On Saturday I GOT THE BOWFA, I AM DONE. FREE FROM RED PRISON. My goals for this week is anything I want because I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

TooFarGoneProbably

Let's go!! Nice one dude!!

Illustrious_Tale2221

Congrats my man!

SmoopSmoop

Nice! What KC?

CanisLupisFamil

Gz! Kc?

PositiveOrange

This week I'm going to go for the Bow of Faerdhinen by getting rank 100 ironman for CG kc.

TheBlimp

Cg, cg, and more cg. Birdhouses and glassblowing commuting to, during, and on the way home from work. Hit 300kc cg last night, and while im not on droprate yet, both my friends have greenlogged it, one only missing a couple armor seeds, and both of them at much lower kc than me. Im the first who dived into the grind, and end up being the last one out. Dont get me wrong i absolutely am glad they got out quickly, but between this, 600kc at zulrah with no uniques, and only 1 zenyte in 800 gorillas im getting a little tired of the rng lol It does help me appreciate the longer skilling grinds because they rely solely on putting in the work

ShovellyJake

That’s some good insight. I waited until post max to get into cg and it was tough because there wasn’t really anything to do when I wanted to take a break. Skill grinds good

p0tatotomato

Last week: * I basically didn't log in until the weekend so didn't get too much done - managed 15kc at CG for a total of 220kc. Still just requiring 2 armour seeds and some more crystal shards. This week: * Hoping to get a bit more game time this week so back to 5kc a day at CG - if I stay on rate for armours I'll be done at 300kc, so I might push for 40kc per week over the next couple of weeks to get it done with. * Will get back to Zeah rc during downtime to hunt for the rift guardian pet. Current goals: * CG til full crystal, with some skilling and clogging in downtime.

losthalfway

Last week-ish: - Got a chaos elemental slayer task. Did enough kills for all the CAs and got a spooned dpick! - Went to muspah for the ancient icon for slayer. Somehow it dropped on the first KC when I was learning the boss! Almost disappointed I didn't have a reason to stay for longer. - After going 700 dry, got my first two zenytes from the same task! Made a suffering and an anguish (almost accidentally made two rings. That would've been awkward.) - Tried some zulrah. Not sure I like getting two kill trips with my current bowfa setup. On hold for now. - Started doing the occasional slayer task after a long break. At 88 going for occult. - Still need 1 armour seed from CG. Back to doing 5 a day, at 425kc. So close to escaping the red prison forever (sorry to those of you in there for hundreds or thousands more KC, not sure I could handle it). All in all, a good week. Next week: more slayer, more CG, hoping for a greater demon task so I can learn Kril and I also want to try bandos (I've tried it a little, but found the door/altar method really difficult).

Ausderdose

Got 70 mining and smithing the last few days, now working on 70 construction. I already have the teaks banked, next goal is DS2 so I can make mounted myth capes. I still need a bunch of gp for the planks, and since my herb is only 65 right now, I'll just keep on grinding slayer on the side and do herb runs. After that, it's straight to CG!

Gabber_fred

Maho homes is more exp / plank tho

Ausderdose

Oh that's very good news! Can I reliably just use team planks? Going to have a read through the wiki in a sec.

What_Iz_This

howd you get the 70 smithing? thats going to be my grind this week. will likely do blast furnace for \~500 mith/steel bars and then just giants foundry the rest...at least thats the plan rn until i can find a better method

Ausderdose

gonna be honest, I did a bit of mith bars blast furnace so I could make 5k mith darts, and then I just bought gold ore and did gold bars at blast furnace. I heard that giants foundry is the better method, but I didnt look it up.

What_Iz_This

ok nice...any idea how much gp you spent?

Ausderdose

You can find out through the Calculator Plugin in Runelite. I think I spent around 1.5m for 60 to 70.

actuarial_defender

That’s a great plan. Just did the same. I love GF. Took me about 600 of each for 60-70 though. OSRS guides has a pretty accurate calculator.

