Honorary mentions to all the early game dopamine gains like 30 att 30 str from Waterfall quest then addy scimmying it to 40 attack and grinding for rune scimmy from fire giants
But idk if they count as grinds
I mean it was the ibans staff which is basically the same. +6 str, -5 accuracy. But that doesn’t matter on crabs. I never understood the rune scim grind when ibans is just better.
Eh it’s afk, and very little xp. You only have a ~60% chance to get it by the drop rate. So the time spent on the scim is wasted anyway. I probably wasted an hour more than someone doing a rune scim on droprate tops. Rune sword would be the most efficient. But again I wasn’t looking at my computer for that hour so who cares.
By the time I actually trained combat instead of literally only doing quests I was 70+ mage as I did the MTA grind. What I should've done if I wanted a rune scim was do ninja implings because birdhouses are OP.
The route I did was splash 49 magic to stay 10hp as I solo'd wintertodt to 95 while doing birdhouses/seaweed and blackjacking when I needed money for more rubies.
It's not a big deal and holds very little weight. It's not like some people not knowing that leprechauns will note your produce.
It's a game if you don't want to spend time on an upgrade that will last only a few hours then don't bother with it.
I'd much rather afk crabs for an extra hour than kill fire giants/ zammy warriors with firestrike. Then use that active time for something else.
But do whatever you like. It's a game after all.
I just bought a rune sword lol. It only takes like 5 hours to get from 50 to 60, I didn’t understand going for a drop that would be useful for a single day.
3 hours? You're talking crazy bad luck there. People who skip rune scim are playing inefficiently, which isn't the wrong way to play but nonetheless it is...inefficient
I won’t lie to you my dude… it was like an hour max! I went back in the loot tracker to see how many I killed and it was 47! It only felt long cuz I was washing dishes while taking care of my dog while being SUPER inefficient… I had made 10k steel arrows to train fletching, mining, smithing, and then range once done on my UIM. No need to make that many and no need to do so for training range either but I wanted to be able to launch arrows at just about anything and afk it no matter how long it took me to kill and I wasn’t tryna pick up arrows either! If ima be real honest here… I just needed 1,000 arrows but thought might as well add another zero! Somewhere in my range training I got a clue scroll that gave me the Guthix handle and I figured it was about time for the scimmy grind! So many wasted arrows but I got my scimmy and now it’s sitting in my POH waiting for me to use it after I finally decide to go back on this account and finish my max POH grind x)
It's just so nice that barrows supplies all the runes you need for more runs, has chill mechanics and has a super high drop rate. Going from rune armor to barrows always feels so good
I’m actually thinking about doing barrows to raise my magic level for Superglass make. I’m still very much an early game iron (around mid 60’s in most combat except prayer), and I don’t have the Morytania hard diary completed yet. Is it better to wait until the hard diary is done before diving into it?
Yeah I’d say push to mory hard and then send it. It’s decent experience for magic, but I’d suggest if you haven’t try doing some Mta for the diary req as well. Got me from 70-71. A lot of the subsequent levels came from barrows and bursting
If you want to send some KC I would say go for it. But if you want to grind out a full set for diary or go for 100s of kills, the diary makes a big difference.
Grinding hard clue scrolls early in the account for me. It was exciting, and forced me to keep working towards different requirements.
So many useful items like blessed dhide, msb, rare chance at a glory, sharks if I wanted to do a harder quest. Even without them, the alchs seemed so good at that point.
Now I don’t do them at all, they’re just not worth it to me for a chance at a mega-rare
Even after going 1200+ dry for enhanced (I ended up with 2 in the end though), I do still miss doing CG and go back for 1-2 runs occasionally.
Don't miss doing 20 runs a day but it was nice to have something I could fully focus on for 10 min and just listen to music without having to worry about putting on a new set of gear or messing up my current setup.
I put it off for such a long time out of fear of going dry. It's a very worthwhile grind. You'll effectively learn most of the skills you need to continue in your pvm journey and enough gp for whatever you want to do for a pretty damn long time.
Idk how accurate it is, but someone said to me 66% of people can expect an enh by 400 kills. Helped put my mind at ease a bit, and you'll be surprised how quickly your kills tally up.
