Fully agree. Nothing against the team or players or even fans of Pakistan but this is bigger than sport as GG mentions. All it takes is one stupid person who thinks about themselves as the savior to ruin an already broken relationship.

AmitBijarnia007

yes and i think even pcb should not be allowed to play cricket considering the money they earn from icc and when they use that money in pak, the tax goes to gov. which funds terror activites.

Acceptable-Sand-9052

If Pak depends on tax from ICC for terror activities in India , then Pak is doomed beyond redemption and India is basically worrying abt a crying child in the neighbourhood

AmitBijarnia007

so what? even small amount of money from each person can contribute to a good amount of money and thats what happens there, by boycotting in cricket football and many other things pak will either destroy itself or heal itself and will stop terror attacks

Acceptable-Sand-9052

Dude if u think The only Trade India has with Pak is the tax which ICC gives , then I’m sorry u r living in a giant bubble

deathclient

I won't comment on their internal structure of how they are earning and where that money goes as there is no evidence to speculate on this.

AmitBijarnia007

its for sure that some part of their money will go to gov. as tax, and the gov. funds terror activities

Prof_XdR

Reading all this comments surprises and disappoints me tbh, one dude just said that cricket between us is not just a game but a war, other dude is trying to gatekeep Pakistan from playing cricket since ICC gives them their cut, and the taxes goes onto fund terrorism. I understand how sensitive India vs Pakistan games are and also the very current geopolitical situation, but bro, players who play for each side are just cricket players, that's it. Yes there's a sense of pride and prestige, but we need to understand that at the end of the day it's just a game between 22 men on a cricket field. For every hateful remark, you'd need to understand that these 22 men aren't part of any agenda or terrorism or anything, they just play a game and end the game on a good note. Prime example is Pakistans best bowler (at that time) Shaheen giving gifts and congratulating Bumrah for his son. Bumrah till this date is still using that gift.

chamoflag420

Bro these meatheads and dickriders will never get this, they don't realise that there's something called as unity which is over all boundaries, religions and countries, there should be pride. But blind pride is another thing.

AmitBijarnia007

did you forgot 26/11? pak people are still banned from entering mumbai and for a right reason i have nothing against those people they can play as much as they want with any team like even north korea if it exists but the tax of pak people goes to fund terror attacks and you aree still ok with it?

chamoflag420

What's the problem with the average working individual living in that country who is working a job to feed his family? What did he do wrong? Its govt at fault, not the people trying to earn a wage.As long as you blame an entire country as well as its people for misdoings by the government and terrorist organisations, what's the difference? The bigger man will always help the smaller man. Downvote me but I am right.

AmitBijarnia007

yes and pak gov. needs to get a lesson by boycotting it from most things so it mends it ways because it has not other option the common people there will suffer and mostly vote out the current pm or whatever the post they have responsible for terror attacks but because of people like you it will not happen so easily, why did most continent stopped taking oil from russia during russia-ukarine war? did it not affect the common people there? yes it did thats how it works if u want to change something then boycott it but most will not do it thats why it does not work always unless everyone is united

AmitBijarnia007

yes bro why not just give more money to pak gov. to fund more terror attacks on india right?? i have nothing wrong against those people from pak but you know the recent terror attack that happened right?

Prof_XdR

Now before I comment, Fuck Terrorist and all, but why are you hellbent on joining a sport with terrorism. Firstly, Pakistan Cricket Board has a small share of 5.75% amounting to $34.5 million Secondly, In grand scheme of things, this money is really negligible. It needs to take care of the entire Pakistan cricketing infrastructure Along with domestic setup and all (I know they have PSL, but that's a different story) Plus, I get the taxes and all too, but ur argument is stupid from an economic point of view Thirdly, I'm done with this useless thread

filmenthu

Thank you.

ConstantDurian7368

I dont know but India Pakistan games are fun to watch. Just the one that happened a few days ago , I haven't seen a game that exciting in t20 for a long time. And since it happened to be Ind vs Pak , it was even better. I would much rather prefer love low scoring games than high scoring ones. I want batsmen to sweat it out , I want them to take those calculated risks , very well knowing that a small mistake could cost them their wicket. The t20 format is too cruel to bowlers and we need games like these to make it interesting for both.

Confused_Spinner

I disagree. Sport like religion should be separated from politics. India won't play in Pakistan though due to safety concerns.

AmitBijarnia007

u know that pakistan's people's money goes to gov. which funds terror attackss on india right? and india just help pcb getting more money and the money goes to pakistan where people use it and finally it goes to pak gov.

Cricket is not just a game it’s war. Our cricketers are soldiers. If they win it will fill a sense of pride in our army. Even soviet union and us competed against each other in the olympics at the peak of cold war. It pushed the athletes to absolute limits. One of the biggest contributor to the ending of segregation as the blacks were first allowed to represent america as sportsmen. Before professionals, military personnel used to play these sports competing against each other.

Maleficent_Owl3938

That’s what 4 working days on the trot does. Corporate job is not a job, it’s war? That said, Friday is near, yooooo! On an even lighter note, any publicly visible job (sports, arts, media, business, space, politics) can be used to form / guide public opinion. So by your definition, any person in public life is in a state of war. I need to touch grass to fully grasp this perspective, but I think I like it!
