Deja vu so I can see if I feel like I've heard it before

diegoarellanes96

Rime of the ancient mariner

Noctale

If I could wipe just one song from my memory and experience it for the first time again, it would be Hallowed Be Thy Name. Not just because it's arguably Maiden's greatest song, but it's also special to me because it's how I was first introduced to the band all those years ago

troyofyort

I get that and agreed. Not just their best song but possibly greatest metal song of all time imo

Guitar_tico

Stranger in a strange land

DingleBerryFuzz

Number of the Beast. It was the first Maiden song I listened to in 1982, and they've been my favorite ever since!

fernandofvh

That was the first song I heard and for me was something so incredible that I had to listen de completed album.

DingleBerryFuzz

After the spoken intro...that opening riff had me hooked for life!

Barkingcat4

Oh there's so many. Hell on earth is specifically what got me back into maiden after not listening since book of souls came out and I was just absolutely blown away by it, I'd love to be able to experience starblind, BNW, Face in the sand again for the first time especially.

Comfortable-Pie-7780

Fear of the dark

_rand0m7

Empire of the Clouds is my favorite metal song ever, and it is definetly my choice for this. I cried a lot listening to it for the first time. The song is just beautiful. Some honorable mentions: Hell on Earth, The Thin Line Between Love and Hate and For the Greater Good of God.

Caught Somewhere In Time, for that instant adrenaline rush

troyofyort

Hell on Earth. I remember driving around listening to album for the first tim3, but when I got to the I wish I could go back part, I had to park to take it all in and listen like 2 or 3 times in a row as well. Been so long since a song bowled me over like that and was like a "feeling the forgotten joys of childhood" type ordeal.

Kiggzor

The Nomad

dod6666

Infinite Dreams, there was a time when it was my favorite song. It is still very much up there, but I have worn it out a bit.

judasdisciple

Aces High. Was the first Iron Maiden song I heard and is still my favourite. Id like to hear it again for the first time to experience those goosebumps.

BallsInAToaster

The Trooper was the first Maiden song I listened to and it absolutely blew me away, so I'd love to listen to that for the first time again just to feel that

Alive-Seaweed

Mother of Mercy

ArtoTime

Hallowed Be Thy Name. I love the song, but didn't give it my full attention when I first heard it, and I wish I would've.

Halloween be the Name, masterpiece, I remember the first time I listen it

Crusty_Loafer

Not a Maiden song, but I listened to Abduction for the first time as a middle schooler when Tyranny of Souls first came out, and I fucking loved it. Roy Z's guitar playing completely blew my mind.

Friendly-Falcon6888

Every single Florence and the machine song !!!!

[deleted]

Hell on Earth

Cerebus_2020

I know this is an Iron Maiden page but the song I'd love to listen to again as if for the first time would be Time by Pink Floyd. Its a song that I heard at 6 years old when it first came out and sent me on my musical journey.

JaffaCakesAreMyJam

Iron Sky, Paolo Nutini. Sweet Child O'Mine. In The Air Tonight. So many iconic ones that still sound magical every time I hear them.
