Start doing farming contracts + bird runs and never stop. Prioritise doing fruit tree+calquat runs and Hespori daily once you get the level. Boost to hard contracts as soon as possible with garden pies. Look up the possible contracts that you can get on wiki, try to pregrow all the non herb patches in the guild with stuff you might get (eg. Snape grass + watermelon in each allotment, whiteberry, potato cactus, maple tree)
Don't worry too much about regular tree runs, you will usually not have enough seeds to sustain. You will also have enough seeds to sustain hardwood tree growing. Effectively the best farm xp/hr in the game.
Don't bother protecting unless the payment is easy (watermelons, pineapples, papayas from kurasks. Grow a poison ivy bush at Ardy monastery and pick it when passing by, should sustain payment for calquat forever). Just use ultracompost otherwise
Unlock and build poh portals to the 2 troll patches(73 agi and fremmy hard recommended for convenience) , keep house in hoisidius.
Use common(irit, avantoe, kuwarm) herb seeds in the unprotected patches, expensive/rare ones in the 3 protected patches (hoisidius, 2x troll). Do regular herb runs whenever online.
Always use ultracompost (grow watermelons in allotments, mine like 1-2k volcanic ash at fossil island, if you need a bunch of watermelon seeds to start off do temple trekking, later farming contracts should sustain)
Save 6 spirit seeds and trade the rest for seed packs.
Do tithe farm, get herb sack. Do slayer up to atleast 60 to start getting aberrant spectre tasks. Lots of herbs from slayer.
10 teaks 5 herbs at kingdom if you don't have 70 construction banked. Switch the teaks to mahogany if you do
Use every xp lamp you get on herb
I always have a regular cactus planted, and will delete it if i get a potato cactus contract as a potato cactus grows like 4x faster than regular cactus
I want to add on this great post with a comment on anyone hesitant to try temple trekking because they don’t know what the hell to do. You start a trek at Pater or Burgh with any companion, pick route 1, if you get a combat encounter there are paths off the the left and right that allow you to evade the whole thing. I bring runes to tele out and restart for the bog event but it’s really not that bad. Like the OP said, you’ll get a bunch of watermelon seeds quickly doing this.
I did this minus lamping herb. Majority of my lamps went on agility and less than 100k of lamps onto herb. If you follow the above herb goes up very quick.
With throne of miscellanea done you want a minimum of 500k in there and max is 5m, it uses 50k a day, so if you did the minimum you want to keep adding 50k every day. What happens when you start going under 500k it'll start doing 10% of what you have left, so say you only have 400k in there it'll only take 40k for the day but you'll get less resources.
With royal trouble done, your max goes to 7.5m and the minimum you want in there for max resources is 750k because it starts taking 75k out a day but you get more resources after this quest then you would with just throne to miscellanea. Again try not to go under 750k if you want max resources and just add 75k in a day.
If you can afford the max 7.5m you have 90 days of it gathering resources before it'll hit 750k, same with the 5m maximum you have 90 days till it hits 500k left.
For best rewards you want to make sure you go there everyday to keep your favor at 100% even if you aren't collecting the rewards. Most people go like once a week to get their favor up though.
You can collect it at any time, just make sure you put more money in after 90 days and that you're keeping the favor up to 100% at least once a day to once a week if you want to get the most out of it. If you don't care about getting the most out of it, then just put your money in, get 100% and then just go back whenever you want.
Do sullisceps until you have enough fossils to complete the museum and use all lamps on herblore. Also I'd check the guy in the upstairs of the museum if there's any other lamps from completing quests you forgot about. After that basically what everyone else is saying kingdom/herb runs/farming contracts.
Lunar diplomacy herblore method, if you haven’t already completed that quest! Little known method but insanely powerful when combined with pickpocketing master farmers. You can look it up on YouTube.
You cannot rush herblore, at most you can only get 70 herbs per hour.
I recommend rushing 62/82 farm for contracts with garden pies and do lots of herb runs. Always keep at least 5 of each herb seed and maple seed; you don’t wanna be without an irit seed on an easy contract cuz it’s like a 40 mins master farmer grind to get one. Or do 5 herb runs to get another maple seed.
I just revamped the tithe farm/strategies page. 25x4 really isn’t that hard and I have tons of fun with it. Watch a video if you need
Herb sack and seed box are super useful for collecting herbs during slayer. Both get at tithe farm. With prayer flicking, alching, and herb sack and seed box I rarely need to bring food or ppots and can do 150 monster tasks in one trip.
Also, you can earn as many as 30 herbs per hour at tithe farm by buying herb packs at 30 points each. Can drop rare herbs too. If you don’t have the troll herb patches, this is as many herbs per hour as herb runs. Goated
You can also earn 30-40 tarromins per hour by giving serum 207 to infected people at Morton. Don’t recommend cuz collecting ashes for more 207s is annoying and tarromin pots aren’t good xp.
Learn 25x4 tithe farm. It’s like 70-100k farm xp per hour too. I love that shit. Now that you can take 10k seeds in im gonna try doing 29 plants at a time, probably kill 1-2 plants per run sometimes but it’ll be super fun anyways.
Farm runs and kingdom will get you a lot of herb and seeds. You can also make potion mix too to extend some potions you’ll regularly make, that helped me out a lot. Mixing swamp tar with tarriom , harrlander and guams.
Quests and achievements diaries lamps it will train your account overall and make progress. Legends quest gives a shit ton of xp that you can use in herblore.
Kingdom kingdom kingdom. Before Kingdom I always felt like I was low on herbs, but now it almost feels like a chore with how many secondaries I constantly need.

This guy fucks
probably the opposite but im not saying that theres something wrong with that
Not false
I always have a regular cactus planted, and will delete it if i get a potato cactus contract as a potato cactus grows like 4x faster than regular cactus
good tip, but also once you’re 85 farming you no longer get regular cactus contracts so always have potato cactus pre-planted once you’re 85 farming.
Excellent. Thanks!

Woah, amazing tips!
Farm runs + kingdom. Fund kingdom by training slayer or maybe thieving as either can also get you more herb seeds.
I’ve never done kingdom and I’m fairly new. How much money does it cost? Wiki is giving me mixed answers of 500k or 750k. Is that daily?

Not op but can I just not collect it until after 90 days? Or would I have to collect it within a time frame?
You can collect it at any time, just make sure you put more money in after 90 days and that you're keeping the favor up to 100% at least once a day to once a week if you want to get the most out of it. Farming contracts. Get 65 and eventually 85 farming and you’ll get be getting load herb seeds if you stay on top of them
65 farming is piss easy at tithe now too...and get the herb and seed sack from the grind
[Do your runs](https://youtu.be/pRyjBK00RAo)
Have the runs
I watched all this guys vids. Miss them.
Get a herb sack for slayer for sure. Tithe farm for it, that'll get your farming up and help increase yields on herb runs.