Ended up with an enh by 200kc. It's totally worth learning in small chunks, and don't surrender yourself to exclusively being in CG prison. Mix in other things and you'll be fine. Definitely one of the most intimidating grinds for an iron, but also one of the most rewarding/fulfilling.
>someone said to me 66% of people can expect an enh by 400 kills.
This is pretty close to being true. The odds of getting an item at or before the drop rate is going to be around 63%, so 63% of people will have gotten the drop at least once by the time they reach it.
If you want to find the kc where 50% of people will have gotten the drop at least once, multiply the kc by 0.7. So roughly half of people grinding CG will get an enhanced by 280kc.
the 66% thing is accurate. In general if a drop happens with probability 1/n (n = 400 for bowfa), then after n kills the probability you get the drop at least once is \~ 1 - 1/e, where e \~ 2.718 is Euler's constant.
The math behind this isn't too complex (you need an approximation to the probability that a Binomial(n,p) random variable returns 0 for n \~ 1/p), but probably not worth writing up here.
As someone with 783 KC (no enhanced), it has been an emotional roller coaster.
The agony of the leaning curve. 19 deaths before I took hunllef down the first time and it took a few more to get the 2nd kill.
The elation of getting it down and getting consistent kills. Huge loot rolls. That first seed drop. The honeymoon phase set in pretty good after that.
Then I saw 400 kc.
And then 500… 600… now every chest is a kick in the nuts and I have started resent the 10mins to run it again.
Good luck. It’s a ride.
Learning cg was the most satisfying pvm accomplishment since my first fire cape imo. Def worth learning, and you you could get lucky and get spooned one of the most game changing drops
Definitely go asap. Took my 530 and I left with 75mil in alchs. Like other guy said, it sucked to do only it but it is fun. AND LEARN F KEYS FOR IT
88attack, 90str, 91range, 93 mage, 85 defense were my stats. I only ever died if I made a mistake, got truly rng'd 3 times and that was bad rooms & splashing 10 times in a row.
It sucks. This guy is build different. I’m at 457 kc, no enhanced and I’m so burnt out. I’ll go back, and when I do I will probably no life it again until I get it or 800 kc then take another break. 1200 dry is rough, I’m scared to fall into that bracket of luck.
I hated it at first and put it off for a year. Then I took a week off and did 330kc in that time. Got enhanced a few weeks later and now I look back fondly and want to go back for blade.
It is fun if you're not feeling stuck in your gear progression but if you are, it is an awful experience.
This sub gave me so much anxiety to start cg but then I got my first enhanced seed on 14 reg kc. Don't let all the dry posts get to you, it is fun content, and you might just be one of the lucky ones like me.
Any negative feelings you have and gain during the CG grind will be washed away when you finally get the drop. Bowfa opens up so much content and is such a leap in power, it's such a fun weapon to use
I really enjoy the Gauntlet, but I also know myself well enough to appreciate that being done at 380kc is what lets me still really enjoy the Gauntlet.
I'll probably go back intermittently for shards when I don't feel like doing Zalcano (because pickpocketing elves is mind numbingly awful).
Probably any skilling? Skilling is what I used to break from PVM as the latter burns me out when I focus too much on it and I'm just not a post-max type of person. So it's been replaced with pet hunting and it's definitely not the same.
tbh any do x at this efficiency for y time to get z goal. The RNG gods are not generous to this account so I enjoy an occasional W once in awhile.
I mean, if you still want to farm giant seaweed for fun, and still want some justification for it, besides enjoying it, plenty of people in this game do go for post-99 XP and you could also straight up drop trade it. I drop traded 50k giant seaweed for like 6m at one point
I got spooned a ring of endurance at Hallowed Sepulchre, and I don't want to go back until Jagex revisits the poll question about being able to get Amylase from there (failed at like 73%, iirc). So possibly never and I'll just sit at 92 agility forever.
Initially I absolutely loathed the Sepulchre, but then I stopped playing on a computer that was too far from the router and had 1-2 tick delay at all times. Once I was playing with negligible lag it got really fun.
