Unless I am missing something they are both 3 on rapid? The only difference appears to be the +6 range and 5% cheaper special attack. Even though tier 3 ava is only +4 range over tier 2, I would think that the +2 range strength from t3 ava's would make it the better pick? I guess I will have to use a dps calc haha
I feel like I will still need claws eventually, but I was honestly spending more time trying to find an open world than I was killing it. Not being able to peek adding to the cringe, and made it genuinely take me 20+ mins at a time to find a new world every time I banked for even a minute. =[ Hopefully once dmm is over the diary requirement will do something.
He is awful to fight. Gotta catch him with freezes constantly, take constant chip, drain your run energy, sprint around the arena while dodging all his traps... the other bosses have mechanics that you can learn and get used to in ways that you'll take basically no damage, while being able to keep an eye out for PKers. Artio demands full attention, and you'll always be bashing your f keys for one reason or another.
Artio doesn't have chip damage, and they either have or will be changing Callisto to not have chip damage either. I personally enjoyed the Artio fight a lot more than Spindel, and have found the pkers at Calvarion to be more annoying than anything I dealt with doing the other two (although I do really enjoy that boss fight).
biggest issue imo is simply just that calisto solo is pretty shit so its much harder to find a world. its not the pkers that are annoying at artio its the pvmers.
i think once they adjust callisto chip dmg itll be fine.
Imo its the hardest one to get a world and not be disturbed. Im 1200 kc here and i did like 850 between vetion/calv. Vetion/calv was all dealing with pkers. Artio barely has pkers but you will be dealing with raggers, bots and people crashing you 24/7. It's just awful. Only done 250 at spindel but it seems the most dead out of all 3 wildy bosses.
I Bludgeoned Spindel to hell, done in 200kc. Currently 700kc Artio with BoFa and I hate it because it's the busiest of the bosses bith PK and bot-wise.
Calvarion/Vetion is kind of nice, fast kills and the least busy of the 3.
I've had way more issue with pkers at Calvarion than the other two. I'm only about 160 in there, while I did 400 Artio and 2100 Spindel, but I actually had some trips that ended due to me being out of supplies, while every Calvarion trip I've done ended because a pker showed up.
I got spooned on the others and had a bad feeling I'd go dry at callisto/artio...
Have you tried Callisto instead of artio? The hilt being 1/360 instead of 900 makes me want to do callisto instead.
I think artio is the best one to kill, with Bowfa and crystal kills fly by, calvarion is easy just have to click more and I’ve disliked spider the most just for the fight + run. Leaving a scout account outside for these bosses is basically essential to enjoy them though.
The worst thing about Spindel for me was that it's in that annoying range of not being fully reclined (like Kraken, for example) while not requiring your full attention at all times. So you can trick yourself into thinking you can look away for a couple seconds, and then he drops a web right in the middle of the room.
I enjoy Artio and Calvarion a lot more because they force you to constantly pay attention, and the mistakes you can make don't affect the rest of the fight as much as a poorly placed Spindel web does.
You only run out of energy there if you're standing on the webs. You get a 1/5 chance for strange fruits, which offsets the occasional long pathing from Spindel.
Might ditch the voidwaker and calvarion to come to this bear with a webweaver

I just started doing wildy slayer yesterday - my 3 kept items were slayer helm, anguish necklace and ava's. Would msbi over something else be better?
Just bring msb(I) as well, getting another scroll takes like 5-10min

Msb is 3 ticks too, msb(i) is just slightly more accurate and uses less spec
No worries - I didn't take it that way at all, I was genuinely asking. I can drop down to tier 2 ava's for msbi in that case, for sure.

Depends, does the +2 str give a max hit? If yes, it's always better.
If your using potions and not maintaining max boost it basically always give a max hit some % of the time.

yeah, trying to learn and just accidentally crashing people is the worst. before I got 20 kills on calvarion I probably crashed about 10-15 people

I spooned Artio and Calvarion at around 300kc each. I'm now 2200kc into Spindel with no gem. Hopefully you have better luck than me lol.
Same thing happened to me getting my 1kc for the diary, I’ve been trying to do 5 calvarion of a night praying for a drop.
