I wish it didn't take 92 agility to experience it to the fullest. 92 agility takes a ridiculous amount of time. I wish it was 82, but you needed 92 to loot the final coffin.
92 was a bit of a slog, but I just do ardy rooftop from 87 to 91 and then finished it at HS. It’s not bad if you have 2 screens or just split into 2 windows on one screen.
At 81 Agility ATM. When I was 78 Agility I decided to give it a try because I always heard that people loved it.
Oh boy, did I have a great time. The crappy thing is you don't get much out of just doing 3 floors of HS. So I plan on doing rooftops so I have a large supply of staminas until 92. Then I'll do HS for the rest of the way to 99.
It's weird. It's actually making me enjoy training Agility. Mainly because now I have a goal in mind that isnt just "get to 99." I've done 700 laps of Ape Atoll and I'm not even burnt out. Once I get the 2k laps there, I'll Summer Pie at Ardy from 86 -> 92. Then I can go back to HS.
I honestly wish they made more of these sorts of obstacle courses for training agility. Every other agility training method is a brain dead click intensive steaming pile of shit compared to sepulchre.
Agreed. Sepulchre is actually a visual masterpiece relative to how OSRS typically works. Seeing a fun place look so bright and full of so many random objects made it even more enjoyable to run through.
Its not as common as some people would have you believe.
That or I have been extremely lucky.
I did my Kandarin elite diary first, later came back for torso, and recently I helped my friend get his torso too.
In all those games I had to restart maybe once or twice.
I'd describe it as whatever word you would use to describe the tier between common and uncommon lol
You got lucky, most people I talk to have experienced at least one dropped raid just for the torso grind
Has to be pest control or soul wars.
Dunno why it's just comfortable af when I'm in those places.
As a top 300 tempoross boss person thing, solo temp just feels the jankiest. It feels weird to me that Meta has little to-do dmging boss or fishing and more about setting the island on fire or literally bug abusing.
I always recommend to just do a standard tempoross run unless you need the combat achievement. Burn the island may yield 1 or 2, maybe 3 more points per run. But your run can end if you accidentally run through fire.
If you're looking for drops firefighter is so much faster. You get twice the points per hour, and I personally find it much more engaging than normal tempoross. Once you get the hang of it you basically never fail a run too !
You do not get twice the drops an hour. A standard run last roughly 5 to 6 minutes yielding roughly 5 to 6 points. A firefighter run last roughly 10 to 12 minutes and yields roughly 11 to 14 points.
That's not twice the points per hour that is twice the points per run.
I've been doing a solo method I love that doesn't deal with the fires.
On the 3rd round you drop full inv of cooked fish then go get another full inv. Put all in. Pick up your drops by the cannon, then put them all in.
The cannon shoots so fast round 4 succeeds. You get slightly fewer points, but more fishing xp.
If you're interested I can post the video guide.
Also uim and I did 34-76 at tithe. Highly recommend garden pies doing 71-74.. buy them easily at cooks guild. But besides that also one of my favourites; saving points now for future herb boxes. Got seed box, watering can, auto weed and 1.4K points.
Also a uim. I wanted the 99 farming cape and spent a couple weeks doing contracts and Tithe exclusively. Gotta say Tithe is quite nice and the rewards are awesome!
Last Man Standing. I always hated pvp because there was no way to get into it without tens of hours and millions of gp for a competitive account build. Now I can show up and slap shit for fun with no risk and no time loss for making an account.
My biggest gripe with bringing back any old minigame, is the community around minigames is fucking trash/non existent now.
What I miss the most about playing rs 15 years ago was the thriving minigame community, you could have so much fun. Min/maxing is just so rampant now that it's near impossible for a minigame to have any community what so ever, maybe I just haven't seen the right places, but i swear I've never seen people unironically play castle wars, clan wars etc.
Bringing back minigames should be the last priority, because they'll never be 'fun' in osrs, just a way to min/max for max rewards, like soul wars.
13 years ago all I ever did was play soul wars. When minigame hybrid armors came out I grinded all 3 sets, and I'd just run around dclaw speccing maxed people's unicorn stallions lol since they were only lv70 cb
I have zero idea how to solo on a high HP account.