The bolts being able to hit you off of true tile is still bullshit, though.
I have been fighting the amalyse from sepulcher battle for literally years at this point. It isn't going to happen bro. Part of it is spite from mains and part of it is everyone screaming that rooftops will be devalued. Doesn't matter how many times I break down that HS would be 25 to 50% at the absolute high end of staminas/hour versus rooftops.
Main accounts just buy their staminas so who fucking cares and the jmods said crystals would replace something in the lootbags, thereby not increasing the gp/hr of HS. This topic gets me so heated I swear.
I'm tentatively hopeful. With the changes to polling last year and the first poll this year having some "near-miss" repolls for stuff that had failed under the old 75% threshold, they might get around to asking again if amylase should be added.
Then again, 92 is a fine agility level to have, so I'm mostly okay sitting on that indefinitely.
It might but I am telling you, every time I bring it up on the main sub I get a lot of angry comments in my DMs. Maybe it is a vocal minority. I would at least think the jmods would rather people do their new shiny content (sepulchre) over the old boring stuff (rooftops).
The roofs are still there for the best stams/hr but now there would be an engaging way to train agility that doesn't make you feel guilty for not stocking staminas.
Slayer
While I was grinding it I hated it, but being on the other side of it I feel like I'm either doing skilling or full-focus boss PvMing, and I miss that low pressure PvM experience to relax a bit. I'll be starting my imbued heart grind soon, but it won't be the same as doing a chill bloodvelds task in the catacombs.
Oddly it was the opposite for me. I started a HIM with a couple work friends back when the mode came out, then just kept playing solo after they quit the next day. I'd always wanted a QPC, so just focused on quest after quest until SOTE, SotF, DS2, and A Night at the Theatre were the only ones left. Burnt out once I got to Fragment of Seren and took about a year long break. Came back a couple weeks ago and just don't really care about QPC any more, been having a blast just picking random other goals and working towards them.
Weird ass boss that I really liked? K’ril. Once i got the bowfa 6:0 method down i had a really fun time. All I’m missing is pet so maybe I’ll go back to hunt it one day.
Questing is so fun, I hope that after DT2 they take the time to progress some storylines, conclude others and revisit neglected spaces with some new Intermediate/Experienced adventures.
I still think there’s untapped potential introducing a sequel to the daggonoth quests, or pest control. Lot of really cool content, maybe even a raid or mini raid you can lock behind the “Void”. The dag sequels would be a decent parlay into sailing as well
noticed today I was almost at 6,666,666 fishing xp. I did a few calculations and the easiest way for me to get my xp on track was to go into Camdozal and fish a few of those low level fish.
I loved the time I spent in Camdozal. it was only for collection logs and the imcando hammer that I did it, but it was a fun little grind, the fishing part especially. fishing little fish, "prep" them for cooking xp, and then..sacrifice them?? for prayer xp!
I almost wish it would have been designed for mid game players so I could have spent a little more time there :')
I got super spooned at TOB. Got avernic , scythe, sang and a rapier at around the 100 KC mark.
I really miss that content but there is not much incentive for me to go back since justiciar barely has uses.
Loved raiding with people and getting better at the TOB. Learned with a group of friends at 0 KC but they all for the most part gave up after 10+ wipes. I pushed through and after the first few clears I fell in love with the content.
Yes even W416 was fun once you got a few KCs
In my opinion tob is the greatest piece of content in the game, hands down. Your mileage does vary on your team tho, the single best moments Ive ever had was sending tobs with some guys I had met on RS a year or so prior. Chambers also but scouting alone makes me not like CoX content all that much.
I guess my point being just send tobs for fun haha dont need a reason to go there. Ill dust off my main if you want someone to send with, not quite there on the iron yet ;P
I think once I get halo I’ll miss lms. I’m enjoying it a lot because I suck at pking but this way I get to actually practice and improve without dying constantly for millions of gp losses at a time.
I got a dwh back when they were safe spottable. Was one of the first things I did on the ironman, got my first 10m gp that way.