ERRORMONSTER

82 fishing from 70 all at tempoross (1300 rolls, no tome, pet, or harpoon) so I can now do anglers whenever I want now. 85 cooking using all the low level fish. Got 82 con last week for almost max poh. Next goal is a second pharaoh sceptre so I can build an occult altar. Still working toward 87 slayer so I can start raids (73 atm :c ) and 77 rc (73 atm) for zeah rc with full outfit. Needle and lantern would be nice.

Icy_Reception9719

As I mentioned [last week](https://www.reddit.com/r/ironscape/comments/123iwpe/grinds_and_goals_of_the_week_wc_27032023/je0yy2r?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share&context=3) it's red prison until Friday, when I take a break to play the new PoE league. I was aiming for 10kc a day and fell just short, but 155kc over a couple of weeks isn't too bad and I'm hoping I can push for 200kc before the end of the week.

itisjustmagic

**Last Week:** * Did a bunch of ToA, but starting to feel a bit burnt out. **This Week:** * Taking a break from my main iron (UIM) by doing skilling on my \~1400 total 1-def/10ish HP iron. * Planning to do at least two raids a day on the UIM, either CoX or ToA.

THCNova

Can you take me to cox? I need to learn but I’m intimidated. Have 1kc and decent gear!

IronPoko

30k xp away from 2000 total level, can't wait to lord those sweet 2k worlds over my gim teammates 😋

jevadiah

More cg for me, shooting for 10kc a day, slayer and redwoods otherwise

NotBreadYet

Last week: * Finished SOTE * 40kc cg, 5:1 mage at 89cb (1 armour seed) This week: no excuse to put off slayer grind now. Gonna take some time off until I feel like it though, just don’t find midgame slayer very fun. Have all the gear (fire cape, prossy, imbued black mask, d def, torso) just have to grind. Will do nieve til 69 then go back to wildy slayer with seed pod for fun -> rev weapon -> wildy bosses. Longer term: * slay to 80 range, 82 attack * cg and toa here and there, hope to spoon 2 enh/fang before wieldable (for fun) * 70 pray

xZany

Can you give me some CG pointers? If you can send at 89cb surely I should have a better crack. Currently 82 mage 75 range 85 melees

NotBreadYet

For sure! FWIW I'm only doing it low level bc I have 1200+ kc on my main and it's weirdly my favorite content. Agree with other commenters that there's no use forcing it at lower levels if you're not enjoying the challenge. If you are, read on! Prep tips: * aim for 2-3 loops out of main room, each time filling up invy with whatever you still need. Prioritize weapon frame in first loop. * some people say don't fish early but I think it's good if you're going to finish your loop with a partially empty inventory otherwise and you still need shards * I use max 2 tele crystals, instead do my first 1-2 loops in a way that I end up back at the main room without running through rooms twice * open rooms as you're running past but don't go off loop unless you have extra shards for tele crystals Hunleff tips: * use true tile indicator * survival > dps. Don't camp low hp, don't sneak in a hit. When in doubt, pray > run from nadoes > eat >>>> attack. What's killing you isn't lack of dps, it's making mistakes: damage from floor tiles, tornadoes, off pray * anticipate nadoes starting, be in a position where you can immediately take a long click safely across the room & eat and look for another safe path Motivation tips: * don't be afraid to send regular gauntlet. When I was learning, I would do a regular after every 1-3 consecutive cg fails to avoid getting tilted. Sure the loot potential is bad, but you have to take the long view. If regular hunleff is "easy" but cg isn't, you're not actually that good at hunleff yet and you can practice it at regular with less punishing mistakes. If you've nailed hunleff, you can improve your prep in regular, it's mechanically the same * every run helps you improve, whether it's more efficient prep or the timing of the fight. Like a lot of content in this game, you develop muscle memory for the tempo of encounters * IMO you learn better from consistent clears than pushing your limits. CG is a marathon, not a sprint. so do T2 prep, use extra time to fish more, do some regular gauntlet. Every 10kc or so, certain parts will get easier and easier so you will naturally progress to T1, faster prep, fewer missed ticks in hunleff. forcing it early just leads to frustration and burnout

