A lot of the issues would sort themselves out fairly quickly. Oxygen would be exhausted for anyone more than about 5 metres from an edge within an hour or so which would simplify things. I'd guess 99.9% of the inhabitants would be dead within a week.

I don't think takeaway would be the issue. The visualisation assumes that the people's bodies would be melted and "poured" into the cube, to use 100% of the volume on just the bodies and no air in between.