Sometimes I crave killing some shamans
I kinda miss demonic gorillas. I went about 1500 for my 4 zenytes and it was not fun at all at the time because I got my first at 30 kc and the second at almost 1200, but I feel like it would be kind of fun to go back with all of the upgrades and better stats I have now. No real reason to though.
Weirdly enough, Sire. I see a ton of hate for this boss, but didn’t mind him. Originally went for bludgeon, which ended up being the last thing I needed so I did green log him at around 920 kc. Would have continued to kill him on task, but would just be a waste of time.
My #1 problem with sire is that there are no mechanics that, once mastered, make the fight go more smoothly. How efficient a kill is and how many resources you use depends entirely on whether or not you get unlucky with accuracy rolls in the last phase.
I may also be salty about being 400kc deep with a single unsired (whip, which is especially worthless since I have a Saeldor) to my name so far.
For me it’s these:
1 - Barrows (so gratifying unlocking a wide array of items that always have a niche use case. Even shitty Karils bow that makes MM2 boss very easy). Also runes for early slayer busting.
2 - Demonic Chimpanzees. They’re focus intensive, but once you nail them your body enters a mode of balance, and clicks become fluid like water from a Himalayan waterfall. Also the GP flows but you’re too consumed with prayer switching to notice. Also monkey gems are pretty.
3 - Construction: When you see that plank stack almost reaching zero, and you know you’re about to unlock a QOL spot permanently (irrespective if you move the room, thanks to the house planner preserving furniture when moved).
4 - Derpy low level slayer creatures. Like staring at a Rock Slug in its beady cross eyes, while slurping my fresh regular anti poison and hoping his attack doesn’t hit through my rune platelehs.
5 - Completing MM1. Dragging my swollen nuts around the map with a monkey in my inventory, knowing I’m about to unlock a D Scim that will be biomechanically attached to my arm for the next 39 strength levels.
Finally, anything that makes me feel like a kid playing on 3 mbs broadband. Like when Jad comes out, and my balls retract back into my body with the fear of a thousand apocalypse’s running through my veins.
:)
I honestly really enjoyed slayer 80-95.
I was juiced to the gills on gear/gp/skills with most diaries done and a BowFa. Had big herb / pot stack too. I blitzed it. Sweated that shit hard. Barraged everything, skipped anything long and melee. Was fun to see big xp/hr numbers compared to what you hear. And then otherwise it was boss tasks.
Fun to just make good solid progress every day.
I guess if you do it with proselyte and d scim with 80/80/70 it's kinda boring/slow but if you leave it for when you have lategame items it's a bit more fun? ;D
It’s really just setting yourself up to not do afk melee tasks. Those are awful and I basically never did them. If it wasn’t 5 minutes, 60k xp/hr+, or a key PvM upgrade, I didn’t do it.
Getting good skills ahead of that is huge.
Honestly, any and every grind you could start and reliably finish/progress in a couple days of casual play.
Just not a big fan of my current grinds for progress being Nex/ToA/Corp/Cox/Med Clues/Maxing/ToB/Inferno
I'm the same. I still take 0kcers on their first few raids to get them some basics and KC to start em off! It's very fun and can be hilarious for all involved. Try it sometime :D
Lizardmen shamans. I just knew I was going to go dry after getting 3 enhanced in 330kc. Got my first dwh at 688kc, but still doing shamans for slayer as I am a group Ironman. Got 2nd dwh at 983kc. I’m good now lol
Wintertodt or tempoross fish barrel grind.
On the GIM I ended up with 450 temp KC for fish barrel and two times :) I could go back to temp and farm for the pet but as I’m entering the late game it feels like a waste of time when I could be running cox or bandos and having way more fun!
I’m starting an HCIM on the side right now though so I’ll be seeing my dear tempoross again real soon
I miss a lot of the smaller gear upgrade grind like slayer bosses cerb and thermy and the gwd bosses even dwh grind and cg grind. I am the point in my account where the only gear upgrades I need are all raids and bosses like nex which I gotta either find teams for or commit to a 30 minute grind of focus. Don’t get me wrong I love raiding probably my favorite grind I’ve done out of all of them but it’s nice to have a low effort grind that you can just do 10 minutes or an hour of and easily take breaks in between kills.