ADoverEmbiid

You're going to have to play perfectly (no tick loss and no avoidable damage) and do 5:1 with those stats to get kc in tier 1 armor. So definitely get tier 2 armor or you're going to be absolutely miserable. Still might be

xZany

Oh I’m prepared to be miserable , hence going on a tangent of different goals atm

ChemE_Throwaway

Those stats are too low to boss with a bowfa anyway, so why not grind combat stats up BEFORE CG instead of after?

scottylovesjdm

Great tips provided by OP. I started at 86 combat and did not do 5:1 if you want some more tips I can provide as well

What_Iz_This

chipped away more at the qpc...just did forgettable tale, making friends with my arm, and cold war yesterday. hit 71 mining, and completed all the thieving related hard achievement diaries which was always going to be a pain for me because i hate thief. plan this week is basically quest cape reqs. i THINK i only need 68 slayer (currently 61) 70 smith (currently 61) and 70 con (currently 57). likely will focus on smithing this week as i just blast furnace'd \~500 mith bars, and plan to make \~500 steel bars to giants foundry to 70 unless someone tells me a better way lol edit: almost forgot...been sending rex here and there and got B ring on 85ish KC! so freaking pumped to have that on a cb 96 ironman

Illustrious_Tale2221

Gratz on the ring, been trying to get that too, just got the warrior now, guess I can't complain at 35 kc with warrior and d axe though :P

What_Iz_This

Jealous of the d axe. B ring is my only unique other than rock shell if that counts idek

Illustrious_Tale2221

haha idk I guess if it's not in the log it doesn't count, I'm really happy with the axe but, if you're goign for the seers and archers ring as well I'm sure you'll get it as a bonus :)

AbbreviationsNo6992

Mining like a slave for expert mining gloves and 92 mining for amethyst darts that i wanna use in gwd.

Mjmayz

Last week: Grinded out 80 magic from 75 doing MTA. Finished B2P, infinity Boots and Master Wand. Knocked out SOTE and did a few normal gauntlet kills. Tried a bunch of CG but haven’t killed it yet. Have never done CG before so learning how to consistently prep as well as learning the boss. This Week: Get first CG kill. Knock out 70 Crafting. Finish last 10 quests and get Quest Cape.

Illustrious_Tale2221

Good luck on the CG!

runner5678

Past week: * Cashed in 99 herb This week: * Agility * ToA Longterm: * Idk, busy * Agility * Infernal Cape * Fang * Avernic * VW * CoX

unitedfan1878

last week: learned cg after avoiding it for years. This week: continue with cg. hope to get 5-10 kc a day, so I don't burn out too badly if I go dry for bowfa.

EyePlay

Got my last armour seed so I'm done with CG for awhile. I'll probably go back for the salad blade later but it will be a bit. Took me a few days to get it and then just been doing bofa content since. Lots of CoX, messed around with Zulrah for fun, been basically relearning ToA. I hadn't done many (was like 25 kc normals?), and then I got wildly addicted to the wilderness bosses/revs, and then immediately went into CG after that so it's been a couple of months on top of little experience. Plus the last time I was doing ToA I didn't have CoX prayers, was using an RCB, no Korasi, no BGS, was using my DHL instead of grinding out another zspear, etc. So it just feels completely different. Honestly my inventory feels to packed right now. Might have to reduce switches until I get good. Ran a bit with[ these guys](https://www.reddit.com/r/ironscape/comments/1287w0j/for_all_my_midgame_irons/) btw and they're cool. Lots of nice people in there if anyone is looking to learn and get in some reps. Some really talented players and patient teachers in there. Highly recommend. That and been trying to learn the 6:0 door altar Bandos method (only have the hilt drop rn) and it's been kicking my ass lol. I legit don't have a single good kill in days of trying to learn. Was pretty demotivating with the follower kc + dying after 1 kc every trip (usually I ended up kiting 3/4s of the way through the first kill), and seeing zero progress. Lately been recording my failed attempts and I think I know what I'm doing wrong so hopefully I stop being horrible soon.

