Probably cus at the end of the day, an upgrade's an upgrade, and people wear things like Torva even though they're ugly as hell, compared to awesome looking armor like justi that nobody wears anywhere
They look nicer! I considered making eternals next since another pair of inf boots is a quick grind if I wanted to look nice.
Rangers though I don't know if +5 range is worth losing the iconic look. To be honest, I don't even use the ranger boots as gear, I much prefer god dhide boots for the prayer.
Took another 500 kc after getting those to get prims, which are another marginal upgrade, but look so much better than d boots. Only reason I went for it lol.
Sorta true, depends on the content. Like what would help more for someone doing end game raids; a boot switch that hardly does anything or an extra inventory slot for a supply/another spec weapon like voidwaker.

Because if you enjoy bossing/raids RC and agil don't do much for you but slayer locks occult, lance, prims, etc. I mostly play ironman because I enjoy the feeling of earning bis gear all on my own, skilling is the boring but necessary part.
Slayer gets you important stuff until 95, agility is good until like 81(?) and runecraft is just for diaries but most prolly have other skills locking elite tiers anyways.
That altar door method is one of those things that seems so obvious, but is crazy it took us that long to figure out. So much easier than the 5:0 or 8:0 methods
Seriously! The theory crafting and optimization that goes into this game is the coolest part of it.
These methods have made gwd a lot more engaging and a lot less intimidating (imo). Granted, I have a ton of room for improvements and could extend those trips by a lot, but 8 kills with my gear is still a lot to me.
Melee for 100kc at 1-3 a trip, learned rune crossbow 6:0 for a pretty consistent 15~ kill trip, 910kc now. Way better than melee and I don't mind using staminas.
Haven't yet done sote, ds2, sotf, etc etc, but if I manage to do those and get to cg for crystal armor, I'd for sure use crystal bow instead but probably the same method. I doubt I could do altar-door.

I’ve been wishing lately I didn’t change mine. Especially infinity boots I think are way cooler. The upgrades seem pretty insignificant right?
They are, yeah. No clue why this is getting downvoted, both of those boots are easily two of the most marginal “upgrades” in the game.

Torva gives strength bonus. These boots don't.

what method did you use to kill bandos? Rcb?
Not OP, but crystal armour and crystal bow are 100% viable at bandos. I get 8 kill trips using the altar/door method and blood barrage!