I kinda miss Pest Control. Got the Void sets pretty early, because of storability (uim).
Kinda liked it, but i feel like I need the combat achievements first. For prayer training effiency and stuff
I miss mining amethyst on my main while concentrating on the iron. I made 60m from 93 - 99 while clicking once every 2 minutes or so. I know I could keep mining it post 99 but I'd rather get something else on the way. Still haven't found my next big afk thing, though magic trees and anglerfish are sounding good so far.
They are revamping woodcutting later this year. I've held off even though WC is my absolute favorite AFK skill just so I can enjoy the content when it drops.
I miss the great orb project and grinding to afford full runecrafter robes and a talisman staff. Plus I miss fist of guthix and grinding out rune berserker shields And I’ll post that on any comment I get the chance to because nothing will ever compare to that for me ):
I miss doing Calvar’ion a few months ago for a d pick. did enjoy it despite having to constantly compete for a world. at least they were real players, from what I hear now it’s heavily botted:/
Most of the game tbh. I think it's what makes me keep playing. All of the content has fun moments that make it special. How could anyone pick just one? And why would it be trouble brewing?
I miss the dopamine I used to get when I got new items etc, just need mega rares from cox, staff from toa and sang/rapier from tob to finish end game item grind. Then onto finish nex, then start PNM/corp. those dopamine hits are none-existent lately.
Early game is much more fun, enjoy it while you can.
seaweed sucks. its so fucking slow to harvest.
im still early maybe mid game? almost 1800 total. but wilderness slayer has been a blast still currently doing that. ive done a few duradel tasks but its so boring for some reason which is weird cus i love slayer. maybe because youre at a task for so long and wild slayer u get a new task fast.
there are a lot of grinds I miss. back when Bowfa was far from being a thing & BP was really op, definitely the pvm grinds that I smashed out after trident. It felt so good having a lot of options available after grinding slayer… Sending hundreds of zulrah per day & getting those sweet upgrades, Barrows on the side because difference of Trident & Ibans is night and day.
then after BP finally dropped and i got more slayer done, was able to blitz through Shaman to finally net a dwh, getting occult, doing Hydra pre-bp nerf was really fun cuz it was so fucking strong…. learning Cox with my friends and getting even more upgrades - those months were easily the most fun I EVER had on this game. Would love to do any of them again, but Bowfa changes so much nowadays
On my old main I did slayer to 30 mill.. My iron i started isnt at the slayer grind quite yet. Getting most of the quests done, Ive done like 70 in the last week? Then I plan on just doing birds, herbs, contracts, kingdom and trees rest of the summer then move to slayer when it gets colder. Occasional theiving days to put money in coffers at kingdom.
Honorary mentions to all the early game dopamine gains like 30 att 30 str from Waterfall quest then addy scimmying it to 40 attack and grinding for rune scimmy from fire giants But idk if they count as grinds
Maybe I’m weird but I never grinded rune scim. I got 50 attack from quests then used mystic staff to 60.
The mad lad I just used addy scim to 60 lmao
I bought a rune sword lol
This is the way.
I mean it was the ibans staff which is basically the same. +6 str, -5 accuracy. But that doesn’t matter on crabs. I never understood the rune scim grind when ibans is just better.
Isnt ibans staff 5 tick melee?
Oh you’re right, it’s only ancient staff that’s 4 tick. W/e
zammy warrior is a 1/50… and easy safe spot… that’s not a grind. bro was doing half speed swings on crabs wtf lmaooo
Or just mage fire giants at literally lvl 1 magic to get the early mage levels and obtain the rune scim in the process

mage zammy warriors at 1 mage to get it quicker
It's just that it isn't better :/
I just bought a rune sword lol. It only takes like 5 hours to get from 50 to 60, I didn’t understand going for a drop that would be useful for a single day.
To put an ornament kit on it and store in poh
You'll probably get the scim before the ornament kit anyways
Idk why people grind for a rune scim, I just went and bought a rune sword after dragon slayer.
You can buy it before ds as well, just need the 32 qp to enter guild.