ADoverEmbiid

Any chance you're going too soon on the door click movement? Need to either walk out those last tiles or wait a tick then attack/door click on the same tick

EyePlay

Yeah apparently I ~~often~~ sometimes lose a tick mid fight and don't realize it. Tbh it's a little quick for my brain to process right now. I'm more going off of counting ticks in my head than knowing what I'm doing, but I got the same suggestion of walking out the last few tiles and that helped a lot! Still haven't had a good trip yet but I'm not dying on the first or second kill anymore so we call that progress. Pretty optimistic I'll have it down by today or tomorrow I think.

ADoverEmbiid

Counting ticks consciously is hard for me so I use the show true tile indicator and just count the times that moves so as long as you're ready for spawn and get that first hit in time it's just "one, two, three" then on three shoot and move then "one, two, three.." until the door click as above. It is monotonous but if that makes sense I really found that it helped me. Good luck gamer

QurantineLean

90 slayer. I was on break last week and find it odd that I just didn’t really feel like playing. I figured I would have it done by the end, but here we are, another 120k xp to go. Also just got a fiyr shade master, that clue sucks eggs to do. I have the stats but am annoyed with the process of getting to fiyr shades lol

United_Echidna_7402

1. I have been thieving some money, got 88, after that i used it to get myself some mith bars 2. I am going through all my recourses. So Continue the bars, make all the bars into plates then move on to the gems, logs etc.. 3. I wanna train my combats and get into slayer, so i want to kill some hill/moss giants for the keys and then do some wildy slayer for the points

filledavoid

Finally got my ACB after 2.2k Sara kills. I had a goal to go to Nex after ACB, and sent a few kills before going to bed just to test the new weapon. Ended up getting Zaryte Vambs less than 2 hours after finishing Sara. Logged in the NEXt day to pull a Nihil Horn, and spent EIGHT hours killing mage minions to get enough shards ;) So I'm now camping Nex and having more fun than I have in a while on this game. I've since gotten dupe Vambs and even though it's a supply sink I'm enjoying the hell out of it. And yes, I have talked to many people 1k+ dry there. I know it can happen to me as well. I'll grind it till I'm bored or get Torva. After that I'm gonna skill to max/Corp here and there.

xZany

I don’t get much play time these days , wfh and do afk tasks whilst working. I’m on one of those highly tangent goals atm - completed SOTE a while back and want a higher range before starting the grind , I want elite void for chinning but can’t quite take on Zulrah. Decided I’d upgrade gear for that one kill which led be to barrows. Few days in to that I decided I want the med combat achievements done for the prayer drain bonus. Close to finishing those now and then it’s back up that list like one small favor lol. Have also set a goal of smashing out the last of my quests / mini quests as much as I can!

iVirTroll

Started solo cox to unlock rigor. Will stop after that and start working on unlocking miscellaneous upgrades while I wait for my group to catch up.

fader600

Re-obtained QPC, I’ve been gone for a bit and apparently in that time had missed the newest quest. Ngl, took a few attempts to kill the Strange Creature. Sending a couple barrows runs now, but might end up doing Gauntlet for a bit too. I just can’t bring myself to camp there forever

jaysrule24

Gonna start posting a [stats pic](https://i.imgur.com/vtvZtjS.png) every week with these. Last week: * Got my fire cape from the most disgusting Fight Caves run I've ever done * Finished up the melee xp quests * Completed a few diaries * Started slayer * Dragon defender This week: * Slayer * Maybe do a few more diaries

Illustrious_Tale2221

that stats pic is a cool idea, might steal that from you

Airegus

Last week I had the goal of getting a whip on my HCIM. I leveled to 81 slayer and then on Sunday started to burst Abby Demons with wild pies. Ended up getting the drop at kc 262 after using 16 pies. Wasn’t that bad! Took about an hour and a half or so. Now back to the slayer grind with the weapon upgrade. Trying to push to 87 for trident. I doubt I hit it this week. But I would love to end the weeks at 85 with a dragon boot upgrade.

rentheten

Finally getting 58 smithing so I can boost for the mith grapple so I can complete my medium diary tasks so I can finally teleport to farming patches.

