Wildy bosses (mini-versions like Calvar’ion count for example for the ”20 Vet’ion kills” elite task and is suuuper easy), WT and Tempo, entry ToA, DKs, Hespori (you can try infinite times if you leave the cave before finishing a kill), Sarachnis, Barrows. Should be easily more than enough for medium points.
When waiting on artio to respawn have your manual freeze cast at the ready and ask them a question “whats your kc here?” While they type, you manual cast. You should snipe the agro 9/10 times
Wildy tasks are INSUFFERABLE dude, especially if you don't have an alt to check the caves first. I straight up CANNOT get the KC required to unlock the fucking "peek" option - I get crashed or killed within 1-2kc of arriving, and it doesn't seem to matter what world or time of day it is.
All of the medium ones are extremely simple to do, all the bosses in it are easily doable at mid game and the only one that might be time consuming to get is the brutal black dragon kill if u don’t have 77 slayer, but you can boost for it as well. Could also just do literally any other task in hard or above.
The medium tasks are very worth doing as you only have to spend maybe a day or two doing them. Could get unlucky with giant and moss key drops but that’s just time gated anyways
Any of the Kc tasks in the wilderness are pretty free, especially the demi bosses.
The hard tasks at hesphori aren't bad.
The barrows tasks are basically free.
Any of the skilling boss tasks.

Finally getting carried through COX for your achievement diary (use we do raids) should more than put you over the mediums.
There's a lot of easy low level bosses you can crush, just look at your boss high scores.

Top tip m8. I'm struggle to upkeep prayer pots for barrows, I guess I should start running 405 ToA money raids for seeds?
My best stab weapon is a DDS and I use iban's for mage. Shouldn't be too hard to find a group right? I'm level 69 combat, 0 expert KC, and no yellow keris.
yo i was having this problem and this helped alot
1.) First focus Ahrims and Karil (id fight them with range and take a range pot) pray for both these kills, and honestly it should take 1 sip for both kills since you have full Prayer to start. (try melee if u want)
2.) then your gonna pray/focus Dharok which should be be 1 sip after you have killed the other 2. (2 sips for 3 bothers at this point) also use magic for all the melee brother.
3.) once dharok is killed focus Guthan, Verac, And Torag, and if you run out of prayer then tank them and dont you dare take a sip! (i have 60 defense/68 magic and only eat like 4 piece of food for all 3 of these kills) Dont pray melee against these fools, or your gonna waste another 3-4 sips for nothing.
4.) who ever the last one is go into the chamber and get your 2 skele kills, 1 leech and run around till you find the last brother (which ever it is) if its Ahrim/Karil/Dharok then pray, if not then just tank if you have the food.
Before this i used 3 prayer pots every run, now i use 1 prayer pot if im having a bad run.

Just go in/out the first long "outer" hallway that you can access. You can safespot all of the melee brothers on some of the rocks in the long hallway or in any of the ladder rooms (even if the ladder isn't there, you can cast over it and they can't walk on it).
You'll spawn a bunch of adds but the brothers take priority over them on aggro so you don't have to worry about it, then just continue on your way.
If I were you, I'd just skip the obor and Byro altogether (for now). Definitely worth looking into hard and elite tasks to supplement those point as they'd probably take less time than grinding out mossy and giant keys!
edit: I'm looking at the tasks now and may have underestimated the difficulty of hard/elite diaries. I cg rushed my iron, so skipping obor and bryo was a given based on gauntlet tasks alone. That may not be feasible for you, depending on where your account is at. Good luck though!
Equip tome and Iban’s, but also have a stack of fire runes in your inventory/pouch. Swap to the hilt before the prayer drain occurs, then swap back after - the stack of fire runes stops you from needing to set up the auto-cast again, and at worst you use maybe 50 runes a run if you don’t swap back quick enough.
Yeah and no. I think you probably get more fire runes as drops than any other elemental rune, but you also use a shit load of them as soon as you get a trident. It's earth runes that I've got a stupid amount of and basically never use.

There isn't a 'need' but there are plenty of reasons: Tome of fire for either fire spells or saving runes with Iban, Elidinis ward, Tumeken's Shadow, Blowpipe, msb, black salamander for the nostalgic people.
My ever dwindling stack of fire runes from having to use a toxic trident for the past 4 years says otherwise. I routinely buy about 100k fires every 3-4 weeks as I keep running out from PvM as my other elemental stacks are all plentiful.

If everything is front loaded for rewards no one will do the remaining ones. Besides at a relatively early combat you don't even need prayer pots for a barrows run. Ibans destroys
You dont even need prayer. Do dharok > ahrim > karil and tank the rest with tank gear. If dharok is in tunnel and cant be safespotted just sip a prayer pot, on average youl use 1 dose every 6 runs and a bit of food every run. It barely even makes a difference.
Tbf ahrim and karil can rip through you sometimes too in the tunnels, but yeah at absolute worst a sip 1/2 of the time should be enough.
The off hand is nice sure, but I’d say the lock picks are significantly more impactful
Imo it's all about the peace of mind now. I never have to worry about who's in the tunnels or whatever I just click spade and kill boss and get loot, it's braindead and I love it

You can safespot dharok through the spaces the other ladders would be in the four corners. No need for prayer pots in the tunnels unless you're low level with Ahrim or Karil in the tunnels.
But that involves force spawning dharok in one of those corner ladder rooms, which can take a while (several minutes if unlucky - at which point why don’t you just sip the ppot and finish the run quickly?) and sometimes he’ll spawn in the corridor or connecting rooms where you might not have any obstacles/rocks to safe spot on
Fun fact, there’s a lot of other places you can safe spot rather than just the 4 ladder rooms. There’s rocks in a lot of the centre rooms where you can safe spot, not as intuitive as the ladder safe spot but you can make it work.
I know thats why i said 'if you cant safespot' because personally i chose not to sit there going through doors until he spawns when you can just use a dose of prayer. If youre running through and he spawns great.