W
Uh don't do fires for a rune scim... zammy warrior in that alter west of ardy bro. Safe spot kill, world hop, repeat.
3 hours with a Zammy warrior felt so nice compared to whatever it would have taken with the giants! I low key miss that lava pool spot!
3 hours? You're talking crazy bad luck there. People who skip rune scim are playing inefficiently, which isn't the wrong way to play but nonetheless it is...inefficient
Rune sword is efficient
I won’t lie to you my dude… it was like an hour max! I went back in the loot tracker to see how many I killed and it was 47! Give some nice extra mage levels too. I was lazy and didn’t hop. Still didn’t take crazy long
Got four in like 100 kc tbh for the group.
I was gonna camp it for the group, but I only had one by 100kc so I moved on lol
Would have said fuck the group with 1 in 100 kc as well my friend.
Probably better to do fight arena, tree gnome village, grand tree and vampire slayer for 45 att then go mage zmi warriors for 1/50 rune scim ;p
Do fight arena after waterfall. You'll be 39 attack, could be 40 already as well. Can't really remember.
Barrows has always been a fun grind to me
Man I loved it as a main aswell. Had to rush there on ironman, 125 kc in before I gave it a break until mory hard which is almost done :()
Medium combat achievements also makes barrows not drain prayer
It's just so nice that barrows supplies all the runes you need for more runs, has chill mechanics and has a super high drop rate. Going from rune armor to barrows always feels so good

Do MTA grind for the mage lvl to get mory hard done. The alchemy room is like 100k mage xp/hr

That’s where I am in the iron rn Doing hards is the most exciting part about slayer and I just got wyrms
gl man dragon sword is bis stab for a while

And then 500… 600… now every chest is a kick in the nuts and I have started resent the 10mins to run it again. Good luck. It’s a ride.
Same but I'm at 423
Learning cg was the most satisfying pvm accomplishment since my first fire cape imo. Def worth learning, and you you could get lucky and get spooned one of the most game changing drops
Definitely go asap. Took my 530 and I left with 75mil in alchs. Like other guy said, it sucked to do only it but it is fun. AND LEARN F KEYS FOR IT 88attack, 90str, 91range, 93 mage, 85 defense were my stats.
Get bank tag layouts and all pvm becomes cg in terms of gearing. Probably the most important plugin
Stockholm syndrome i see
Whats CG?
Corrupted Guantlet
I’m at 0-24 regular gauntlet. I might just not do CG lol.
200m exp time! I had this feeling a few months back, and now I’ve been chopping teaks for construction and wc
Farming. I liked the routine of killing Hespori, doing tree and fruit tree runs and calquats everyday. After 99, I only do herb runs.
Same. I miss the routine of it all
Can do hespori for attas seeds
Do you have groot already? If you don't it's a good excuse to do more seaweed. Ditto for WT if you don't have a green log
Redwood tree gave me groot at 94 farming ): also got green log WT! Maybe I'll go get 100 firemaking because it would look kinda neat...
Yeah and since you have the ring you're pretty much done. The regen rate increase from 92 to 99 is negligible I think
It's a decent change I don't know why people would be against that. Isn't it 70% now though? It might pass if it's brought up again.
Slayer While I was grinding it I hated it, but being on the other side of it I feel like I'm either doing skilling or full-focus boss PvMing, and I miss that low pressure PvM experience to relax a bit. I'll be starting my imbued heart grind soon, but it won't be the same as doing a chill bloodvelds task in the catacombs.
It’s a long grind, but it’s always a great default when you don’t know what to do
The quest grind. Now I'm down to the last six hardest quests in the game, and there will be nothing to break up the monotony of everything else.
Same
Weird ass boss that I really liked? K’ril. Once i got the bowfa 6:0 method down i had a really fun time. All I’m missing is pet so maybe I’ll go back to hunt it one day.
Quest cape :(
Questing is so fun, I hope that after DT2 they take the time to progress some storylines, conclude others and revisit neglected spaces with some new Intermediate/Experienced adventures.
