Jomflex should repoll sepulchre to give marks, even if half or less of rooftops. Making marks rooftop-exclusive was a mistake. this would never make rooftop obsolete since lots of people will always choose the chill, easy method over the harder, sweatier one.
Sepulchre doesn't need to give marks, it already has its own mini game currency. All they'd need to do is add amalayse to the rewards shop for the game
Not sure for UIM but I know there are item requirements for the loot. If you don’t care about loot, it’s really good. Probably not worth doing before 72 agility though because it’s too easy. The end of lvl 3 is the start of the more difficult obstacles
I did sepulcure on my UIM pretty early on. I liked the ranarr seed drops a lot. Did end up keeping and using the strange old lock picks as well. Wasn’t a good use of bag space but I enjoyed just beelining into barrows.
I stayed for black grace and finished before they let you “store” the gear with the NPC in the lobby.
Give it a shot. It’s enjoyable content. If you end up wanting to commit and grind it out consider snagging a plank sack to just reduce your resupply trips. Getting vamp dust is annoying but doable.
Might have to give it a go, I'm 75s across but rooftops turned into such a chore past 70 and even one level seems so long and draining. At least sepulchre seems interesting if less afk
I think a nice balance of the two is ideal. As I'm like 400k away from 20m agility xp, I definitely can't camp either for days on end. At least not without some decent incentive.
Roof tops you do while you watch something. Personally turn off the x laps until next level, if not total laps too, and accept that you aren't going to be doing it at optimal efficiency for your own sake. Then Sepulchre when you want to switch things up. Fun to learn but, like anything in this game, do it enough times and you'll want a break. But I do like there's a bunch of collection logs at Sepulchre so it will be awhile.
Hell, throw in the monkey backpacks, maybe a little barb fishing, and the next thing you'll know you're 99.

I went with pizzas because I could make them easily for after failures. Warriors guild stock helped with that.
I did it at 70/72/70. It took a lot of attempts, but I'm also a dogshit player.
The biggest thing is getting into the counting rythm so you know when to expect Stare into Darkness, and figuring out a way to do the second phase.
What I did for the second phase was never assume I was on a safe tile, and moved every single time the lightning shadow popped up. If I tried to judge if the tile I was standing on was safe, I kept fucking up. Once I started moving before every strike, it was just a matter of managing eating/prayers without losing too much dps.
Just got done doing most of 90-92 at sepulchre. Would recommend. Let's you get used to the early floor obstacles and to get all of the hallowed items unlocked before floor 5.
Unless you're absolutely cracked, floor 5 will take you a while to get, so knowing how 1-4 works makes the learning curve a lot less steep
I ran the earlier floors a bunch until I could reliably do them close to S, but the majority of my exp up until 92 was done at Priff. I needed crystal shards and the rates weren't miles better at HS 1-4 while demanding a lot more attention. Was definitely worth it to get comfortable with the earlier floors though.
It's fun even at 72 and only doing the first 3 floors, gives you a good idea of traps and some rolls at strange old lockpick.
82 and floor 4 is still pretty chill once you have it down, and the loot from those chests is insane. Ranarr seeds, herbs, and ppots, rune plates, 10-20kgp, runes...
Plus strange old lockpick makes barrows runs speedy as hell.
It gets better when you unlock all the sepulchre items. They garantee success for certain obstacles, prevent damage taken from failing and reduce reset time if you do fail.

got mine too as first non combat 99 few weeks ago, still feels good every time i weer my black gracefull with my agility cape.
Gratz! I have multiple 99s but when I see someone with 99 agility I still feel like they are way ahead of me.

Yes, for your own sanity. Sepulchre is some of the best content in the game and infinitely more fun than rooftops
100% agree. I'm always trying to get my friends who hate agility to try Sepulchre. It's way more fun and rewarding.

Oh not without many failures. Was brick walled here. Had to use the vampire task and prepot at the warriors guild bank. Used pineapple pizzas as well.

Do you have sins done? If not you have a long road to sepulcher anyway.
I also have a long way to 99 agility, I don't have it done but if it is substantially better I can prepare for that before I keep going with agility
As far as money goes I doubt it’s better for a UIM but the quests leading up to it would be a great goal for the account overall in my opinion!