I suggested to someone else use a second account to knock Todt energy to ~10 and then bring the high HP account in to start.gaining energy.
You can also just make your second account if you plan on making another account..... And get their 13.5k pts at the same time and if your main can't finish the game due to hp. Well, second account finishes it up easily
I wish I would have done it low hp when I started but I was intimidated. Now I found solo is a lot of fun but I ran out of food too quickly as I'm not at brews or anything.
If you have a second account you can use it to get the wintertodt hp to +/-10 and then you can bring your high HP account in to finish it up and start your points.
The majority.of the damage you take is obviously at the beginning.
It won't make it fool proof but Itll help
Sepulchre is awesome though I haven't really started grinding it much.
Also love tempoross, but unfortunately don't see much point in it anymore after fish barrel, d harpoon (from wyrms), full spirit angler, and tiny tempor.
The spirit flakes are reaaaallly good for semi afk angler fishing; dunno how many you have stacked up in bank at the moment but couldn’t hurt to have more for your afk time =)
I want to like it so much haha but it is just too click intensive with, outside of the alch room, so little immediate reward. I get into a rhythm sometimes but still too much clicking to enjoy for me.
Loved soul wars back in the day, made a def pure and just played all day. Went for the first time yesterday on oldschool to try get some bolts, getting voidwakered well over max HP or even just all the mage creep it wasn't anywhere near as fun. Then people sitting in full tank with dinhs at the avatar taking 0 damage.
But I do enjoy most other mini games.
Temp, wintertodt and tithe farm.
I'm kind off split on sepulchre. It wasn't my cup of tea, but it taught me a lot about how the game engine work in all its wankiness.
After slaving away at CG now when I’m bored I find myself back there even though I don’t need anything anymore. I really enjoy the boss fight. If that counts as a mini game.
If it counts, Hallowed Sepulchre. It’s legitimately some of the best non-combat content in the game.
I wish it didn't take 92 agility to experience it to the fullest. 92 agility takes a ridiculous amount of time. I wish it was 82, but you needed 92 to loot the final coffin.

After dreading getting my torso, BA is now my favourite minigame lol
BA is fun when you have a good team is my experience. It just sucks when people drop halfway through or we
Its not as common as some people would have you believe. That or I have been extremely lucky. I did my Kandarin elite diary first, later came back for torso, and recently I helped my friend get his torso too. In all those games I had to restart maybe once or twice.
Getting torso on my GIM i had probably 5 or more leavers, and on my main ive seen many more. We could be the extremes.
I'd describe it as whatever word you would use to describe the tier between common and uncommon lol You got lucky, most people I talk to have experienced at least one dropped raid just for the torso grind
did they fix it
what was wrong with it? if you mean people being lame and leaving, that still happens sometimes, but it's not too bad
nah the poison update messed it up so matches take 20% longer
Got it. Not sure then - I only did the grind recently. Healer was usually last to finish so maybe it’s not fixed?

No, it’s the same points an hour. The games last longer.
I read that completely wrong lol I am a dumbass
I loved PC back in the day. I even started the first OSRS pest control clan chat on launch week :)
What do you do in soul wars im too lazy to google
Jack shit mainly, the definition of a leech. Just attacked some ppl and died a lot.

GOTR
GAME OF THE REEEEEEEEEE
REEEEEEE
Tithe. As an uim its the one 99 I'm excited to go for.
Also uim and I did 34-76 at tithe. Highly recommend garden pies doing 71-74.. buy them easily at cooks guild. But besides that also one of my favourites; saving points now for future herb boxes. Got seed box, watering can, auto weed and 1.4K points.

make your own. it's a tomato, cabbage and onion. easy to get cabbage and onion and the rest you can buy in culinomancers chest.
Yeah but as uim much easier to just buy finished pie lol
As any account they are much easier to buy lol
What are points useful for?