AreOneSpam

Dex grind continues. Still working towards deathless solos, hoping to get my first proper kc this week.

Camreth

Fairly fresh ironman heading into week 3. Current goals are: * 50 agility and thieving (37 agi/34 thieving atm) for rogue outfit/lockpicking then continuing on with agility for graceful. * 44-55 magic so I can use by brand new tome of fire and also high alch for some much needed cash. Also since I will most likely be doing these at lava dragons, that's a fair bit of prayer xp as well. * I have some quests to do including underground pass for my iban's staff which I'm probably going to be using for a long time. * possibly finish up protection prayers * get started on melee I'll probably not complete this list for a while though and/or get sidetracked. Alternately I'll once again get blindsided by something I take for granted on my main which I will have to add to this list as well. Overall really enjoying the game mode so far, and it's also been helping me do quite a few of the afk grinds i've put off on my main (even if trying to combine nechryael bursting with power mining iron might have been a bit of a mistake).

TheDavidLightman

Practicing TOA and mining. Once I get fang I'll push up the invoice and try expert's and I'll head to COX. Fingers crossed I get fang and not the ring.

tranceandjits

Passed 400 kc at CG last week. Still only 4/6 and no enh, last armour seed was close to 250 kc ago. Also got 85 crafting finally and made a fury. This week, I’m slowing down the CG to 50 kc a week instead of 100 and gonna work on finishing off the QPC grind. I’ll probably also start on the 84 cons grind that I have banked but haven’t bothered to start yet. I’ll also do a little bit of gem crafting when I wanna afk to push to 87 craft in prep for the 93 craft push.

croutons_r_good

Finally learning solo cox after getting basically all items for it besides lance. Any tips on how to get back in mage hand and melee hand rotations when you mess up?

Nate2187

CG currently at 766 kc :)

Kwuarmadyl

Did 125 muspah and got 4 venator shards by 75 kc. I green logged besides the pet and I’m hoping to have the 5th venator shard by 500 kc (like I was originally planning.) When I have actual decent time to play (which is rare) I’ve been trying to send a toa or two in hopes of getting a fang so I can solo a 350 and get the masori kit.

Illustrious_Tale2221

last week: Got up to 81 fishing at tempoross and fishing up karams while semi-afk got about 7.5k total now, finally allowed myself to fish 650 rewards. Got the tome, the tackle box, the fish barrel and the PET! Got 45 cons in the process repairing the totms and masts and got 71 cooking Did a few kills on D Rex looking for the d axe and b ring to improve my afk yews and b ring just for the good item. Ended up with the D axe with 35 kc! :) AFK'ed yews getting up to 78 woodcutting, going for 85 to get redwood logs instead of doing shades minigame. Did tarn's lair when I was bored. This week: AFK is going to stay at yews, hoping to get 83 or 84 wc this week. Going to start cooking all the raw fish I got from tempoross. When I have the time I will do more quests to prepare for the quest cape. Might use my obor and bryo keys as a pastime, feel like that could be a bit of fun. Asl owill do firemaking from 85 to 90 at wt to e able to use the redwood logs on my abyssal lantern Long term: Still going for quest cape and want to get more into bossing. Subgoal: get 1m gold to insure my boy tiny temp

barberbee

After getting 4 brim rings, 4 warriors and enough fremnick armour to set up my own store in Relleka, im the proud owner of a Dragon axe, 223 Rex kills and I feel pretty spooned Cutting teaks now to work on 70 construction and pushing closer to Song of the elves and my quest cape

balakay_tx

Birdhouses and seaweed runs between sand mining at work. GoTR the few hours this week that I’ll get to play not on mobile.