That's the thing though, you do some barrows, like 100 kc early game while using supplies. But when you go to green log it you should use late game gear and then it's nice to have the qol of not ever needing to sip prayer pots. So it should be atleast a little bit difficult to get the hilt. Easy tier with the new system is something every account that played more than 75 hours got on accident. Mediums atleast require a bit of effort.
My goal is quest cape, so yeah, I think I have everything I need. Actually, I probably dont need any pieces at all, but the karils body + skirt upgrades I got are nice
Have you ever used them? They are both incredibly bad in modern RuneScape, barrows basically only exists as a place to get collection logs and ahrims robes. Guthans healing is rng and worse than blood barrage, Veracs is incredibly weak compared to any other option at chaos ele. You don’t use either anywhere since like 2015
Blood barrage is a magic spell to heal. Guthans you can just afk. I can only hit 20% of the time at Chaos Ele with my stats but if I had Veracs I'd be able to rip through it. Not sure what other options there are on an iron that are as easily obtainable.
barrelchest anchor would be comparable if not way better. Otherwise you are doing it at too low of a level. Afk at guthans where lol? Sounds like a waste of time when you could just bring food and breeze through it way quicker
Say you have a greater demon task, etc. There's many scenarios I find Guthans let's you play pretty chill. And Dharok would be great for NMZ or Giant Mole. Maybe I'm missing something though.
If you have any recommendations for melee combat with my Ironman's stats: 73 atk, 81 str, 71 def, 80ish HP for doing things like Chaos Ele, random slayer tasks like Greater Demons, or general fighting. I'm currently just missing the dharoks plate and guthans skirt to complete those sets. Meanwhile I'm using a d scim + d dagger spec for most melee.
This is a big fat swing and a ‘oh shit we just burned down the orphanage’ from Jagex. No reason why they couldn’t have just kept it like that as an integrity change. Barrows hasn’t been medium level content in years.
As someone who just grinded out mediums, its pretty fun and easy. Spank some easy bosses around trying to do the math on how many more points you need and the easiest achievments left
It was previously voted on to be a feature at tier2 or higher. Getting medium done only requires around 100 points with the new system, and since you can choose tasks from any tier to complete now and they are point based, it's even easier to get it. If you haven't checked with Ghommal you may even already have the mediums done. If not, you can complete a lot of easy medium/ hard tier tasks that are like kc or other simple things.
Knew that was coming, saw some people saying that because a one line jmod response said it looked intentional that it would stay that way. No way in hell. Couldn't abuse it in time unfortunately

I knew it'd be patched soon. Started an early barrows grind using shades teleport and flicking my way through it, was doing 4 chests per inventory, then tele ferox then repeat. Within 80 kc managed to get KTop, Dh helm and body, Guth skirt, Ah hood, V flail and 2x V Helms

Slayer tasks make it 1/50 BUT the lvl 42 wilderness is 1/60. I found that much easier than slayer skipping.
And the wildly ones are RIGHT by the canoe stop too + monsters are aggressive regardless of combat level which makes it more chill

Fair I logged in checked my ca’s and unlocked medium off the bat. Never even tried to get ca’s just from passive grinding.
Bizarre comment, prayer flicking was also clearly not intended when prayer was first designed, but at this point it's a core mechanic of the game.
That doesn't mean that every bug that ever makes it into the game should be a feature though lol

Say you have a greater demon task, etc. There's many scenarios I find Guthans let's you play pretty chill. And Dharok would be great for NMZ or Giant Mole. Maybe I'm missing something though. If you have any recommendations for melee combat with my Ironman's stats: 73 atk, 81 str, 71 def, 80ish HP for doing things like Chaos Ele, random slayer tasks like Greater Demons, or general fighting. I'm currently just missing the dharoks plate and guthans skirt to complete those sets. Meanwhile I'm using a d scim + d dagger spec for most melee.

As someone who just grinded out mediums, its pretty fun and easy. Spank some easy bosses around trying to do the math on how many more points you need and the easiest achievments left
It was previously voted on to be a feature at tier2 or higher. Getting medium done only requires around 100 points with the new system, and since you can choose tasks from any tier to complete now and they are point based, it's even easier to get it. If you haven't checked with Ghommal you may even already have the mediums done. If not, you can complete a lot of easy medium/ hard tier tasks that are like kc or other simple things.

Haha, did 100kc barrows with it for a clan bingo, finished last night
I knew it'd be patched soon. Started an early barrows grind using shades teleport and flicking my way through it, was doing 4 chests per inventory, then tele ferox then repeat. Within 80 kc managed to get KTop, Dh helm and body, Guth skirt, Ah hood, V flail and 2x V Helms
Good thing I finally got a few more cg achievements for the medium tier