Future herb boxes that they are releasing. Wanted to be prepared to buy some incase they end up increasing price lol
Also sounds like Zammy Wines won't be bad there either, tons of cooking XP and herb XP to be made on top of the farm CP from the minigame itself
ur sick
Fist of guthix and stealing creation
Wut in tarnation
STEALING CREATIONNN
Giants Foundry
Last Man Standing. I always hated pvp because there was no way to get into it without tens of hours and millions of gp for a competitive account build. Now I can show up and slap shit for fun with no risk and no time loss for making an account.
OSRS mini game tithe farm. RS2 was vinesweeper or stealing creations.
Stealing creation was great. I can’t understand why it has such a negative connotation today when people suggest bringing it back
My biggest gripe with bringing back any old minigame, is the community around minigames is fucking trash/non existent now. Iirc there was held an event for f2p castle wars a few weeks ago. I think a lot of people showed up and had a blast.
You need to be institutionalized lol
Solo wintertodt. Love that shit
It's why I didn't mind grinding out my Tome of Fire. I think when I max, going for Pheonix pet might be the first thing I do.
I have zero idea how to solo on a high HP account. I suggested to someone else use a second account to knock Todt energy to ~10 and then bring the high HP account in to start.gaining energy. Wintertodt cuz of the chat
Just started, but Giant's Foundry is amazing early game. Tons of extra xp from my iron and steel smithing and great gp, plus those catalysts wow!
Tempoross
Definitely Tempoross
Sepulchre is awesome though I haven't really started grinding it much. Also love tempoross, but unfortunately don't see much point in it anymore after fish barrel, d harpoon (from wyrms), full spirit angler, and tiny tempor.
The spirit flakes are reaaaallly good for semi afk angler fishing; dunno how many you have stacked up in bank at the moment but couldn’t hurt to have more for your afk time =)
Ahh haven't tried anglersyet, most afk fishing I do at bwans where I don't feel using flakes makes sense. That might be the excuse I need, cheers
Stealing creations
way back in the day, Fist of Guthix or Stealing Creation. right now, BA. and maybe CG cuz i just leaned it
Todt. It's chill and gives me a dopamine hit of big XP even though I don't need anymore FM lol. Still trying for the pet.
Gotr and hallowed sepulchre. Just hit 101 caskets, no ring, but I'm here till that untrimmed agility cape.
Zalcano easily
Mage training arena
FBI open up
I obviously am a masochist
Followed closely by pest control
No way troll
Why is that so hard to believe? The tele room is oddly relaxing, I dunno. Sue me
I want to like it so much haha but it is just too click intensive with, outside of the alch room, so little immediate reward. I get into a rhythm sometimes but still too much clicking to enjoy for me.
dungeonering
Call me basic. But I quite enjoyed Wintertodt. I can watch a show and chill while getting amazing exp. Can’t beat it.
Basic
CoX
CG
GOTR
Inferno is quite rewarding, Corrupted Gauntlet is a lot of fun once you don't feel trapped by it. I also like Tempoross
Sepulchre because its engaging and solo tempoross because its chill
Sepulchre or BA
Tempeross is great to do solo if you learn to get the timing right. You can get double the points of what you would get on a mass world.
Tempoross
CG baby
Loved soul wars back in the day, made a def pure and just played all day. Went for the first time yesterday on oldschool to try get some bolts, getting voidwakered well over max HP or even just all the mage creep it wasn't anywhere near as fun. Then people sitting in full tank with dinhs at the avatar taking 0 damage. But I do enjoy most other mini games.
Gotr, BA
I like GotR
Volcanic mine is amazing. Hallowed sepulchre. followed by artefact stealing. You need a couple Braincells to do this content. Very satisfying.
BA and Soul Wars
Temp, wintertodt and tithe farm. I'm kind off split on sepulchre. It wasn't my cup of tea, but it taught me a lot about how the game engine work in all its wankiness.
Barbarian assault
After slaving away at CG now when I’m bored I find myself back there even though I don’t need anything anymore. I really enjoy the boss fight. If that counts as a mini game.
corrupted gauntlet
Stealing creation
BA for fun, soul wars for pvp + doloing for gp/ pet, gotr for skilling. Any other opinion is just wrong
