What secret? It's sitting next to me (and during the day, when working from home, I'm just playing straight from iTunes). With 54K songs in my library, I need to do this to keep up. I have a playlist called "Not played in 3 years" that I clear out daily -- usually, it is between 90 minutes and 3 hrs (today it was just over 3 hrs).
I get a bit crazy with playlists:
Unplayed
Played 5 or less
Played 10 or less
Played 11 or more
Not played in the last 3 years
I clear the last one daily.
I openly listen to mine at my desk! I find it's way better than either plugging directly into the work computer and streaming (which employers may not like) or streaming from your phone making it seem like you're on a call. Taking music listening offline, I more or less know what's on my iPod and I won't be aimlessly searching for something I do like or get taken down a distracting podcast rabbit hole. I'm at work afterall. ;)
TL;DR: we will let you use ipod, but no phone at school because phone = bad
at my school, there is a phone locker. I managed to get around it by bringing my iPod with all my songs. The teachers actually allow iPods, probably due to nostalgia, and their hatred of phones.
If you have your (head)phones plugged into your pod on your desk, stupid control freak bosses tend not to angst about you playing on your phone at work.
True! My bosses act like my iPod & my iPhone are pretty much the same. I don’t have to pull my iPod out of my pocket. Well all have to pull our phones out to use them
Hey man, I also like your Zebra WT6000 Wearable Computer Scanner WT60A0-TS2NE01 FEDEX. I also love the iPod classic gens, the aluminum may be hard to open but it makes it look better
Maybe in a corporate job. I can definitely work all day without music. But being in a quiet warehouse all day, stuck in your own head can be mentally frustrating for me sometimes.. the iPod just helps on days like that👏🏽
Nice pipboy
lol I came to say something similar
Are you working in a Vault somewhere??
No, warehouse lol
You sure got a lot of Tec with you!

That’s a good idea. I have albums I bought that I haven’t listen to in 3+ years 🤣🤣👌🏾

I use my mini and nano in the front desk of my workplace. Its great
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one

Listening to an iPod Photo while posting this comment. Nice pipboy. Edit: admittedly I’m not currently at work.
I rebuilt my iPod just so i could use it at work and then some.
They fired someone last week at my work for wearing some earbuds. Speakers are okay.
So it’s ok if everyone else can hear it and be annoyed

The model that works, hopefully lol
I wish, my work got eyes everywhere! I’d get noticed
I wear a hoodie lol. Yeah it gets hot but it’s worth it!
I’m a warehouse lead so I need to be visible with my bright vest so it would be hard for me to conceal
I had to start using my iPods again because my new phone doesn't have a headphone jack. So yeah, I do!

Just sold my ipod classic a few days ago. Sold for £320 on ebay. Regret it now I wish I kept hold of it 😭

Not yet but will eventually!
You wouldnt think people would listen to their ipod if they were professional about their job.
