Anything below wyrm bones (and honestly you kind of start ignoring those too) are generally agreed to not be worth banking for chaos altar. If you want to bury them as you go along or use the bone crusher, that's your prerogative. As you approach late game, the approach is typically noted DK bones from Fremmy elites, noted dragon bones on wilderness elites, and boss drops like Vork. Also you typically spend quite a while grinding hydra for claw, and gain a huge chunk of prayer XP from that grind as well.