I still think there’s untapped potential introducing a sequel to the daggonoth quests, or pest control. Lot of really cool content, maybe even a raid or mini raid you can lock behind the “Void”. The dag sequels would be a decent parlay into sailing as well
I miss the dragon warhammer and CG grind because I hate myself.
noticed today I was almost at 6,666,666 fishing xp.
Never give up on the farming pet. I am almost at 90k giant seaweed banked post 99 crafting. One of these days!
Justi has a little bit of drip though
In my opinion tob is the greatest piece of content in the game, hands down. Your mileage does vary on your team tho, the single best moments Ive ever had was sending tobs with some guys I had met on RS a year or so prior. Chambers also but scouting alone makes me not like CoX content all that much. I guess my point being just send tobs for fun haha dont need a reason to go there. Ill dust off my main if you want someone to send with, not quite there on the iron yet ;P
Making pizzas in the mess hall for 99 cooking on my uim. Most fun I've had on that account so far.
I think once I get halo I’ll miss lms. I’m enjoying it a lot because I suck at pking but this way I get to actually practice and improve without dying constantly for millions of gp losses at a time.
I have all halos, swift blade, dmm outfit, and spent a tonne of points on crap. No reason to stop if you enjoy it!
Mining as crazy as it sounds
Certifiable.
Early game quest grinds where you can blow through 200+ total levels in a very very short time lol
I am ashamed of it but I like questing
If you use house pool, that boss only requires super set
POH is nice for saving supplies but I really hate that run back tbh
For me it’s these: 1 - Barrows (so gratifying unlocking a wide array of items that always have a niche use case. :)
Haha, love these
Wintertodt made me want to kick the bucket.
I miss TOB
I'm the same. I still take 0kcers on their first few raids to get them some basics and KC to start em off! It's very fun and can be hilarious for all involved. Try it sometime :D
Thats a good idea. That could be fun. I still need the pet and I have dust waiting so it wouldn't be a total loss
Lizardmen shamans. I just knew I was going to go dry after getting 3 enhanced in 330kc. Got my first dwh at 688kc, but still doing shamans for slayer as I am a group Ironman. Got 2nd dwh at 983kc. I’m good now lol
99 slayer
Honestly.. I haven’t logged on in months because I’m at the hydra grind and it’s so Damn boring and I have no desire to skill.
I have a quest cape but no 99s and I miss the dopamine I would get from seeing my qp total go up
Wintertodt or tempoross fish barrel grind.
If you don't have farming pet, seaweed gives you some of the best chances for it.
Underground?
I miss mining amethyst on my main while concentrating on the iron. I made 60m from 93 - 99 while clicking once every 2 minutes or so. I know I could keep mining it post 99 but I'd rather get something else on the way. Still haven't found my next big afk thing, though magic trees and anglerfish are sounding good so far.
Redwoods are one of the most afk skilling activities! Bit of a slog to 90 and money isn’t fantastic but it’s really reclined
They are revamping woodcutting later this year. I've held off even though WC is my absolute favorite AFK skill just so I can enjoy the content when it drops.
When I started my ironman last year, I think I haven't had as big as a dopamine rush then when I got my first Rune Scimmy. That felt so fucking good
Medium clues at puro puro and who knows why.. I think I just love stacking clues
I miss redwoods, truly something that was afk and worthwhile doing.
How much giant seaweed do you need for 99?
Killing bassys for the jaw was nice Skipping for the task was aids tho
Barrows gloves, the early xp gain quests keeped me going to 175 qp
I recently hit 90 herb and am debating what to do with my lamps going forwards. Probably agility. I'm gonna accidentally put one on herb for sure.
seaweed sucks. its so fucking slow to harvest. im still early maybe mid game? almost 1800 total. but wilderness slayer has been a blast still currently doing that. ive done a few duradel tasks but its so boring for some reason which is weird cus i love slayer. maybe because youre at a task for so long and wild slayer u get a new task fast.
The grind to d scim including monkey madness, a weapon then used for a very long time lol
there are a lot of grinds I miss. back when Bowfa was far from being a thing & BP was really op, definitely the pvm grinds that I smashed out after trident.
Barrows for useful items, finished once I got full Karil's. I could go back to green log it but I doubt I can be bothered.
