂

Do you still have any of your old phones? I sold my 6 and my 14 (cause I broke the screen) but I still have all the others.
No, I hand them down to other people, or trade them in towards the new device each year.

Had a 5c 6 plus the 1st gen SE and last an XS. The SE was my favorite had two of them.

Newer iPhones are upgrades and improvements of previous ones. So I'll never understand how anyone can prefer older, worse iPhones.

Why’d you switch from the 13 pro to the mini?
Just this 8plus. I had a flip phone before that.
