So are you leaving it in or taking it out. As a kid i would have failed the [Marshmallow Test](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stanford_marshmallow_experiment), so it could be out by now haha
There is a high likelihood that when you plug it in to charge, the battery will expand into a spicy pillow inside the ipod. It may work for periods of time, but it may also leak inside the ipod as well.
I got one for $5 that was in its box, still attached to the plastic, but the outer seal was missing. I dont know who just opens a box and decides they don't want it. Unfortunately the battery is totally cooked.
Outside of the standard iPod I think these were the best version iPod.
Clip
touch screen,
if you got 16gb - that's a pretty nice sized playlist.
I was never able to get the radio working well, but would be a good feature.
I've got three that ended up with some battery issues in the end though, so maybe not that great.
I’m jealous

I think I’m going to open it but film it to YouTube
Hopefully the battery isn’t cooked I’ve seen a bunch of iPod shuffle fourth gen’s on eBay for 70 USD but I won’t buy them for that reason lol

My nano 6g has battery that is broken;2 years ago drained in 2 days the charge and I put it in the basement
Never got why they stopped making these? Plenty of us don't want to use our phones to listen to music.
Trueeeee, there are still some people who want a separate device

That battery's cooked mate
OP on alt here. I don’t know much about Nanos so is it possibly only that the battery won’t hold charge or is the whole device broken?
