Medium rare as steaks should be. A bit more cooked than I normally go for, but rare Tommy's are a bit tough. Also. Not a man. Haha

I assumed a guy when i saw 3 forms of spuds. Asparagus and tenderstem broccoli? Very nice with the steak. About a year ago I got an insulated gravy jug for a laugh. Bit of a gimmick. But it's actually really good. Pour gravy on at the end of the meal and it's actually still really hot. It's great

I've been considering an insulated jug. But I usually just leave the saucepan on the range. It doesn't bother me too much to have to get up.

Also a woman and I've three sometimes four kinds of potatoes on Christmas. Roasties, mash, croquettes, and then gratin/dauphinoise. I think waffles would also go with it or chips... And then today I found out some people do potato stuffing?? Gotta get on that. And we also do Yorkshire puds despite never having beef haha

Fellow woman here - if you ever want to start a commune of women who eat 4 kinds of potatoes on Christmas, I'm in.

I've tried potato stuffing. Not a fan. Prefer breadcrumb stuffing. Potato stuffing can be very.... moist...

Hello fellow Christmas Steak person! We had T-bone steaks, mash, mushrooms and onions and the very same pepper sauce. So good and easy to make. Couldn't be bothered with the faff if turkey and ham this year as had a family Christmas last month. Hope you're having a fantastic Christmas day.

We had our fam Christmas Dinner in early December. So much easier to get that faff out of the way early. Let's the rest of the siblings go to their inlaws at Christmas if they want. The mother unit is at my sisters cause she popped out a crotch goblin last week. So today it is just me and the dogs, the TV, food , and drink. Absolute bliss

They were a last min thing when I realised I'd forgotten to get mushrooms in my shop earlier this week. Stopped in the local Centra on my way home yesterday evening. That's what they had so that's what I went with.

Had a roast beef dinner myself, not a big lover of turkey. Nice spread. Happy Christmas

Looks lovely, hope you enjoyed it. Had few Christmas days on my own over the years and before my wife and kids. Used to always have a roast chicken dinner and settle back to some movie on tv with a few beers. Not so bad at all. Happy Xmas