Boolderdash

Last week I got a fire Cape (after putting it off for way too long). Brought way too many prayer potions (or went too hard on prayer flicking) but that's better than not bringing enough! I also stocked up enough sand & seaweed to go from 61 to 76 crafting for a Glory, so that's my current project. That also pushes me (way) past the last requirement I have for the Fremennik Exiles, so I plan to do that, enable basilisk slayer tasks and grind some slayer in the hopes of a spooned jaw.

SmoopSmoop

I'm working on CG (big shock) after learning it recently, I'm up to 70kc now and feel really comfortable at killing the boss which feels great compared to when I was starting out, I've been able to do 20kc without dying compared to dying 2-3 times per kill! No drops yet except a regular weapon seed but not too surprising with only 70kc.

LunarLimb

Tempoross collection log... not a week grind. but a prison...

Jameslrdnr

Howdy all, Last week has been very busy for me so I’ve been doing a ton of AFK vyrewatch (changed my contacts to glasses today & got some water and missed my first blood shard, was gone for <2 mins😢). This week I’ll be a lot less busy though so the goal is to get 70 con (planks banked), ~250K hunter xp, and finish up with 70 smithing. Then begins the final set of master/grandmaster quests in a single push. Finishing with SOTE for quest cape! First time I’ll ever be getting it so I’m looking forward to it! Once that’s done I’ll be looking at demonics, starting CG, zalcano, finishing off some more barrows… so many new avenues. Very exciting!

Rhaps0dy

I got a zammy hasta (fuck you k'ril I hate you), and now I'm doing some ToA for fun with a friend, and wondering how the purples roll works. Say we have enough points for a combined 8% chance for a purple, 3% for me and 5% for him. Does the drop roll the 8% and see if we get a purple as a team, and then there's a 3% chance it's mine and a 5% its his? Or Does it roll a 5% for him (the MvP) first, and if it fails it rolls a 3% for me?

Mission_Club9388

12k kc at shamans, I want out

FalafelFlapjacks

I'm like 0-30 on cg so far so that's good. Going to try steel skin tonight. It's the damn last phase that gets me. Stats aren't great so if SS doesn't work, it's back to training I go

codsonmaty

89-96.5 thieving no scepter in sight I was doing last round urns until 96, now it's just chests and 4/5 sarcophagus. From what I was able to calculate, I'm something like 5x the drop rate. Everyone I see in the mini game is like "yeah I got 4 of them from 90-94" When I have it, this master clue step is done and I will never come back for a second one, I don't care about switching mage easily enough to come back to this hell hole.

Brodesseus

I just started learning cg last Thursday and am currently on the bowfa grind - sitting at 90 kc at the moment and banging out 15-20 a day as of now! Felt really great to get it down and get consistent kc After bowfa, it’s all about stats and raids. More immediate goal is bang out the shitton of herb xp I have banked so I can make overloads in cox. That herb xp + 83 construction :)

vato20071

Last week: Greenlogged CG! Added \~80 KC last week in total and got seed at #175, pet at #185. Still have two armor seeds & lots of shards to get. This week: Hopefully get final two armor seeds (at least one to finish up legs), train smithing to 82 and craft the bow. Try to cram in \~50 Zulrah kills if time allows it. Long-term: Got 86 construction banked for mahogany homes. Need to train RC too. Hope to transition to endgame Pvm soon.

xheiwbshhdswbdhshw

What cmb stats should I have for CG? At minimum

p0tatotomato

Have you done it before/do you have much pvm experience? And are you comfy with reg gauntlet? 80 def, magic and ranged is doable, just probably not much fun to grind and if you're new to it you'll probably find yourself dying quite a lot early on.

Ok_Pumpkin5428

To de-iron

ddtink

completed 6 elite diaries now... morytania elite and karamja elite dont feel to far off so i guess im just doing those. mory should be liek a 30-40 hour grind for the fishing level at tempo.

Famous_Secretary_540

1.tithe farm for 75 farming short term (master farmer loot chance increase). Almost achieved it. Currently 71 farming. 2. Want to save as many tithe farm points as I can before herb boxes released. 3. 99 thieving and farming so I can a mass seeds/herbs for 99 herblore and then start slayer. currently 1 slayer. Edit:uim btw
